I second the person that said they wished they would have read the reviews first. The PA came in and called me by the wrong name, told me I needed a brace but the ones they had were too big and I could buy one. Also, the x-ray tech took pictures of the wrong areas and had to redo it. This place was a waste of time and money. Save yourself the trip and go somewhere else.

We were in and out very quickly with excellent care. All of the nurses were friendly and made the visit easy for our child.

I wish I would have read the reviews before visiting this place. But I would never assume this lack of care at a medical business. Total time spent at this place was almost 4 hours. I waited in the waiting room for a little over an hour, which is to be expected on a Saturday. So that was not the problem. The problem was I had extreme swelling from my broken arm, swelling so bad that as soon as the nurse saw me she knew it was broken but did not offer anything for my relief. An ice pack,Ibuprofen, or any anti-inflammatory… Nothing. She did not have any empathy when getting my pulse or taking my blood pressure. She left the blood pressure cuff on for longer than needed after she recorded my numbers. Left the room and came back in more than once without communicating anything. She hardly spoke. However the woman that did my x-rays was very empathetic and friendly and she is the reason why my rating has even any stars at all. After the initial wait in the waiting room and the nurse getting my vitals I was sent back to the waiting room for another hour or so. Then I was eventually called back to a room where I waited for nearly another hour and a half. I had to request to see my x-rays more than once, they were not offered. Final diagnosis was a broken radius near my wrist. I was supposed to be given a sling after my splint was put on and never got it. Everything seemed super unorganized. At the very end of my visit they finally gave me ibuprofen because the swelling continued to get worse and was up into my forearm. I told them the level of pain was a 7 out of 10 and was not prescribed anything. Was told to take Tylenol and Advil. Will NEVER go back and will encourage others not to go there as well.

Nice staff! Got me in and out in less than 45 mins and I had people in front of me too! I had to work that day and I still made it to work on time! Treated me nicely and diagnosed me correctly!

I think it probably depends on the time you go, regarding the wait. I have been here twice, in two weeks (bronchitis then uvultis then strep throat). Waited less than 10 minutes. Very impressed with their own staff and nurses and PA. We’ll be back! Though, I hope no time soon!!

Possibly the worst treatment I have ever encountered in any hospital/clinical setting. Nurse had no idea what she was doing and the PA was rude and said she could not help unless the flare up was happening now. Well it was. Doctor finally came in , looked around and said she could not find anything wrong. No blood test ordered. No Urine ordered. I said screw you guys and went to the VA. They found multiple things, some life threatening, and treated me like a human again. As a Combat Vet I will be sticking with the VA. Wichita/Ascension/Via Christi is a DEATH SENTENCE!

Wow! Expected to wait hours, walked right up and got in to see a PA within 5 mins. Thorough exam in a neat clean room, nice professional PA who listened to my situation and symptoms, prescribed meds, and I was quickly on my way. Happy patient!

Since I wasnt able to get in to see my regular doctor, Ive had to visit this facility twice in the past two months. I did have to wait a little on the first visit because it was late evening on a Friday, but that was sort of expected. Ive found the staff, from the receptionist(s), nurse(s) and the two different PAs to be very pleasant and thorough.

Anja, PA, Nicola, RN and Joan, RN did a great job helping me. A thorough, professional examination of my issue and super friendliness made for a very positive experience on a Saturday morning.

I was there Monday for a cough that was painful. The PA looked at me for 2 minutes said its not flu and left. So after suffering a few more days I went to my doctor and asked for a chest xray. Turns out I have pneumonia.

The other reviews are very accurate! I found the staff to be extremely rude during the triage process for immediate care. The receptionist was friendly, and that’s about the only positive person I ran into. The so called triage nurse was beyond rude. She acted like she hated her job, and didn’t want to be there. She asked me what r u here for? What do you want to be triaged for? I told her I was having flank pain possibly a UTI or kidney infection, and severe sinus congestion. She responds in a very snobby voice... Which complaint do you want to be seen for? I said both please. She says “ Well we only triage and see you for one complaint.” She said it’s the managers new policy. Well I said so you mean I can’t be seen for both issues?? She more the less said well it’s a policy. Won’t be back! Ended up leaving before being seen. If you can’t triage a patient.. then I’m not going to stick around. Remember first impressions last!

My visit was a waste of time and money. The PA insulted me by assuming I was only there seeking antibiotics. She failed to offer ANY real solutions beyond saying I could make an appointment with a specialist. I will now get a bill for $120, and spend more money at Walgreens looking for random otc drugs that might help.

If youre in any type of pain dont waste your time going here. They will gladly take your payment but dont care at all to help their patients who are suffering.

Should have read reviews before going to this clinic! They were very rude to my husband, doctor was in a hurry and told him to take antibiotics and get a splint for his wrist. We have insurance we wouldn’t be going to this clinic if it wasn’t an emergency! She was extremely rude to him when he asked for X-rays she just walked out and said ok with an attitude. Go somewhere else.

Took my 5 year old daughter in, turned out she had Strep Throat. Nurse and PA were rude, cold, disrespectful. Threw a blood pressure cuff on, shoved the thermometer in. My little girl was upset by this approach. There is no reason to be unkind to children. It doesnt cost anything to smile and be nice. Disappointing.

Very disappointed in the treatment we received from the PA and nurse Nichola (sp?) Today. They were completely disrespectful over the phone, kept interrupting me, and would not listen to my needs and concerns involving my 8 yr old son with an ear infection. The PA advised my son take Sudafed to get rid of his ear infection or I could give him an antibiotic. My choice! Well, I decided to pick up script due to how much pain he was in, having a heart patient in the house, and other kids. I went to pick up antibiotic and it was Amoxicillin, I requested Augmentin due to Amoxicillin NEVER working for him. He has had MULTIPLE ear infections in the past, I know my son and what works for him. Why give my son a med that will not work, then have to give him a stronger med in 10 dsts when it runs out. Makes absolutely no sense! I called to explain it and request the med myself. All I got from Nichola was attitude, she treated me like I was ignorant and that google or her opinion was more important than mine as a mother and his experiences. She stated that Augmentin was not used for ear infections...however, Dr. Nichols and Dr. Harrington ...thats right DOCTORS from their same company, Via Christi, always prescribe Augmentin or Cefdenire (sp?) For his ear infections. I am appalled at how they spoke to me and treated the situation. They are in the wrong field is this is how they treat patients and their parents.

This place is a joke. I had been suffering from an ear infection for over a month and was hoping for some relief. Since my primary care doctor is at Eberly Farms I went with that Urgent Care. I called first to see if they could see me for the infection and they assured me they could. When I got there the nurse was wonderful and kind but then came the ARNP. She was rude and gruff, did not even introduce herself before telling me I shouldnt have bothered coming in because I should just see my ENT in a week. She said she would not help me and that I should just deal with it until the following week. She told me anti biotics would not work and that I had need of an alternate medication. She then told me she would not give me that medication because I could just wait for the ENT. I asked her if shed at least prescribe a medicine that could treat the discomfort and swelling. She told me she was not going to give me anything and I could just wait.I am of course, bawling, because Im in pain and she says, you can take advil. So I leave in tears and call the complaint people. They meet with the ARNP and their esteemed medical director and decide that The Standard of Care has been met. and that I dont have a right to dispute the charges.Great standard of care. I wont be using you ever again.
