My first visit with this practice. Everybody here seems caring and are very friendly. Dr and staff are all engaged and are receptive to the patients level of comfort and treatment.

The staff is quite pleasant and helpful. We had a lot of fun! The doctor gave me a lot of information without making me feel like a child. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Honestly the best dental care I have ever received. I havent been to a dentist in quite some time because quite frankly I hate it, but they were extremely nice and welcoming and made the experience pretty tolerable. They explained things in a comprehensive way and it shows that they genuinely enjoy working there. I would highly recommend them and would be returning there myself if it wasnt for my insurance being out of network.

Smile Connections isnt just a dental office. They are family. I have seen Doctor Volker since I was a little girl and his constant care for his clients has always made me feel appreciated. My biannual visit is so much more than just a typical dental cleaning. Their staff is always so welcoming and you are always receiving the best care at Smile Connections.

I realize that a medical/dental practice is a business and needs to make a profit. However, as much as I like and respect those who are providing their service to me and the work they do, I sense that there is an attempt to up sell whatever new product or additional procedure that may not be necessary even though probably helpful. If cost and time were never an issue I might have a different opinion. But, with 17 years of sales in my past such things tend to make me question the “why” behind them.

Cande my hygienist is so thorough, yet gentle, and always so pleasant to chat with. She explains dental health education so anyone can understand! Dr. Volker takes his times and looks at everything. Comparing old x-rays or images to new ones and as he is inspecting my mouth. Always gives sound advice and education on the latest dental health practices.

The staff always knows your different quirks about your mouth. Dr. Meng is always available after hours for an emergency phone call. She reassured me I would be okay until I could get in. Candy cleaned my teeth today and she did one fine job! She said she has worked for Dr. Volker for several years now, but this is the first time I have ever met her. Kirsten usually cleans my teeth, but she wasn’t there today. All the dental hygienists are very nice and they all do a good job cleaning teeth, so it doesn’t matter which one I get. Dr. Volker came in and did a full mouth examination and had the hygienist take a couple pictures of my teeth; I think he saw something that could become problems later on. Uh oh! Nothing yet. The front desk receptionist, Liz is friendly and very helpful. Candy cleans my teeth. You can schedule with the same person. Dr. Volker is the best dentist. He is explains everything he is doing and why it has to be done. I dont like shots, but Dr. Volker gives them and I dont feel a thing. He is good with children. My daughter has been going to him since she was 5. We have been going to him for over 20 years. He is the best.

Everybody in the office makes you feel like you are family and truly care about your health. They will remind you to flossing or wear your retainer but it’s good because it reminds me to do them. They’re understanding when my busy college schedule forces me to change my appointment. I recommend them to everybody!

I would like to thank Dr Volker for taking time as an emergency on his vacation day when I had a tooth break and cause immense pain. He was my savior that day and I appreciate he took the time to temporarily fix it, then meet with me the very next week to improve it, and now a few weeks later make the permanent solution on that tooth.
