Terrible, unorganized! No one knows whats going on. Do not recommend. Had to call to remind them we were waiting in the car because they forgot about us. I will never go back if this same staff is working. Blew us off as having mono when in fact had to go again to another clinic and he has a severe sinus infection! Unbelievable medical care!

Waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and over an hour in a room just waiting to be seen. Completely unprofessional. Kept cutting me off while I was trying to explain what was even wrong with me in the first place, told me my face wasnt swollen when everyone else around me is asking what happened because of how swollen my face. Looked inside my mouth for less than a second before saying eh I dont know told me I was taking too much ibuprofen for my pain relief and then proceeded to tell me to continue taking ibuprofen. This used to be an amazing facility but has gone way down since being taken over by the new owners.everyone lacks bedside manner and I certainly will not be going back and will recommend the same for everyone I know.

No ServiceScheduled an appointment with urgent care for a COVID test to try and avoid missing more work than necessary. Called to tell them I had arrived for my appointment and was told I’d be brought in when the waiting room was clear. An hour and fifteen minutes later here I am, still outside in my vehicle, hot, not feeling good and 30 weeks pregnant. Might I suggest that Tammy, who I spoke to on the phone, find another line of work, since people bother her so badly she can’t even fake being nice?

Went in for urgent care to get a prescription of antibiotics and to see if I had strep. Already had prior covid test done, came back negative. Charged for 135 dollar copay up front and only tested for covid and gave a list for home remedies. Was going to ask attending nurse for possible prescription but she ran off before I had a chance to ask. Would not recommend to anyone, especially if you do not carry insurance.

I chose this location because, at the time of my post, it was the highest rated immediate care in Topeka. My husbands extreme acute foot pain we suspected was either gout or a stress fracture from something less than a week ago. Our waiting room time today was an hour and a half, but better than the ER maybe. When we got into the room, my husband listed off the handful of medications he’s on for his heart, post heart attack, to the nurse. The nurse practitioner thoroughly assessed his foot, agreed with the possibility of gout or a stress fracture, and said she would take a couple of X-rays to see if it showed anything. Post X-ray, no signs of major fracture but possible other abnormalities. It was at this time that she tells us we would need an MRI from his PCP in order to determine a stress fracture, or to test for gout. She prescribed pain medication. Before we left, my husband asked the nurse if the pain medication prescribed would interact with his current meds. She replied, “Our providers are pretty good about checking those things but ask the pharmacist too.” Which we did. And his cardiologist. And his PCP. They all said don’t take what she prescribed. So my husband called her back and asked for something else. She told him no one listed certain meds on his chart and she couldn’t give him any anti-inflammatory that his doctors would allow. So he asked for another kind of pain management. She said she could only prescribe NSAIDS so no, and all he could do was get rest, drink lots of fluids, and ice it until his appointment with his PCP in two weeks.Question 1: Why did you take X-rays for conditions that wouldn’t show up on an X-ray? We’re not made of money.Question 2: If you didn’t have the ability to determine diagnoses of suspected stress fracture or gout, why didn’t you just tell us that so we could pay someone else to do that?Question 3: Surely you could have prescribed my husband any of the other pain medications the Mayo Clinic lists for this condition that do not interact with his other medications.A Jeannette Miller was the name on his prescription bottle. Not sure if this was the APRN/nurse practitioner who screwed everything up. We won’t be going there again. Kind enough people but we didn’t go there for kindness. We went there for the oath people take in those positions to care for people.

If you want to waste your time and not be seen (even WITH AN APPPOINTMENT) then go there... you wont be disappointed, but if you actually want to be seen and especially at your SCHEDULED appointment time then dont go here.

I wish I could give lower than 1 star . They were fast , got me right in . The physicians assistant was the problem, thinks she knows it all and wouldn’t even listen to me ! I’ve got a bladder infection and she thinks it’s something else , I took the last 2 antibiotics from home and it was getting better, she says I have to wait til test results are in 2+days and I’m in so much pain I could die ! I don’t want pain meds I need antibiotics, I’ve called 4 times now keep getting the test result isn’t back , the pharmacy will be closed by the time they get them back , then another night of suffering! I’ll NEVER go back here , if I live thru this ! I’ll probably go wait for hours at the emergency room , which I tried to avoid since COVID-19 and I have COPD .

Horrible wait time. But was worth the wait. Sleep the first night on over the counter drugs. The lady PA is straight up truthful, and honest St.Francis is lucky to have her! Patience like myself appreciates those kind of professionals.. thanks Daniel.

I have been seeing a PA here for a couple of years and she is great. I feel she is genuinely interested in my health. The front desk staff is always courteous, professional and helpful. I rarely have a hard time getting an appointment at my preferred times. The lab staff is professional and it normally takes on stick to get the blood. The referral process is typically pretty smooth. There have been times when I have had to wait, but not an extended period. Overall, the is the best primary care I have received in 20 odd some years I have resided in Topeka.

This place is horrible. Most disrespectful nurses Ive ever dealt with. They tell you to call 3 days before a medication runs out to get it refilled, you literally spend 30min on hold trying to talk to someone...thats if you dont get hung up on. It takes the doctor 2 days to even sign the prescription, then you have to go pick up the paper and turn it in to your pharmacy. All in all the doctors are good to their patients but the nurses that answer the calls are super rude and tell you incorrect information about your medical care. And if you happen to complain about their behavior they get you banned from the clinic saying you have been abusive towards the staff and disrespectful to them because you called them out on the poor way they handle things. Definitely look everywhere else for a primary physician before going to this circus.

Staff are extremely friendly. I feel as if doctors listen to me compared to other doctor offices I have visited in the past. Its super easy to schedule an appointment. And if youre a new patient, you dont have to wait an extremely long time to get in. I highly recommend this Doctor office.

Only prescribed enough pain meds for 1 and a half days. Now Im sitting here in pain with no solution due to no one thinking about the pain Im in. The first time I went i was misdiagnosed. Lived w the pain for 4 days and now Im back in square one. Dr. Crystal is great but the office policy to not assist w pain refills after hours is ridiculous.
