I recently had an appointment with Dr. Angela Pap at Kaweah Health Medical Group. I felt comfortable and cared for from the time I checked in at the desk.I was hoping to find a primary physician who truly listened to my concerns. I don’t know about you, but for me changing doctors or seeing someone new is always a little unsettling. After all, you are putting your trust in these professionals to keep you as healthy as possible. It’s a pretty big deal, especially as you age.I realize that doctor’s generally use scribes these days to document conversation and log pertinent data. Imagine my surprise and delight when Dr. Pap sat across from me and looked me in the eyes while we spoke.I couldn’t be more pleased! Dr. Pap is compassionate and truly caring. I feel less stressed and safe. I am so proud to be her patient.

This facility has the best staff and equipment. The Nurses & Doctor are some of the best in their fields. I have had Dr. Rasmussen before, and would highly recommend him as one of the very best. His Nurses & Anesthesiologyist are top notch people. They talk to you about everything and explain it so you can understand what is about to happen during & after the procedure. My experience was truly amazing. I would give them the highest marks beyond 5 stars if possible.Michael Hinds

My son has been with tamooka since his first visit post discharge routine baby check up and he is now almost 8 years old. I do not have enough good things to say about this doctor. His care and his compassion and his ability to work with the parents to figure out what is best for the child is just amazing. I hope that he gets to be his doctor turns 18.

Ive been here a few times and its nothing but great. Nice waiting area, dont have to wait long, staff are all very professional and friendly. I will definitely keep coming back!

Enjoy Dr. Mahalcin very much, the only draw back was the wait at the front desk in lobby. Line was all the way back to elevator, guessing 15- 20 people in line.

I broke my foot, and my experience was top-notch. All the services I needed under one roof. Started at the quick care office. Waited a few minutes. They ordered my X-ray. They had a wheel chair for me. My wife pushed me over to the X-ray office in the same building. I waited a few minutes. They X-rayed my foot. Sent the X-rays over to the quick care office. My wife wheeled me back to quick care. We waited a few minutes. I was taken back to a private room. Waited a few minutes. Doctor (I forget his name) came in and gave me the results. Then the nurse came in and gave me a walking boot. A couple weeks later, I scheduled a follow-up with the podiatrist at the same building. I got in quickly. Dr. Ajay K. Ghai saw me. He was great, patient, answered all my questions. Then they got me scheduled for a follow-up. I have nothing to complain about at all. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful.

They have one person for scheduling appointments. She never picks up when I call and doesnt call back when I leave a message. The recorded response says she will return the call within 3 business days. This is ridiculous! The Dr I was seeing, Brennan, is a joke. I do this for a living. I know when someone is full of air.

Frustrated that I just realized all this time going to their quick care which was explained to me as an urgent care was false. They basically call it a quick care so they can bill you for full office visits/copays even though you arent seeing your actual doctor and only seeing a NP. Kind of ridiculous that they use this loophole to charge you more when you arent receiving even close to the same type of service. Half the time they send me home and do nothing to help me and tell me I need to schedule an appointment to see my doctor. So what is even the point of going there? You bill me like I am getting treated, yet I am not. Time to find a new Dr./Medical Group

Dr Nguyen is great! Plan to check in 15- 30 minutes early prior to your appointment, otherwise you willbe late. There is often a long line at front desk.

Dr Mallari is wonderful. She takes the time to listen and explains treatment options thoroughly. She makes us feel very comfortable talking to her about our concerns. Thank you for being a great physician 😊😊😊

Dr. Brennan goes above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. Listens to my needs and answers all of my questions. All his staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Khalid and staff are always welcoming and truly strive to make it a good experience for the little ones. As a parent, I love to see how much the staff cares about the littles ones going in for check ups and shots. Thank you!

Kaweah Health Medical Group is great.... MDs, labs, procedures all in one place. Immediate lab results posted to your health profile ( within 24 hours) so that your time with physician is spent discussing next steps. My primary physician, Dr. Christiansen is wonderful... he is knowledgeable, personable, and focused on developing a health plan WITH you. He actively includes you in the plan and next steps. Referrals are timely and appropriate. Very happy 😊

Doctors are great. The only problem i have is Patient Services. They have treated me with disrespect and have humiliated me several times. We all are going threw problems. Covid, loss of jobs, loss of family. But when Patient Services go out of their way to talk down to people like myself there is something to be said. I do hope management sees this and resolves this problem.

Dr. Quackenbush is the best doctor my family and I has had for years. Short wait, polite and efficient staff, and a friendly environment. I felt like Dr Quackenbush legitimately care about my health. Its such a relief to have a great doctor.

I saw Doctor Said on April 14, 2021 for an assessment of my hypertension. Another Doctor prescribed 3 other medications which did not reduce my hypertension. Doctor Said ordered a different medication. Within 30 minutes my hypertension went down to 128/82. In my opinion Dr. Said is a topnotch cardiologist.

Great staff! Always friendly and helpful! Love Dr. Attaran! Hes patient and listens and makes sure every concern is answered. Doesnt push unnecessary tests but makes sure you have the ones needed for correct diagnosis!!

Dr. Hsueh takes time for his patients. He does not rush, and he makes sure the patient is well informed. He is pretty knowledgeable and excellent at explaining diagnoses details.

Dr. Ghai performed a successful foot surgery and guided the healing to a pain free recovery.

I had the most amazing quick experience this week at KHMG. I hurt my foot, I went to quick care, they sent me to X-ray, back to quick care to read the scan, the Dr told me that I fractured my ankle. She said that their podiatrist could see me immediately to go over a treatment plan. I was in and out of the building in about an hour. Exactly what I needed and one stop care.

Dr. Shams is an incredibly caring physician. Coupled with her medical expertise, I consider her one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and treating me. I highly recommend Dr. Shams as a top-flight internal medicine specialist.

Lady who schedules mammogram/breast US is the rudest person ever on the phone. Obviously she hates her job.

Each time I go to the clinic for services I always have a memorable experience. Beginning with the receptionist whom are always so kind, courteous and helpful. The medical assistants always make me feel so welcome and comfortable during my visit. The nurse practitioner’s are so informative, gentle and understanding of my feelings, my health needs and provide such wonderful care. And my specialist, Dr. Daniel Bolken is the most thorough and empathetic doctor I could ever ask for. Dr. christina patty at Visalia Medical Clinic is a terrible doctor. If your not able to help, dont do it. Dont see her for any help, youll receive no call back and youll leave messages with no return calls. Its been over a week and I was told, I would receive a call back either that day or tomorrow. She should have said, Ill get back to you when and if I can. (That would have given me the hint to go to another Doctor). Thank you but no thank you.Visalia Medical Clinic staff is wonderful and I had no problems checking in and was greeted with a smile. It is a 5 star on that part. Thank You staff members.

Dr. Brennan is the best my previous doctor retired and I found out about vmc through kaweah and he was the most polite doctor ever I was suffering from severe anxiety I had been on so many meds none worked but he prescribed me other meds and Ive been feeling great since he actually cares for his patients and does his best to help you highly recommend seeing him super easy going

The era of COVID has made visiting the doctors BETTER! No more sitting in the waiting groom for 45 minutes, we are quickly seen as our scheduled time. I love this new efficient way & hope it sticks.Also, Dr. Tomooka is a fantastic pediatrician. As soon as he walks in the room he goes over any questions I may have, & as a first-time mother I have plenty. He’s gentle with my child & very informative with me.

I love my clinic. The doctors have provided me with the care I need. My current doctors have taken their time to explain questions I may have. When I have questions while at home I just send them an email and they have responded within 24 hours or less.

I really appreciated his taking the time to double check with another doctor. His office staff is efficient and appointment times do not usually involve long waits to be seen for patient evaluation. Great place very friendly

The office ladies for Lovelace are so rude! I called to ask a question and she had the worst attitude! Seriously this happens almost every-time I call it’s always someone angry over the phone. I didn’t catch her name but she apparently works at 11:48 on fridays... seriously the customer service here is the worst. If I could give no stars I wish I could. This place has so many issues. I try to avoid it all together it’s always a mess here! They need to fix this problem..

I hadn’t seen Dr Frank’s for almost 2 years. What I really value in a provider is for them to take the time read our charts. I know they’re really busy but we as patients really appreciate those few extra minutes in doing so. She asked how I was doing and said you need a refill on meds right? I said yes, mind you I was told I need to come in every year to check progress. But I didn’t mind being reminded how important yearly check ups are. She’s got an amazing personality, very kind too. We are trying a new med, she explained the risks and the benefits WOW! Truly impressed with the whole visit thanks again!EZB

I LOVE Visalia Medical Clinic! The staff and all of the doctors are both respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. As a single Mom of three my life can become pretty hectic at times! The doctors have always done their best to work me into their schedules or make a way for me and my kids to be seen when neccassary. The physician staff are caring and kind and I wouldnt trust my healthcare to anyone else.

Since first being examined by Dr. Lovelace, I have received the most thorough, professional care. She connected me with specialists at Sansum and UCLA when tests revealed there were bigger issues involved with my health. And since bring released from the hospital in December and remaining quarantined at home, when I have been too ill to see her in person at the clinic, I have been able to communicate with her over the FollowMyHealth portal. She has addressed any particular issues which were not responding to one med and required a different approach. I feel she has kept me alive through this pandemic, and I trust her implicitly.

Dr Christiansen is thorough and friendly! I highly recommend him.... Giving a 4 instead of 5 because his support staff isnt the best. They are slow to process prescriptions and referrals and be ready to be on hold for long periods if calling his office.

Best clinic in Visalia. You don’t wait 2 hrs like in other clinics in town.

If I could give no stars I would! Quick care is an absolute waste of time. They don’t care why you are there all they care about is how you will be paying for your service. I was told by their PA Velez there wasn’t anything she could do for me and if I continued to be in pain to go to ER!! Why did I bother coming here! A week later I’m still waiting for her call regarding my ultrasound results.

Horrible experience with Quick care staff. I left without even seeing the Dr. or PA because of how I was treated by the dr. assistant. I took a COVID test on her assistance and now they are refusing to send the results to my dr. who is at the same facility. I have been going to this facility for over 25 years and this is the 1st time Ive ever complained about any services or staff there.Updated to my post. I received a call back from the administration assistant from VMC she was very understanding and helpful and I greatly appreciated the opportunity to talk to someone about my experience. She assured me it would be taken care of and within an hour I received a call from a doctor with my COVID results and he assured me that they would continue to look into what happened. I am really happy with the follow up and could not ask for more.

Had an appointment with Dr. Nguyen for allergies that had been bothering me for about a month. He takes the time to listen to you and discussed symptoms with treatment options. His nurse Christina is one of the best. I always tell her that Im comfortable coming in and my blood pressure is always lower. A great doctor and staff!!!

Dr. Machado is amazing. I had been in pain for over a year. I had seen severally doctors and they all told me nothing was wrong. Dr. Machado took the time to look at my tests and saw what was wrong. After my surgery, I was now pain free. It is nice to be exercising again. Thanks Dr. Machado!

The place is very clean and sanitize the staff just around the clinic in general are friendly and helpful. Dr Hagan Staff was excellent and very helpful. Dr Hagan is a great guy and take his time with you. I was nervous and have anxiety and I was all over the place and he reassured me that everything was gonna be well and explain what we’re gonna do and when I left there I felt extremely confident.
