My first visit to the dentist was very positive. The staff was excellent and friendly, the process was easy, and the care was second to none. The office pooch, Cooper, made it even better! Its great to have such a positive outcome after a finding a new dentist.

I went to Dr. Dougherty on a recommendation of a friend. This was one of the best decisions that I made all year! She is masterful in dentistry!! The crown that she put in my mouth is basically UNDETECTABLE from the rest of my teeth. She was thoughtful throughout the process to ensure that I was comfortable. I used to think that all dentist offices just try to figure out ways to bill your insurance...and then I came to this office! Laura truly CARES about her patients and it shows! The entire staff is friendly, warm, and kind. They made me feel comfortable from the beginning! I even discovered that many of her staff have been with her for YEARS and NO ONE seems like they hate their job. (I have only ever seen this at Chick-fil-A lol) This tells me that she must treat her staff as well as she treats her patients. I am proud to say this is my new dentist office!

Im a total coward about the dentist, but these guys are so great I drive an hour for my appointments! When my last dentist retired, it took me 2 years to find a replacement I was happy with. Updated 1/29/21: I returned to the dentist for my permanent crown placement, and the experience was again a great improvement over previous crowns, thanks to Dr. D and her team using the most current technology. Thanks to the scanning technology, the new crown fit perfectly right out of the box. Dr. D and her assistant, Pam, work very well together, and the whole process was quick and painless.(Original review): Had the first of two crown sessions on Thursday. It was the easiest crown prep I have ever had (and I have a bunch of crowns). The good experience began when I showed up for an emergency appointment due to a chipped tooth. When Dr. D said I needed a crown, I figured I would have to make another, non-emergency, appointment, but she said. do you want to get started now? The office has the scanning technology that eliminates the need to make a mold for the permanent crown, so that simplified and sped up the whole process. Dr. D used a topical gel to prep me for the novocaine, and I never felt the needles. The whole team (Dr. D, Cheryl and Pam) worked efficiently and smoothly, and the entire process was easy for me.

For years I took every opportunity and excuse not to go to the dentist because of one really bad experience. After going to see Dr.Dougherty the fear that I had completely went away she is amazing and the staff does everything they can to make you feel right at home. The office is beautiful and the location is easy to find and access. I’ve had no hesitation going back for major work and just to get my teeth clean. Amazing office, amazing staff, amazing dentists. There is a reason they have nothing lower then a 5 star review and have won countless awards!!!

Dr. D & her staff have treated me with above and beyond care time and time again, through regular dental appointments to more advanced dental work, and now through the invisalign process. Dr. D provides patient centered care in which she and her team have always listened to my concerns and helped to craft a dental plan that works for me logistically, financially and regarding comfort. I have been a patient for a long time. They are caring and qualified. Also, the office just had a total renovation for a fresh new look.

I have had to go to Dougherty Dental Solutions for what ended up being a root canal needed in two different teeth about 4 months apart. Not only did I receive the most exceptional care, I received honest opinions. With being maxed out on my dental coverage, I asked Dr. D what she would do if it was her on December 1st finding out a root canal was needed. While she first mentioned we could mask the issue by giving me an antibiotic for 2-3 weeks to hold me off to the beginning of the year, she realized that if that option didnt work, I would be in pain during the Christmas Holiday...and who wants that? Not me! All my life, my teeth have been perfect, mainly because my parents spent the money on dental and orthodontic care. So, here I am...I turned 50 in June 2020...for roughly the past 5 years (its an age thing, we all know it) my teeth have started to do what they want to do no matter the maintenance or care I done or received since 1974 with Dr Gioffre.Dougherty Dental Solutions not only has knowledgeable and friendly staff, they put your situation first...maxed out on benefits, holiday season, what would be the best option for you?Dr D and her staff have taken care of my teeth for 10 plus years and its been top-notch!

Dr Dougherty is truly Amazing. She has been recognized by Delaware Today as Top Doctor three years in a row. Dr Dougherty was able to fix a problem that I had, that two previous dentist were not able to correct. She explained exactly what she was going to do, and let me ask as many questions that I had. All of her staff are TRULY AMAZING!!! They are so friendly, courteous, and professional at the same time. They always make me feel so important, and relaxed. I have been getting Botox injections pretty regularly for about 11 years. I was pretty satisfied with the results. Recently I was talking to a very dear friend of mine telling her that I need to go for my Botox injections. I called and made an appointment receptionist was very friendly first I want to say was very impressed with the office it was immaculate, talk dirty took her time with me, she explained my options. I took her suggestions, I am so glad I did! Going to a dentist for Botox makes the most sense, after all dentists are true specialist in the area of the face, much more than other healthcare professionals.I would say that 10 days after my initial visit with dr. Dr. Paige Kings attention to detail and getting my new implant installed perfectly has given me fabulous results! I was pretty scared of getting an implant, but these dentists, along with assistant Pam - who is simply the best around - made it a very easy and non-stressful procedure. And if all this isnt enough - the staff at Doughterty Dental are amazing: Chris gives me two cleanings a year, and Pam and Kim are the best dental assistants youll ever find. Lucy tends the desk with efficiency and good humor. I have had more than my share of dental woes this past year, but this dental practice has taken the angst out of dental work. I am grateful to have such a wonderful practice.

Even though it was my first time there, they were able to do a cleaning.They also made sure that they could get the info they needed while also not having me billed for it due to the current process for X-Rays and how most insurance companies would bill for when they are done.
