I would give zero stars if I could. My dad went in with a broken shoulder and he never received any therapy for it. He was left to lay in bed for hours on end and was not taken to the bathroom. They just let him go in a diaper. The staff was hard to reach and continually said they would leave notes for the dr. to call but to no avail. My dad kept telling us to get him out of there.We finally had to threaten police action and a lawsuit to get him moved. Very happy where he is now. Hopefully his shoulder will recove and his strength.

My wife left Specialty Hosp to this Skill Nursing n Rehab place here at Healthcare, they assured me they had the Nursing skill to complete her healing. In less the 4 days her wounds were worse, swollen and infected due to lack of care. Nursing manager was oh I will go call the doctor, left and never return. We had medical supplies stolen and no one knew where they went. This happen on 3rd day she was there that I was not there. She was transported to back to the hospital (Wesley) where they said good thing we decided to leave this place as her wounds were bad. HealthCare Resort employees are 90% Temps. Their female Rehab people were great, medical staff a joke.Never put sheets on her bed just folded 1 under her bottom, her food was never right. Her wound bandages were left open not taped all the way round left to drain out on the body causing sores. Would not recommend this place to anyone, if you have a family member there be very cautious of their treatment. One last thing they never found the missing items or even call to see how she was, especially the Nurse Manager that assured me they knew what they were doing.

This place was visually nice but my 90 year old grandmother was rarely bathed and her clothes weren’t washed unless she asked several times. There was a constantly rotating staff and though she had a couple of favorites, this place caused her and our family a lot of anxiety.The worst part is that on her check out day, they had no wheelchair or walker for her journey home even though they had six weeks to prepare. They were still preparing the paperwork while we were picking her up. Had my sister not been an experienced physical therapist, we would not have been able to do this transfer. A simple phone call to let us know they did not have her equipment could have given us time to purchase our own, even though we were told several times they would have it for us.They also missed the doctor’s orders to treat her shoulder so she went several weeks with an injured shoulder with no therapy. I would not recommend this place if you love your senior citizen. 😞

This place is SO terrible. If I was able to give it zero stars I would. There’s no way I would let my own worst enemy live here and been “taken care” of by the staff. Most of the staff are just terrible, terrible, terrible people. HORRIBLE facility 👎👎👎

My mother has been in assisted living for over a year at the Healthcare Resort of Wichita and feels right at home. The staff is awesome and always accommodating and mom says the food is good. Even through this time of Covid the communication has been great and the care to keep everyone safe is a top priority. If you are looking for a great new home I would highly recommend The Healthcare Resort of Wichita.

Healthcare Care Resort is a great place to work. They are an amazing team. Professional and compassionate with the residents. The staff go above and beyond, and have been extremely adaptive with the changes in our healthcare challenges at this time. 💙💙💙

After my stay in ICU and long term acute care in Wichita, my family started the search for the next step in my recovery at a skilled nursing facility. When they visited the Healthcare Resort of Wichita (“Resort”), they were greeted by Michail, the administrator, and felt welcome immediately, and the facility was so beautiful!My two month stay at the Resort was filled with delicious meals and very kind and caring people, who took good care of me with patience and compassion.All of the therapists (physical, occupational, and speech) were so encouraging, and my progress achieved through their knowledge and guidance was life-changing and gave me much hope for the future. They were such a blessing!Being from Western Kansas, it was difficult at times being away from family and friends, but the staff at the Resort made me feel at home and took care of me like family.We are so thankful for God’s healing, and that the Healthcare Resort of Wichita was available for me. The team at Healthcare Resort is AWESOME!!! They really work to embrace each resident as an individual!!! They have amazing clinical outcomes - great therapeutic results and most recently passing their Covid-19 infection control survey both the Rehab and the ALF with no deficiencies!!! Really a great team here!!!

Just finished my rehab stay here. My therapy was super great! They are excellent. They have personality, experience, knowledge, and they all really seem to get along. I would certainly recommend this place to family or friends and I will definitely be returning here if I ever need rehab again.

Horrible place! My grandfather has dementia and they do not know hot to care for someone with his needs. He is not combative but can say inappropriate comments and they have made it so bad on our family that we are moving him out 2 weeks early! Thank goodness for another place that is willing to take him!
