Just pulled up to my favorite medical marijuana certification center in AZ for my renewal. Cant wait!

Had an appt at 10 am today. Did a virtual visit with the very kind and helpful Dr Nancy, so could take off the mask. Got advice on dietary, anti-inflammatory, and other remedies for my back pain besides dosing recommendations for medical marijuana. And have my approval and card from DHS before 6 pm same day. Staff very helpful. Even said to take a screenshot of my card with its bar code to make life easier. Come for the card but heed the advice. They know their stuff. Grateful!

Unreal ... that is the best way I can describe Tumbleweeds.I walked in yesterday as a new patient. I talked to Cathy and Ellis and explained that I wanted to initiate an application for a new MMJ card for myself. They were able to set me up with a video conference with Dr. Shabez so I could explain my situation and it helped that I had necessary medical documentation to justify my request with me.My application was submitted to AZDHS that same day and I received the approval email and digital MMJ Card the following day.Thank you Tumbleweeds ! The staff in this store are absolutely phenomenal. Being an ancient senior, with preconceived ideas about anything to do with hemp plants, I was ready to bolt out the door if I heard anything to back up my conceptions.These associates were more than patient and helpful in leading me in hemp use. (I walked in with the idea, you ain’t puttin no Mary Jane in my staunch anti MJ body)I had actually gone in for CBD oil for my dog, but left with hemp balm that has been so beneficial for joint and muscle pain.Tumbleweeds is my shopping place, and you won’t be disappointed if you stop in and make it yours too!Pat

Bro, just 1 day for the card. Esther hustled and helped me get my shh done. I had messed up on my end at the very beginning because ya, whole day from 10 when they opened till 6 or so when the closed they were helping me try to re submit or edit my info that was un accessible in my portal acct, plenty calls this day a lot of down, but the greatest up of all, getting my card same day! No one else doing that! Great employees working hard to get you what you need! Side compliment: Seems like a nice place for older folk, quite small but comfortable and lady’s were helping best they could with old ppl very nice 👨🏻‍🚀

I absolutely LOVE this place! I took my girlfriend in there with back pains of all sorts and we left with cbc remedy that has given such heavenly relief of pain to my love. My friend went in to get her renewal and thought everything was fine, after a week of no activity she called and was giving the impression they had basically forgot to to start her app process, so now after everyone is telling her how quick(2 -4 days) theirs got renewed she is having to wait because of of their misstep and is past the expiration date too. So she cant get her medicine. Very disappointing it seems to not be taken seriously.

It was over all a very good experience with the exception of one thing. I elected to pay the extra $25 to have them file my paperwork with the state. I created my account an emailed them my password. I didnt get a confirmation that they had received it so I called to check. I was told that they would contact me if there was a problem. Not a very satisfying response. I then asked again if they could just shoot me back an email letting me know that they got it, and she said that she would pass my message along. Never got a response back. It seemed like such a simple request and I was truly surprised that they shined me on like that.

This is my 2nd visit to Tumbleweeds. Totally new to all this when I came the first time. I found the staff friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I made an appointment and I suggest doing so. The wait time for walk ins has increased. Every Dr. I met with has always been educated and sincerely making a medical decision. The process was easy if you have paperwork. If you dont, there are ways to obtain help getting. Or having a physical exam, which does cost more. The prices for service is equal to what I found. Now each card is for 2 years. Instead of yearly. I will use Tumbleweeds next year.

How about that!!!! I went in and left out without any issues. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. If you have any reservations about which MMJ referral doctor to select, let me put your mind at ease; go to Tumbleweeds. I assure you will be taken care of.

Wife went in on June 5 and paid the fees and had them submit her application. 2 weeks later it was rejected because they did not upload the photo properly. Called in for help and they told her to do it herself and would not refund the application fee. The girl at the desk told her there was nobody that could help her and she was pretty much on her own. We emailed the manager and never got a response. Here she sits, 1 month later, no card and ZERO help from these guys. Will not recommend anymore with this type of service. She finally had to do the application herself because she was tired of waiting. What is the point of paying them to do the application if they dont...

They got me in and out, got my card SAME DAY, Friendly and kind/understanding. I’ve just read a lot of bad reviews all I can say I had good time, and got my card hours later after visit, like that’s pretty nice amarite?

Went to get my MMC. The ladies there are very friendly. Super helpful. I highly recommend anyone to go here for there MMC certificate and for your CBD needs.

Staff was very unprofessional held my application for two weeks with not sending it to the state because they did not have a simple password and never called me to request it from me. When I called they said nothing about not sending it and also said it would be processed immediately. Checked and once again they have not submitted . It is going on three weeks and still it has not been processed. I will never go back to this horrible business that benefits from people in need.

The doctors are AWESOME! The front desk clerk was not. Its a shame because this should of been a five star review.

Its been alittle over 2 weeks hopefully my card arrives soon, coming home all day landscaping job in pain. :( 2 weeks and 2 days got my card in threw my phone thank you tumble weed. Im now pain free :)

The staff is very Friendly and the owner Dana is an amazing soul. I’ve been to many dr’s and all of them don’t want to take the time to listen to the patient. Dana and her staff really care about their patients individual needs and made it easy to talk to and get help. Never had any problems with them until I renewed my card this year , still waiting for a refund of my state fee that I paid twice. It’s been two weeks now, so I’ve been patient . No follow up from them either , I’ve had to call and call and call for a mistake they made . Won’t be using them again until they correct their mistake

Such an amazing establishment. I went here to obtain my first card. The visit was quick and simple, there were no complications. I did not have any medical records, so I was able to be evaluated and certified by two doctors at the same appointment. I met with Dr. Alicia and Dr. Margot, they were wonderful and very knowledgeable. I was educated by them on the many different ways to consume THC, CBD, and the best method for my diagnosis.The ladies at the front desk were super welcoming and helpful. They triple checked my information to make sure everything was correct before they send it to the state. They thoroughly explained the process, handling time, and when I should be expecting my card.Something I wanted to point out is the furniture and building. It was rather old, very outdated, and could use some remodeling. They did, however, have snacks and coffee! I went on Valentines Day and they had pink heart-shaped cookies, so cute. They also sell apparel, smoking equipment, and CBD products.I recommend this place to anyone getting a medical card or renewal. They were having a Valentines Day special and I received $10 off! I couldnt have been more happy with my experience.

I was a walk-in on a day with no appointments available and was done with the entire process in less than an hour. They walked mee through what I needed to know as a first time card holder and let me know what I should be mentioning considering my conditions. It was a great experience especially because I was a bit anxious about the process.

Had a very nice experience in this office. The staff makes you feel welcome, clean comfortable waiting area we had to bring our kids with us and there was a nice side waiting room with a TV and games for them. The Doctors were caring and knowledgeable. I had my evaluation on the first appointment and another appointment was made for 4 days later and boom. I was certified. I would recommend all the people i know suffering from pain to come here.

I’ve came only here for all my certificate needs. Was always pleased how friendly the staff is. I never got the reminder that my card would expire soon, like they promised, due to this I’m last minute renewing before I expire. I’ve always been walk since it fits my schedule better. A year later they are a lot busier and being a walk in I’ve been waiting 3 hours!! A walk in should not have to wait that long, I think they should stop taking walk ins if the wait is going to be this long. Can’t book back to back appointments with no room for walk ins and say you also take walk in . Don’t think I’ll ever be back again.

I really enjoyed my experience during my initial evaluation. Both doctors were female and were both kind and attentive. The front office staff are younger and about half exuded good customer service. The girls behind the counter doing the transactions were slightly pushy to get me out of there even though it wasn’t busy at the time. I was told 2 weeks I should expect my medical card.(Online thru the Az Health Dept it says a total of 7-10 business days is how long it should take.) Today is the 2 week mark and I’ve yet to receive anything thru the portal so I called the office and come to find out my application hasn’t even been touched for processing in their office! Per Carolyn the woman who answered the phone, stated that due to technical difficulties and not enough staff my application along with many others hasn’t been processed on their end. I paid extra for their office to handle that and now I am being told I have to wait 3 weeks. I would have highly recommended this place except the fact that I was told incorrect information regarding when I would receive my card. 3 weeks later when you pay extra for a service to be completed isnt good business. I will not be going back for renewal. I heard Dr. Referralz was the way to go but I didn’t listen...

5 stars for Tumbleweeds. I was very nervous not knowing what to expect, but Dr. Brown and her staff made me feel comfortable and right at home. I waited about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, but the waiting room has a ton of reading material and other interesting items to look through. The doctor gave me a short checkup and asked pertinent questions related to my condition. She was happy to answer all my questions and concerns. Id highly recommend Tumbleweeds.

I almost went somewhere else to renew my card. Last year, I signed up for my card and Tumbleweed was wonderful. I decided to read the comments online before this years visit. Dang, lots of unhappy people and reviews. I couldnt believe it! How could they fall apart that fast? They had the best staff and the greatest doctors AND the waiting room and the store in general just ROCKS! I decided to go with my gut and I scheduled my appointment anyway.I got all my records together, grabbed my Nutritional Assistance paperwork and got there on-time at 10 AM. I signed in and started making myself a cup of coffee. I just sat down when she called my name. I saw the doctor and she was super great, real fun to chat with and it seemed to me that she was happy to be there. She took some notes, gave me the medical once-over; pulse and blood pressure, stuff like that, and I was sent back up front.They copied some of my papers and took my picture. I paid what I owed ($174) used my debit card and I WAS DONE! When I got in the truck and looked at the clock....it was 10:28 am. HA! Twenty Eight minutes and I was out the door! I couldnt believe it. This place is doing something right. Plus, every person I spoke with was friendly and had a smile on their face. Im not sure it could have went any better. Yes, I got there on time and I was the second person through the door but there were several people in line behind me and the staff got super busy....super fast but they handled it like Machines with Smiles LOL I left with a good feeling about my visit.I even forgot my receipt and when I emailed and ask if they could send it to me, I had it emailed in just a few minutes. Keep it up Tumbleweed. I promise I wont read those stupid online comments anymore. Im sticking to what I know to be true.

When I did not get a verification email from the state of Arizona about my application I found out that whomever processed my application got my email address wrong. Now the state sent my verification email, and who knows what personal information included, to an email address of some perfect stranger. I called Tumbleweeds and was told that my 1 looked like a 2 on my application but they managed to send their receipt for their fee to the correct address. But not the information sent to the state. They offered no solutions, such as contacting the state themselves, to make sure it was corrected. Now, in their defense, I did tell them that I told the state the correct info but that still does not excuse such a mistake. Check all paperwork before finalizing with them. Otherwise, the experience was fast, friendly, and easy.Response to their response: When I called to explain the situation I was given a registration number for the state that was off one digit. Too many 0s. When I went on the website given me by the employee it said the number was invalid. Stop making excuses for the mistakes made by your own employees, blaming the customers (never a good idea in business), and get it right the first time.

Great, but pricey. The price is an Arizona-wide issue, they price like the rest of the area but $300 total for a prescription is a steep price, no one can argue with that. Tumbleweeds made me feel not as bad about spending so much. The doctors are all well informed and actually sit and hear out all your concerns and have recommendations and advice- theyre not like the janky California weed doctors Im used to. The front desk is very polite and they made sure I looked nice on my medical recommendation!

I felt right at home there the minute I walked in! The staff was very friendly, patient, and efficient. Dr Reilly was professional and empathetic. I’m a retired RN so I am picky about doctors, but I was very impressed with him. I recommend this clinic highly!

Went with the hubby to get certified and had to take along one of the kiddos. The parking in front was all taken up so we had to park next door, but it was okay.We walked in and sat in one of the waiting rooms. It was clean and there was a lot of literature to review. There was a small television that had an episode about cooking marijuana infused dishes. We also noted that there was this separate waiting area without the television that was more low-key on the other side of the glassware.The people at the front desk assisted my husband. He had an appointment but there was two people there they were walk-ins. They gave him a one sheet paper to fill out which was pretty refreshing because he didnt come with any other medical records, one page is totally awesome other places should adopt that. After about a 30 minute wait Dr. Margo came out and got him. The exam itself was about 25 minutes, he came out paid the $50 and made a second appointment. Of course, upon us leaving and getting in the car I thoroughly interrogated him. He reported that the doctor obtained his vitals and also went through the one-page questionnaire he filled out as well as completed physical diagnistic tests on him to confirm the legitimacy of his concerns.All in all, I have to report we had a pleasant experience, nobody complained about a kid who couldnt sit still and would not be quiet.According to their brochure inside without medical records the doctor can evaluate you for $50 and they can return within 48 hours for the rest of the certification process for an additional $270 or a discounted rate if you receive SNAP a.k.a food stamps and can provide proof.

My visits were phenomenal with a very friendly and most helpful staff. All questions I had were answered with respect just as I was treated with the respect we all want and deserve. Im glad this place was recommended to me and from my experience, I would highly recommend this place to others.

Had my card for 5 years now and was referred to Tumbelweeds when my clinic closed. Just got off the phone with Alex, who was useless, and the owner Kim. They have done nothing with my renewal application, that I paid them to process, from the 18th of June? Go ANYWHERE but here. Terrible patient service and unintelligible BS from Alex.

ETA:In response to the business response, what y’all could do to help would’ve been answering your business phone at 11a on a wkday, clear the full mailbox or somehow make 2 way communication possible. This is the 3rd time I had to renew my card& the last 2 I gave y’all my business but the phone/ issue triggered me to remember the lost documents, misinformation & non competitive pricing.

Tumbleweeds staff was amazing! Ive never used any marijuana based products before and the patient and friendly staff took care of everything from start to finish! Just bring in your last 12 months medical records an AZ ID and making an appointment helps the process along as well.I was in and out in one hour and the professional and courteous staff kept the coffee and friendly banter going. Any questions I had were thoroughly answered and they even gave me great tips on how I would best use their products.

Been to tumbleweeds health center twice now, once last year for my initial certification, and once this morning for a recertification. Both times went perfectly. The staff at the front counter were extremely friendly and the doctors on site are awesome. No uncomfortable doctors office vibe, and a bunch of sweet glass and accessories to check out while you wait. 10 out of 10 definitely would recommend

Complicated review because on one hand the service is lovely on the other hand they did not process my paperwork for my renewal for 10 full days. My appointment was 5 days before it expired on a weekday. This was not 48 max hours. So amidst all the lovely help Juliana gave me to obtain meds, (none of which helped) , I will be left without for 2 more weeks. I do not feel like they took the effort to submit my paperwork in time at all. They said there was a back rush -but I am positive that not all people had 5 days left on their expiration. I waited because of the 2 year renewal but seriously?? I gave you 5 days to submit my paperwork none of which was given priority due to my dates.

They had me in and out of both appointments in an hour, probably less.After that, just my experince, it varies, got my card in only a few days. 🙂Will DEFINATLY be back here to get renewed. Thank you all so so much 💙

I love this place!I went here and got my first approval in October 2013. they were North East of Broadway and Williams, and they took great care of me. I have went to Tumbleweeds ever since.the people are polite and professional.The doctors really know what they are doing they actually talk to you and get to know what is going on in your health and explain there are lots of ways to take your medicine than just smoking.Cant imagine a place better than this.

This place has the worst customer service ever I came for my certification so polls the Godding supposed to wait 2 weeks to get it in the mail the 2 weeks past never got it in the mail because they forgot to make a copy of my driver license and now I have to wait another 2 weeks to get my certification in the mail And the girl tried to tell me on the front desk that Im lying that they did not drop the ball on copying my driver license who drew a copy is your driver laces me or do they do they do because I dont work there Im not the employee Im not the secretary Im not the front desk person And then you go and ask for your money back to try to go somewhere else and get better service and they say they will not give you your money back

I went on November 27 to get my medical card. When I went to pay I showed them my snap card and ended up paying the $174. Plus $25.00 for a purchase. Signed to authorized the amount and went home.Two hours later Tumbleweeds charged my card another $365. Without my authorization!!!If they dont make this right I will be filing fraud charges with my bank. Someone obviously got a hold of my credit card number and stole almost $400. From me! I am angry! So totally they ended up charging me over $500 for my card. On their web site its $174. For snap card holders. Without the snap card its $249.I would honestly like to know why they charged my credit card another $360. That to me is unethical and stealing from me. That money was for Christmas!

STAY AWAY. I want to say they are incompetent but I believe they are deliberate in their “mistakes”. Places of business need to be careful these days complaints can be made for everyone to see. Patterns emerge and you can be called out to the proper authorities. This place likes to mess peoples medical records up and then blame them for it. They told me they couldn’t read my hand writing Even though I went over all the info with them and if they were so unsure why not contact me to confirm instead of sending false medical records. They got both my email and home address wrong and blamed me even though they had been sending me recipes and surveys to my correct address. When it came down to important info they had to send to state they deliberately gave them a different address than the one they had already been contacting me with. Human error is no excuse this is medical information you are altering. Hopefully the incorrect email address that all my info is being sent to doesn’t have a devious person attached to it. These people are no good stay away unless you want problems.

I recently moved here to Arizona from NH. Any medical records i have will be from my Physician and Therapist in NH. Im having a difficult time finding a doctor here in Arizona. I was diagnosed with PTSD 7 years ago. Do I need medical records from a doctor here in Arizona or will the records I have from NH be sufficient? Please advice.The 3 stars was not meant to be disrespectful honestly it was not. Im so sorry you took it that way.

Always a pleasure to deal with the staff and docs...BUT...I felt a RIPPED (no pun intended) when, a month after MY card was renewed, you guys offered 2 years for the price of one, once for Xmas then for New Years...just sayin...I thought you should have offered it to REGULARS TOO (I went there for 3 years to get my card). You are interested in pulling in NEW CLIENTS and not OLD ONE´S? So loyalty doesn´t mean anything to you? OK then...I WILL GO ELSEWHERE NEXT RENEWAL TIME AND STOP REFERRING YOU TO FRIENDS. You obviously dont need repeat business, just new business. Typical. Bad business and bad form guys you really disappointed me and lost me, forever. After-all there are dozens of other places.

The staff was very friendly. Just one thing set me back and upset me pretty bad is how they got my email wrong. Not only did i tell them there was an error and my girlfriend was there watching as wellI called back a few days later to check they still hadnt changed it. They said they would change it. By the time i had talked with the state they say they STILL HADNT CHANGED IT!So i end up having the state do it. Now it takes even longer for me to get my card! I couldnt be more upset im just trying to be patientThe staff was great but im sorry aboslutely no for me on service

What sets aside Tumbleweeds from other certification centers is it supports local artists, you can volunteer, theres reading material you may not find in your local library, hemp products, and the beautiful fact that all races and all ages come together under one roof to share common ground and that is rare these days. Whats most important is that the people that go there support each other in the cause for alternative medicine. The doctors there are thorough, they have a great bedside manner, and not to mention ethical standards that accentuate their medical board experience. It may take up to an hour for an appointment, it is a doctors office after all..... but every appointment is handled with a strong adherent to the State of Arizona mmj program guidelines. Tumbleweeds will be straightforward as to what is needed and required by the state of Arizona for a patient to qualify for the medical marijuana program. Tumbleweeds has grown as a company and pushes forward no matter what scrutiny they come upon. Following the rules to keep the medical marijuana program up and running is definitely not a scam.

Ive never been treated so unprofessional by a so called doctor. Tumbleweeds is far from being a medical office. I am a Native American aginst eugenics also a very big believer in alternative healing. When I spoke with the doctor about these issues he became very rude and disrespectful. After being called a drug addict and getting lectured for my beliefs in alternative healing. I had to get up and walk out. The doctor himself looked like a recovering addict. I thought he was a true alternative doctor here to actually help, I was dead wrong. This guy has one agenda and that is money.What makes me the most angry is how he tried to downplay the situation by attempting to bribe me with my certification. I dont appreciate the way he got off on the little bit of power he had. I felt like a child while he dangled my certification over my head holding it for ransom. I wouldnt go here unless you enjoy being treated like a child.Tumbleweeds is basically a smoke shop that is allowed to hand out certifications. I would not recommend this place no matter how cheap their prices are. Do you self a favor and pay for quality.

Was not advised properly on what to do with portal, after that situation was resolved they sent the wrong picture. So now I will be waiting another 5 to 7 days for a new card. How can you get the picture wrong your drivers license picture is in same file? Very disappointed just saying

This place was awesome! small but very clean convenient and the staff was friendly fast and very accommodating the doc is a cool guy its very quick i was in and out I think in 30 or 40 mins bring your paper work it makes it easier on them and faster for you Thank you tumbleweeds you guys are great!

Doctor is great most of the front desk staff is with the exception of julianna she needs to learn how to communicate properly with customers and be much more organized would have gotten five stars if not for her

I started my application in October after learning medical marijuana could help me live longer with my terminal illness.The waiting room was nice. The second Dr. I saw was caring and helpful. The reason for my 2 stars is for the clerical errors. The young lady behind the desk apparently has a hard time with a cursive k as well as o and a and numbers. I went in to get it all fixed. I was assured in the office as well as over the phone that my email, phone number, and address were updated and fixed. Not so, I called the state and it was finally approved, but, sent to my old address. This process that is supposed to be made easy, was far to strrssful through this company! The previous replies of we are just human are unacceptable as we are also humans suffering, and a true apology would be one explaining how you would fix the problem!

From the moment i walked in i felt comfortable and welcome. The staff was very nice and helpful along with the doctor and examination process. Would not go anywhere else. 5 STARS!

This place is amazing. They listen to you and treat you with care and compation. They were so good to me that I didnt even use my EBT discount because they treated me so well I WANTED to pay the full price. 2 doctors appointments now Im certified. Thank you tubleweeds. Cant believe the negative reviews. Did not come into contact with ANY problems.

Had a very good experience with Tumbleweed called Adam and he explained all the information I needed to bring in. When I arrived the employees were very polite and worked in a timely fashion to provide you the service that you need I would highly recommend them.

If there was a way to rate 0 stars I would absolutely do so. I came here to get my card for the first time, I thought they were great back then. So I decided to come back and do my re cert here. Seeing as how I don’t have current medical records I had to schedule an evaluation appointment first. No big deal. I go on their website, schedule my appointment and before assuming everything is good I call to make sure. The lady tells me, there’s no appointment times available for that day, so I ask why does it show online that there is some available? She proceeds to tell me there’s nothing available to schedule for another day. Fine. Schedule online AGAIN for today at 1:10. Call them to confirm, the chick tells me AGAIN that there are no appointments available that I would need to come in as a walk in, but not to be worried because they don’t make their walk ins wait for more then an hour. So I ask once more, why does the website show different information then what you guys are stating? She claims that their online system isn’t working with their in house system, but they’re “working on it”. So I come in as a walk in, it’s not busy only two people ahead of me. Those two people get called. More people start filing in, all of which apparently have appointments since they’re all getting called. Over an hour passes by, I haven’t been called. I walk up to the front desk to ask how many people ahead of me. At first she can’t n find my clipboard , although it’s right in front of her. She then tells me there’s 4 more people ahead of me at this point, and they’ll get me in when they can. That their appointments take priority and the walk ins have to wait for ALL appointments. So they could just have you sitting there for hours upon hours not giving a damn about a “walk in” because appointments come first. They don’t even attempt to fit in walk ins between appointments because even when you schedule an appointment they’re never on time anyways. The rude, ignorant chick in the back wanted to pipe up and change her wording about how she did tell me they “try” not to make walk ins wait for more then an hour. Worst customer service not only as a company but in house as well. Walk ins are just as important as appointments, so if you’re gonna make walkins wait all day, then maybe you guys should stop allowing them. Meanwhile, I called Dr. Refferalz before taking my card back from these idiots, and they loved to hear that I would be taking my business there, because even though they stated appointments are priority there as well, they fit walkins between appointments, like it should be done. Tumbleweeds, you deserve to go out of business, there’s several reviews on here about the same issues with incompetent people, and clearly the owner, and manager don’t care to take the steps needed to correct what serveral people have complaints about.
