New Concept Dental is one of the best! I have always had a great experience from dental cleanings to dental work. Everyone is the office is always so friendly and takes time to explain what is happening! Amy is a great hygienist, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

In the past, I havent had the best experience at the dentist office, but that all changed when I started coming to New Concept Dental. If there is ever anything that Im unsure about, they take the time to explain with no problem. The staff is always very professional, friendly and helpful.

I have been a satisfied client of New Concept Dental for over 15 years. Even as the practice has grown they have been able to keep the same level of commitment and excellence to their clients. I see many new faces when I go for my appointments and am always surprised by the level professionalism everyone in the office has. They have a number specialists in house and are able to offer a wide range of services without needing to be referred elsewhere. I would highly recommend New Concept Dental!

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! PART2....She said she will speak to Dr. Fay and get back to me with an answer. She got back to me and told me that he will correct the issue but I will have to pay again. I explained, this is a correction of a job that was not done correctly. She said she will speak to him again, called me back to let me that he is willing to see me to reexamine his work and set up an appoint once again.During the appointment, the Dr. did a bite test but insisted that he does not see anything wrong with the work he did. I asked if there was nothing to correct why was I asked to pay to correct it? Instead of answering my question, he insisted nothing was wrong and suggested that it is all in my head.I have had other cosmetics work done by other doctors before moving to DE and have never experienced anything like this. Throughout the process with Dr. Fay, I felt nickeled and dime-d while my complaints were being dismissed. He lacked knowledge and was very arrogant and disrespectful. I have to visit another doctor with skills to correct the Dr. Fays job. I have disputed the the claims he submitted to my insurance company and intend on filing a law suit to recover any $ I will have to spend to fix everything that was done wrong as well as any lost wages.I also want to add that there was always some miscommunication between the front desk and the dentists in-terms of charges and appointment etc. I had to check and double check everything to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Some of the receptionists one in particular is very rude and lacks listening and customer service skills.Again, HORRIBLE!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST!!

Let’s first start off with the front desk staff, absolutely amazing!!! As soon as I walked in the door I was taken care of, no complaints whatsoever, and the staff was so accommodating and welcoming, they were all so pleasant. I was taken care of in ample time, there was this blonde woman in the front, I forget her name. She took care of everything that needed to be taken care of, she was very helpful with answering questions about my upcoming treatment. She spoke very highly of all the doctors, which definitely made me feel more confident coming here.I don’t think any of the other dental offices i’ve been to have ever taken care of me in such a quick and efficient way, these people are truly amazing, you will not regret coming here. My husband I and will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends. The woman who did my cleaning was so gentle as well, I have very sensitive gums and i’ve always hated getting cleanings because it was always so painful, but I swear to you, I didn’t feel a single thing.

Dr. Monet was amazing with my anxious, shot-phobic 9 year child. It was his first experience with receiving novocaine and he got through it very smoothly and quickly with her special kid-friendly techniques. She explained the procedure as they went in a calm, reassuring, kid-friendly way that kept his alarm bells off. Wonderful dentist and staff, highly recommend.

I have been going to New Concept Dental for over 15 years. The staff is friendly, capable and more than helpful. They do everything possible to allay any fears you might have about dental work. I highly recommend them.

Very clean and professional office with staff that help you feel welcome and relaxed

I have been going to this dental office for the last 3-4 years. The staff here is always kind, sweet and patience. They are knowledgeable and always provide a great quality and care. I have a young son and he struggles at time and they have always been patient when him. And they do well with maintaining his beautiful smile!

I must say that I never look forward to going to the dentist but today was my first service from new concept dental. Dr Weinstein and the dental tech were awesome and I will definitely have less anxiety in the future. My old dentist office (Wilmington waterfront) the dentist treated me like he was the butcher from gangs of new york, I swore he yanked out my tooth with a crow bar and heated up lead in a cauldron and poured it directly into my tooth :-). But this procedure today was virtually painless.

The level of anxiety I get going to the dentist has now gone away. I’ve avoided dentist offices for years because of past issues. From check in to check out everyone was amazing here. I went in on Tuesday for consultation and was back Thursday for a filling and Dr. Weinstein and staff were AMAZING. No more sweaty palms

I called and scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and consult for teeth whitening and was told they do whitening on Monday and Wednesday , my nurse was very good but told me I was NOT scheduled for a cleaning just a consult. I was then told they only do whiting on Friday but they would make an exception for me which was great. The reason I am giving a bad review is because trying to schedule my cleaning and whitening was HORRIBLE the receptionist that was supposed to schedule my follow up had no clue what was going on and kept changing the dates me and the nurse had already confirmed. Then told me the Dr. had completely changed my treatment plan. Nurse was good, doctor was good but the receptionist is why I won’t be going back. Had absolutely no clue what was going on.

Great experience with Jennifer yesterday getting me ready for my new insurance needs. So helpful! Plus great experience today getting my teeth cleaned with Sami. She does such a nice job and is extremely nice. Always happy people at New Cocept Dental. Thanks so much!

This was my first visit to New Concept Dental, it was a great experience for me with Ryan giving me X-rays and cleaning my teeth. I feel like I have new teeth! I had a doctor examine me too. I think her name was Dr Karnam who was very friendly and professional and who gave me good advice about an area of concern of one of my teeth.

Had my 6 month cleaning and xrays and fluoride treatment with Sami. Had like 20 xrays done ..but she was quick and so professional. Couldnt ask for a better hygienist . She is a gem. Ive known Amy for many years and when she moved to New Concept, we changed dentists just so we could follow her. She does a great job and I wouldt hesitate to recommend her for dental hygiene. I wont let anyone else clean my teeth.

Left NCD today due to Dentist that did not listen to me when I raised my hand because I was in pain. Then during a break, told me basically that I would have to deal with it, THEN inflicted more pain by leaning hard on the device that separates my teeth from my gums. I left there in tears, and immediately called another dentist. I will / can never go back, as the treatment was traumatic.

I needed several teeth to be extracted for a serious heart surgery scheduled for 042121. I would have been forced to delay the surgery without the dental work. I attempted to schedule the extractions with an oral surgeon but they were unable to accommodate me.I made one phone call to Jenn and other staff of New Concept Dental whose names I cant remember. I explained the situation to staff and within an hour I received a call with an appointment scheduled on very short notice for 032921. Dr. Alenna Monet, D.D.S agreed to perform the extractions on her day off.Dr. Alenna Monet performed 5 extractions without causing severe pain and with me not even realizing the teeth were extracted. Dr. Alenna Monet was very nice, professional and caring person. She explained everything and was always checking on me during the procedure. I felt extremely comfortable being in her highly skilled and capable hands.I must thank Dr. Monet for working on her day off and the entire staff...

I have been a patient with New Concept Dental since the early days of the practice. My kids started there as early as 4 years old...now theyre adults. I have seen and experienced the evolution of the practice. Over the years I had gone to other dentists to try out their services, but ultimately made my way back to New Concept Dental...and it was always like coming back home. I have had a few negative experiences with the front desk staff in past years, but never with the doctors and hygienists. I even left for a while because of the front staffs approach toward billing and collection. Im back again though. In the past I would usually have Dr. Faye perform my dental analysis, but this time I had Dr. Alenna Monet. She was very pleasant, gentle and informative throughout the entire appointment. At the front desk I interacted with Victor. He was the absolute best! I think Dr. Faye has done a great job at growing his practice and evolving his hiring to bring in some of the best folks to continue the great reputation that he has worked so hard to develop! Its good to be back home! Special thanks to Dr. Monet and Victor! You guys ROCK!!!

Everyone was pleasant from the time I called in to book an appointment as a new patient to the time I walked out with all the knowledge I needed on what to expect in the days to come. Victor made the first impression wonderful for me. The young lady who helped me checking in was very warm and kind. The hygienist, dentist, and gum specialist were genuinely nice, careful, and informative. They were not intimidating in a way that I have experienced other doctors. And they calmed my worries by answering all of my questions. The girl I checked out with was so patient with me, she was super thorough and made sure I didn’t have any questions by the time i left. I wish I could remember her name. She was a lot of help. All in all, it was the most enjoyable experience Ive had visiting the dentist so that counts for something.

This one was my first visit and was late by 10 mins. The reception told me to reschedule my appointment. I had a disablilty in my leg and requested to consider it but staff didn’t consider that at all. Very disappointed. I have never faced this kind of professional or hospitality ethics in my life.

This is a fabulous practice. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel comfortable as a patient. They clearly explain what they are going to do ahead of time so there are no surprises. Wonderful dentists and technicians and hygienists. State of the art technology. They even make crowns on-site which is really convenient. Very happy to be one of their patients.

I’m a new patient and I’m really pleased with the professionalism and kindness of the staff. I went to my appointment with lots of nervousness- the office and decor is very calming and minimalist and I really appreciated that. The office and exam rooms were all very clean. The staff was very reassuring as well(I very rarely give 5 star reviews- so 4 stars from me is pretty great service)

I was very nervous and scared to go to the dentist. Dr Brian Matthews and his staff were great. From the time that i made the appointment, walked in for my appointment, and met Dr Matthews and his assistants. They were all great and caring of my needs. The new dentist, Dr Weinstein is very nice and is great at talking to you while he is doing each procedure. Treatment coordinators Lauren and Victor are very helpful in getting all of the paperwork handled so you dont have to worry about it. The practice are taking the recommended precautions and making sure everything is wiped down cleaned against the C virus. Very pleasant staff. Just one suggestion, turn the TVs so when you are in the chair, you can actually see them, (LOL). I. E. Mirrors On the ceilings.. also the fish tank is really calming but what is the little blue fishs name? You should list his name so that the little kids can talk to him. Thank you for the great care, love the outcome of my visit.

Dr Amanda Matthews is the perfect dentist for our family. I personally had work done recently and was terrified. She was so kind, gentle and thoughtful, my anxiety quickly diminished. The staff are so welcoming and warm. The office is clean and comfortable. And the dental technician made sure I was comfortable throughout my procedure and that I had everything I needed for home follow up care. Dr Matthews is amazing for myself and my children. I would not recommend this dental office, They are constantly trying to find away to get money from you and today will be the last time they can ever bill me. I received a email that I have an appoint on 09/09/2019 which I do not remember making email says please confirm. So I call in and cancel the appoint and the lady stated there will be a $50 fee for cancelling because I did not not give a 48 hour notice. I stated I do not remember even making this appointment and she stated I made it back in February. Not to mention they sent me a bill a few months ago after I got some work done stating they did not bill me correctly when I got my work done. But my balance had to be paid in full for me to get my work done. I will never go back to this Dentist again

Some of the nicest staff ever! I personally have had the most experience with Lisa and she is awesome!! Super friendly, always accommodating and very knowledgeable. I absolutely love her. Dr. Fay is hands-down the best dentist I have ever been to!!

All of the staff are great here! My daughter had to have two molars removed. Dr. Bayley and those attending her were extremely comforting to both of us. They even called the next day to see how she was doing. Another great thing about this practice is the minimal wait time.

Dr. Matthews is great- she’s really helped me with overcoming my dental anxiety over the past few years. The office staff is always really professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I will be moving out of state, and highly doubt I will find a place as nice as New Concept Dental.

I recently moved into the area from Texas and was looking for a new dentist since I was experiencing some tooth pain. New Concept Dental saw me right away and resolved the cause of the tooth pain. They are also very punctual with appointment times and do not keep you waiting in the lounge. Staff is very friendly. I highly recommend.

While visiting family in Wilmington DE recently I had the misfortune of cracking a tooth while out to dinner one night. :( The restaurant in question will remain nameless, as it was a tiny pebble mixed in with the rice, and I know that it wasnt intentionally malicious on there part...but I digress. Thank God I was able to find New Concept Dental and get in to see Dr. Fey that night. He was the only dentist in Wilmington that would see me! Which saved me from having to go to a local emergency room and waste money getting a prescription for pain meds til I got home to see my regular dentist. I was so impressed with this dental practice. Dr Fey had me come in at 10pm on a Wednesday, which I couldnt believe, and then proceeded to stabilize the tooth and make it as comfortable as possible for the duration of my visit. :) All the while keeping me in good spirits with his crazy sense of humor! I just had to leave this review because I am so thankful for the level of service they provided. Even though my normal family dentist handled the final cosmetic dental work, it was Dr Fey who really fixed the situation that night and allowed me to finish my vacation in relative peace. Hey Wilmington!...youve got an absolutely amazing dental practice near you! I cant recommend them, and Dr Fey, enough.

I found this dentist office by pure luck. I recently moved to the area. This office is awesome very professional and clean. Dr. Matthews is my dentist at this practice and she is a blessing. Thank god I found a excellent practice

We went through a lot of trouble to find this dentist thinking they were good they were not. I had damaged my tooth on a piece of popcorn they said I could get it repaired but I would have to wait in excruciating pain for days until they could fit me in. They said my only other option was to pull my tooth. Well given the pain I thought I had no options at that moment. The guy spent an hour and a half in my lap yanking my tooth out. After that I was in pain and crying for weeks it has been a nightmare ever since. I finally found a real dentist and he fixed me up. Always go to an oral surgeon for any real work especially to have a tooth pulled or fixed. If a Dentist cant take the time to fix your tooth right away find another dentist. I have an amazing dentist now you can call him in the middle the night and he will come out and help you. These people traumatized me . Much more I could say but I dont want to write any more of a book that I already have

Just started going here and the whole team has been great to my family and me. I had, admittedly, let my care go for a while since we left our last dentist because who likes to get their mouth man-handled, right? Wasnt like that at all. I now regret not going back sooner. Everyone I dealt with was super professional, nice, gentle and the efficiency of the team is impressive. They handled myself and two of my kids in less time than I used to spend in the waiting room of my old spot and when it turned out that I needed a little more than a routine cleaning... they got me back in the very next day with no fuss. The dentist took his time numbing the area and didnt treat me like just a number and that made all the difference for me. Im impressed, you probably will be too if you try them out!

The most professional and friendly staff I have encountered at any medical facility in my life.Dr. Amanda Matthews is awesome! She took the time to consult with me and answer all my questions regarding a treatment plan and best path forward for my situation. She made me feel very comfortable in the way she talked me through each possibility, potential outcomes and reasons for her opinion. She never made me feel like she was talking at me and dictating her plan. It was a 2 way discussion in which I felt like I was an active part of my dental care. She was very aware of budgetary constraints regarding my dental insurance and crafted a plan to maximize effectivity within that budget. Absolutely the best I could possibly hope for! While she performed work on me, she was continually describing what was happening and what to expect. That really took the edge off the process and made me completely at ease. In the two visits I have had with her so far, she has earned my complete trust in her ability and her opinion.The front office staff is just as awesome! Every one of the ladies at the front desk were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They were all fully engaged in my situation from assessing probable out of pocket expenses with regards to my insurance plan coverage, to making appointments for me to see a specialist recommended by Dr. Matthews at another facility.Not to be left out, the hygienists are fantastic too. The person that worked on my daughter did a great job making her feel comfortable and relaxed. That’s no small feat! My hygienist was equally attentive making sure I was comfortable and asking me if I needed a break often. With a great sense of humor and a skilled set of hands, she performed her task efficiently and never put me in any pain or discomfort.Then there was the young lady who took my x-rays. She was very patient with me as I gagged on pretty much every shot! I still feel bad for that. But like everyone else on staff, she made me feel at ease and handled it with a great sense of humor and perfect professionalism.The underlying theme here is that each staff member is dedicated to the patients in a way that I have yet to experience elsewhere. They are all integral parts of the team and take pride in the work they do. And it certainly shows! As unbelievable as it may sound, I actually look forward to future visits!

Great first visit. Timing was a little tight for me and they worked quickly but accurately. Very friendly too.

I do not appreciate being forced to pay before a procedure then afterwards have to pay more because the doctor needed to do more. This is inefficient having to do 2 transactions on my credit card and I would have used a different card if I knew it would have been more money.I got 7 fillings and I’m still having sensitivity and realized that the one tooth that is causing the issue was not treated. I blame Dr. Bailey for not marking the correct tooth during my routine visit.Dr. Matthew did a great job with the fillings. She explains everything as she is doing it so there is no guessing or wondering. She always checks in and makes sure you are ok while she is working. Besides my cheek and lip being sore from all the work. The work she did looks good. I will however need to come back ASAP to get this other tooth fixed since it’s the one with extreme sensitivity. N

Wonderful experience. The office is fully paperless, the people are cheerful and engaging. My last dentist (a spa in Chadds Ford) was always trying to sell me something. New Concept will fix what is wrong (if there is something wrong), or provide efficient and professional family dentistry.
