If you need epi-pens or inhalers quickly, be prepared to wait a week.It is extremely hard to get refills or communicate with anyone in the office. When you call, your only option is to leave a voicemail. I have left voicemails and it is usually several days later if you even get a call back.Allergy medications are emergent and should not be delayed due to the bureaucratic/slow processes of this office. You should be able to call, “speak to an actual human, get a refill electronically,” and be on your way. Instead, it will take hours out of your time calling and trying to coordinate something so simple with this place.I have no qualms with Dr. Lockey, but his expertise does not outweigh the fact that this place is in need of new/more efficient management. In 2021, Patient-centered reigns supreme, this office follows an older model where you’re expected to adjust your life to the provider. Good luck

A Good friend of mine referred me to Dr Lockey For my wife’s allergic reactions. We’ve seen him several times now and we are just frustrated because we are getting no where. I feel like he rushes through the appointments and doesn’t really give you a chance to explain your concerns. I just want to figure out what is wrong with my wife. Some answers would be nice. Looking for another dr. once again.

Dr. Lockey is an excellent physician with years of progressive experience. He took the time to understand, assess and successfully treat my asthma problems. As a result, I am now back to running each morning before leaving for work and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend Dr. Lockey!

I went for generalized urticaria and rash that was unrelieved for 4 months. He prescribed me the same exact medication regimen as my husband who went a couple of years before for angioedema (that he was not able to determine the cause). I went to see him twice and without running any tests (said that lab works was not necessary), told me that It will go away on its own.. I was losing sleep because of the itch! I went to a different allergist and he was able to diagnose me in just 1 visit. He is very nice, but nice is not what I was seeing for.

Love this doc. Others had given up on me and told me that I was out of options. Dr. Locket took an aggressive approach and now I walk 4 miles per day.

Dr Lockey has been treating me for many years. I couldnt be more pleased with the care Ive received from him, his partner physicians, and his staff.Dr Lockey found an innovative way of treating my severe dust mites allergies that gave me back a normal life. My doctors before him where successful in doing that.Dr Lockey doesnt just throw meds at my chronic bronchitis. Hes careful to make sure Im on the meds on need and not on any I dont.Prior to becoming Dr Lockeys patient, doctors quickly wrote a script for steroids and antibiotics at the first sign of bronchitis or even the resemblance of it. Because of this, by the time I was in my forties, I had been given far more steroids than one person should have taken in their entire lifetime. Now, Dr Lockey is challenged to treat my chronic bronchitis without the use of steroids, unless my condition becomes severe. Dispute the challenges, he always finds a way to successfully treat my bronchitis.Dr Lockey is an old school doctor who stays current on the latest medical information. He has to; hes also a well respected professor at USFs College of Medicine.
