I rarely, if ever, write reviews but I couldn’t help myself because they really deserve it. Jackson Dental is hands down the best dentist in the Tampa Bay Area. I was very particular with what I was looking for in my dentistry work and Dr. Jackson was/is always so patient with me, always knew exactly what I was looking for in cosmetic dentistry without me even having to tell him, very up to date with technology and innovative work; he gave me the smile that I truly wanted my whole life. The staff there as a whole is always so welcoming and friendly! Also, never a long wait or even a wait at all! I have really never seen a business run so smoothly and effortlessly. On top of that the office is absolutely gorgeous, who knew a dentist office could look so good?? This is really only touching the surface, I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things this office has to offer. if you’re thinking about going there, do not hesitate and do yourself a favor by experiencing what it means to be a patient for Jackson Dental for yourself because you will not regret it!

The best experience I have ever had at any medical office ever. Staff is incredibly friendly, fun and knowledgable. They took the time to go over my dental information thoroughly. I never felt like a number, I was never rushed or treated like I didnt know anything because I am not medical professional. The staff really made the entire experience enjoyable and I am looking forward to my next visit.

I have been to my share of dentists and the care is always usually the same ho hum and I can never remember anyones name and people do not seem to introduce themselves at all. That is NOT the case with Jackson Dental. EVERYONE is polite and attentive. They were prepared and expecting me, introduced themselves, and walked me through the entire process making sure I was comfortable and understood everything. Best of all I KNOW what to expect at my future appointments because they developed short and long term goals.The only little ding that would cause me to dock half a star is that the youngest they take is 16 and my son will be 15 🙁 and this is the kind of care he needs. Were both ready to ditch the patronizing care of the baby dentist!And where they can improve (but not gonna knock a star) is: 1. Give Dr. Jackson a chill pill or some how siphon some of that energy! Whew, never met a faster talker that identified as male! But he was great, funny, and made me feel comfortable.2. Directions to the office are pretty clear but for us visual people a little diagram or signs in the building would be helpful.3. Finish that renovation! 😂 i am sure the staff is saying the same thing, and I am sure it will be awesome.Thank you for amazing service and working with me where I am! From Steven who stood to greet me (that was top class there) to Normas photo work, and Aprils excellent cleaning and exam, everyone went above and beyond in my opinion.

Great operation , great results. Staff is friendly and informative. Makes the dreaded dentist appointment a nice break from work. Hattie could do stand up and April knows every song that comes on the radio.Highly recommend.

Friendly, helpful and innovative. Usually you have to wait weeks for a permanent crown but they were able to create one for me in about an hour! They use cutting edge technology, spend time talking you through everything and they have great music pumping! I am so thankful my friend referred me to Dr. Sara and I highly recommend her.

Not at all impressed. I called this afternoon to schedule a new patient visit. Not only do their new hours not match what is listed online for their business, their front desk staff did not even know them! Then I was told that they do not book new patient exams with same day cleanings (LOL), and that the earliest I could have both together would be April 2022 -- a full 7 months away! This place is a joke.

As self-proclaimed “dental nerds”, the staff stays up-to-date with new techniques and works to master those skills and technologies. I had my first dental cleaning at Jackson today and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous because I was very overdue for a cleaning (thanks COVID). Thanks to April, this was the easiest, most comfortable, and most thorough dental cleaning I have ever had. April was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Would definitely recommend!

I am a brand new patient to Jackson Dental. I have to say. I have never in my life (Im 55) been given the most comprehensive x-rays of my teeth like was done in the office today. I am 60 something years old. I have literally spent many many hours in dentist chairs. My experience today at Dr. Jackson’s office was truly amazing. After he numbed me which I felt Very little of if I felt it at all. He worked on me for an hour and a half straight. The technology that they used to keep your mouth open so your jaw did not get sore was amazing. I literally fell asleep at one point while he was working on my teeth. I can honestly say I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson’s office to anyone and say he’s probably one of the best dentist I’ve ever visited.Thank you Dr Jackson and team!!!

Im a new patient at this office and I LOVE IT! Everyone Ive encountered from the front desk all the way to Dr. Jackson has been super friendly, comforting, and knowledgeable. I went in for a routine cleaning knowing I needed a root canal/crown, and wanted to discuss Invisalign......it was full speed ahead. I had everything done INCLUDING my 1st tray of Invisalign in EXACTLY 1 month! Highly recommend this office.

Literally the best. Ive had major dental issues my whole life due to growing up in foster care, depression medication causing dry mouth and grinding. Other dentists have embarrassed me for the work I needed to have done. Visiting the dentist used to be a painful experience. Not with Dr. Jackson. His positive vibe is infectious. The entire staff is professional, efficient and above par. The technology he uses is cutting edge. He has everything available on the market in office. I wont say I love going to the dentist, but I no longer have to take medication before my appointment. And I do love seeing everyone at Jackson dental. Seriously. (P.S. Ive moved to Maryland and still fly to Tampa for appointments.)

Highly recommend Jackson Dental. Staff is nice. Office is very professional and organized. Dental staff do great work on cleanings and fillings and are very knowledgeable. Top notch equipment. Nice bonus is that their dental rooms have a big glass window that looks out into Downtown Tampa. Office is located on the 2nd floor of what’s currently known as the BOA building.

Needless to say we have been with Dr Jackson for quite a few years now. We followed him from his previous practice in new Tampa because we thought and continue to think that he is the best dentist in town not only is he the best but his staff is extraordinary. They are so welcoming and make you feel comfortable. The staff explains things in a clear manner and they are always looking out for your best interest! I strongly recommend Dr Jackson’s practice.

I have had a long history with Dr Jackson and his team. I have spent many hours getting all of my teeth replaced. I can say without a doubt that Dr Jackson and his team are the most professional, cleanest most caring dentist office in Tampa. They have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable even when I was not always the best patient. He was always there to make sure my teeth were perfect. My experience was great started out with Troy he was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and patient with me i had a lot of questions. Dr.Sara was great too! Ive had a LOT of Dental work in my life so I am a good judge of competent Dentists and today was my first visit at Jackson Dental. Dr. Phelps was extremely good at explaining my options and replacing a failing crown. This was the first time in my life I was able to get a crown milled and replaced in only ONE visit! So happy to have found such a great practice, always overwhelming finding new providers when you move. I appreciate that they offer so many services! I had booked an appointment a month out and they called to offer me an earlier appointment after a cancellation. The staff is amazing, so welcoming, knowledgeable and transparent. Modern equipment and comfortable office, plus they were very mindful of operating during the tricky times of COVID. They will also cover your parking which is great for a downtown office!

You know those offices with tons of magazines, stiff back chairs, and some daytime talk show host on the TV complaining about their drama in life who is trying to get you anxious before going into a dental chair!..Jackson Dental office is not that way at all! Very comfortable with nice chairs to relax in with refreshments.Has the same feel as a living room in your own home.Staff is always friendly and very professional. Procedure rooms are very clean and no archaic instruments coming at your face. Brittany was also very helpful in returning phone calls with questions and trying to get you in as soon as she could, so amazing. Ive been seeing Dr. Jackson since I moved to Tampa 6 years ago. These doctors and all the staff are great! Prefossional, upbeat, caring, super sanitary before and extra extra now, up to date on all technology and procedures. I recommend him to all my family, friends and co-workers. If you want someone great in the downtown area please check him out. Walking distance to most businesses and parking in the garage and street parking. I really like these guys and gals. 👍👍👍👍👍

It’s difficult to find a great dentist but we finally found ours. I was able to get a same day crown and next day cleaning. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and everything was clean.

Very professional and accommodating to offer accelerated appointments due to cancellations. Very efficient in the office and using high tech, including 3D teeth imaging. They can also create crowns on location in short time that were a perfect fit the first time.

Such a beautiful and clean office. Staff is very friendly and my hygienist gave me so many good tips I have never heard before. They are also taking Covid precautions very seriously so I felt comfortable.

New to Tampa and I needed a broken crown replaced. Without knowing anyone here, I trusted the Yelp reviews and chose Jackson Dental. WOW!! It was the best dental experience I have ever had! All of the staff is so warm and genuinely friendly! They are also so great at what they do - I was 100% comfortable throughout the entire procedure! My previous dentist of 20 years (in Georgia) could learn a lot from this practice!

I truly did not care to go to dentists, but am very happy I chose this place. Had to get a crown placed for a deep cavity and it was molded and set all in the same visit due to in house tech. I have a longstanding fear of dentist offices. I had the most wonderful experience with Jackson Dental. All of the staff were so sweet and so accommodating. Dr. Geoff Jackson is so kind and very comforting to his patients. And very funny too which I very much appreciated. Troy, one of the dental assistants is wonderful! He made sure I was comfortable and was very sweet and attentive. I cannot say enough about my experience. Wonderful staff! If you have a fear of dentists like me, this office will help you overcome all of that.

I was very apprehensive when I walked into Jackson Dental because I have self-diagnosed dentist-induced anxiety. I saw Dr. Phelps for 2 fillings and she is incredible! She took so much time to explain everything and set me at ease. Dr. Phelps has the light touch of a literal angel and I couldn’t feel a thing during the procedure or after. She’s the only person who I will ever want to scrape and drill and polish my teeth. She’s just really really really good at her job. I honestly almost had fun at the dentist thanks to Dr. Phelps and her team. Also, the super kind person at the front desk went through every single pricing option for future procedures so I could know what I was going to be paying at future appointments! Overall a great experience and if you’re even a little apprehensive about booking, meet Dr. Phelps once and you will never be nervous about your annual exam again!

Most professional and prompt dental office I’ve ever visited (and I’ve visited many throughout my many relocations). All staff was very friendly and informative. Their use of technology provided me education about the overall health of my teeth and gums like nothing I’ve experienced before. This was my first visit and I can feel assured all my future visits will be just as positive. I would recommend to anyone needing a new dental office.

LOVE coming here. I get nervous to go because I do not like the noises or smells of the dentist but always so relaxed with them. Bianca is myHygenist and I feel like we talk about anything and everything like I’ve known her my whole life. She’s the best and always have a great experience with Jackson dental!

Dr. Sheffield, and the staff are great. made me feel comfortable and at easy. Recommend this office.

I do not recommend this dentist!Very poor customer care.I showed up at 2:45pm for my 3pm appointment today, October 7th. They would not see me because they were unable to reach me to confirm my appointment. They claim they text messaged me on October 5th to confirm the appointment but I never received a text; I even showed them my phone to prove this.I made the appointment and did not cancel. I kept my end of the deal; in fact, I showed up 15 minutes early. They did not honor my appointment or stay true to their word. They put another patient in my time slot and did not make an effort to contact me to tell me the appointment was canceled.As I stand here at the reception desk, The receptionist and Bri said the most they can offer is to reschedule me. As if it is no big deal for me to miss work or rearrange my schedule.How incredibly inconvenient and non-customer service friendly.Update:Oh yes, I did return another day, a week later, for my appointment. This was only because I didnt have time to find a new dentist. I am still disgusted by Jackson dentals customer service. Might I add that you made zero attempt to apologize or make up your error to me. Yet another example of poor customer service!I am even more put off by Jacksons response to my review -- nice strategic move and try to blame this on Covid. Your error had absolutely nothing to do with a Covid survey. You were fearful that i would not show for my appointment and thus you would lose money so you scheduled someone else in my appointment slot and chose to see that person over me, the person with the original appointment. I completed my Covid Survey the day of my rescheduled appointment, in the office. Unfortunately for you, I see right through your marketing tactics. I hope readers see through it too.

I hate going to the dentist but this place is one of the best, most professional and well run dental offices I have ever been to. The staff is amazing and my dentist Sara Sheffield is one of the best! I am extremely happy and highly recommend them.

The best staff and doctors and hygienists ever! The most pleasant folks, kind, caring and totally efficient, and the office is so, so nice!! What a lovely, excellent place to go for dental health care. Dr. Jackson is outstanding! So many aspects of dental care in my experiences I thought were just how it is until I became a patient at Jackson Dental - from cleaning to getting a crown to the efficient and kind way of managing my financial responsibility - all extraordinary. I was there yesterday for two crowns with Dr. Jackson and it was the best experience - crown preps and then they make the crowns there in their lab in the office, and I left with the two best crowns Ive had to date! No temporaries and coming back later - all done in a few hours total!

I know the dentist can scare a lot of people, but everyone there is extremely welcoming and they make you feel so comfortable from start to finish!

New Patient:Professional, Friendly, Caring and Quick. Convenience is key for me. I work in the Bank of America Plaza so this is a plus! The professionalism and knowledge that Dr. Jackson holds is up to par and outstanding. He answered all of my concerns and worries. His staff explained everything from the moment I arrived, up until I left. The staff also explained everything my insurance covers and anything I would need to pay out of pocket. I am excited to begin a new journey with Jackson Dental to get my health in my teeth/gums restored. Thank you!
