I was extremely pleased with my first appointment today at Bay Colony Dentistry. Dr. Blanchard’s office and staff are very welcoming and I immediately felt at ease. My exam/cleaning was very thorough and professional. After having been with the same dentist for 20 years, I was worried about finding a new dentist. Fortunately for me, I found the right dentist on the first try!

Bay Colony had the most friendly environment from walking in the door to finally meeting Dr. Blanchard. She connects with you so quickly and allows the visit to be warm and friendly even when the information shared may be a bit depressing. Her staff appears to share her sweet kind spirit rather than make you feel like a number. I am quite pleased that I was referred to Dr. Blanchard and pray to enhance our relationship and live a long healthy life with a better smile!

My visit to Bay Colony Dentistry was quite pleasant. I had a tooth filled expertly and without any adverse impact. The experience was a major plus from the receptionist and the Dental tech right up to Dr. Blanchard! I highly recommend BCD for every dental need.

I was unable to have my regular dentist in Alaska finish some work so I looked up an in network dentist here in Virginia Beach. I was extremely pleased with my visit here, at least for dental work which is never fun and never cheap. All the staff were friendly and personable, we had a lot of laughs, and they went out of their way to get me the treatment I need within my constraints which were many. Im happy to recommend them!

I avoided the dentist for 10 years due to an incident that made me terrified to even step foot in a dentists office. So, a solid 10 in the anxiety department when it comes to dental anything. But I am so happy I found Bay Colony, because they have been so welcoming and helpful even from the first time I called them.Ms. Judy is so knowledgeable and helpful. Even before I officially became a patient, she took the time to go over everything with me so that I understood. She also helped me with the dental wellness savings club, because I did not have insurance. It has a saved me quite a bit!Every single person I have come into contact w at Bay Colony has been wonderful. They are all so patient, and Dr. Blanchard has always made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, everytime.I literally cried like a child the first time I went in just to get my teeth cleaned, but now I sit there calmly like a big girl. I usually end up leaving in a better mood than I come in with because everyone is just that nice and willing to go above and beyond :)

Dr. Blanchard in the first dentist I have ever looked forward to going to. She is not only confident and competent, she is pleasant and positive, interesting to talk to and just plain fun. My son recommended her to me and he takes his whole family to her. All are very pleased.

It is possible to have a pleasant experience at the dentist!! The office is small and inviting, the staff efficient and warm and the service is personal and caring. All of the staff are wonderful!

When I say it is a pleasure to visit Dr. Blanchards office, I mean it. And no, I dont particularly enjoy having dental work done. The entire team is pleasant and professional, and they work hard to make their patients comfortable while doing excellent work. Ive had procedures from cleanings to fillings to even an unexpected tooth extraction with Dr. Blanchard and her team and never felt a moment of discomfort. Highly recommend this practice! (Im recommending them to my own mother, so I probably could have just said that!)

Doctor Blanchard is literally a GODESS in the dentist industry, she truly cares about you and wants to make your life better. I came to her with severly damaged and misstreated teeth from other very bad dentists and she completly took care of me and made my life good again. She even saved a tooth that almost had no hope and honestly was like being with a family member when she worked on my mouth.I also think every one of her staff is BRILLIANT. And they have the most lovely Judy at the front desk who also loves every single person who she gets the pleasure of having there. THE best treatment and caring customer service Ive ever experienced! Weve been part of this practice for 2 years and I never ceased to be amazed by the staff and the excellent dental care. Example: my elderly mom woke up with tooth pain and Judy, at the desk, was able to get us in the same morning. Dr Blanchard discovered the source and treated my mom on the spot (with a root canal). He was glad to state that DrBlanchard had done his dental work.This even more remarkable where you realize he has birth defects that effect the development of his mouth. I had an emergency dental issue while on vacation in Virginia Beach. Judy answered my call and could not have been more pleasant or helpful. They squeezed me in within a few hours and handled the issue quickly and correctly. The entire staff, including Dr. Blanchard, were clear and upfront about everything. I was comfortable during the procedure and, despite my general dislike for dentist visits, was incredibly happy with the experience. I can’t recommend these folks enough. Honestly, if I didn’t live hundreds of miles away, I would switch to Bay Colony Dentistry.

First dentist that Ive had to get for myself since turning 18 three years ago. All of the staff, and I mean ALL of it, are very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Dr. Blanchard is absolutely wonderful, and actually texts after a doozy of an appointment to ensure that Im feeling alright. My first visit to Bay Colony was in January of this year. I had not visited a dentist since moving to Virginia Beach a couple of years ago, and had begun to have some issues with my teeth. Dr, Blanchard mapped out a course of action which remedied the problems, and brought back my smile. She, and her staff, are quite thorough, and professional in every way imaginable. I feel very fortunate to have her as my dentist.

What a great find! I was searching the internet for a dentist that takes delta dental insurance and came across Bay Colony, was having a lot of pain and discomfort so called up there and was greeted by a wonderful receptionist who got me an appointment within 30 minutes after calling, got there and walked in to a nice atmosphere with a fireplace going and all, spoke with the receptionist and she was very nice and informative, after filling out paperwork I was escorted to the back and was treated by a very knowledgeable and friendly dental hygienist who walked me through the procedure and took x-rays...several minutes later I was greeted by Mrs.Debroah, the dentist and she was very attentive and had a great demeanor also, I was told up front what to expect from procedure to cost and was not pressured in the least by anyone at anytime which I thought was great, they arranged to have me return, the same day which is very rare considering the dentist busy schedule and my procedure was completed within an hour by the dental hygienist who took great care and attention to my teeth, checking out after the procedure I wasnt rushed out the door but was given instructions and follow up information along with some great advice from the friendly receptionist, I figured this was a one of a kind place considering the poor quality and attention Ive received at other dentist office, and to my surprise several hours later I received a personal text from Mrs. Deborah the dentist checking up on me and making sure I was ok, WOW, who does that today? This will be my dentist from now on period, see for yourself if every word I ve written isnt true and go see for yourself, I promise you wont be disappointed!
