Dr. Shao has created a holistic healing experience, she addresses mind, body and spirit and helps you balance completely. After my first visit I recommended her to my entire family and we all are going to see her regularly. She is very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate, highly recommended! I went to Dr. Shao for issues with high triglycerides and cholesterol levels. Her six treatments over a period of about 2 months dropped my triglycerides from 189 to 116, LDL from 133 to 115, overall cholesterol from 223 to 194. Additionally, my AIC went from 7.2 to 6.4. Her dietary recommendations, herbal supplement, additional exercise, along with the treatments, worked wonders. No statins or metformin for me.!!!

The 1st time I made an appointment, I had food poisoning (due to eating expired yogurt). I had lost 8lbs in 3 days. My first visit to Dr. Shao was awesome I never did acupuncture before. I was very pleased with the results. I went to Dr. Shao because I feel eastern and western medication makes you sicker so by I love taking my herbal vitamins I just figured why not a herbal doctor well Dr. Shao is it. This was my first session. I actually can say I enjoyed going to the doctor I went to her because my blood pressure was high she gave me medication to take for it as well as shakes for losing weight cant wait to see results. Dr Shao has truly been a blessing to me. I am PAIN FREE from lumbar back pain and have gotten my mobility back. Dr Shao is very knowledgeable and overall AMAZING(gifted hands). Sam is the sweetest and has the BEST customer service. You will not be disappointed if you visit there office.

Went for smoking cessation. I attended 4 visits but didnt smoke after the first visit. I did not feel nicotine withdrawals but of course had to break the habit of habit. Shao was very nice and made you feel relaxed. She uses heat lamps which was a pleasant surprise.

Over the years she has treated me for many things, including really bad sports injuries.. I relocated to another city in Florida a few years ago. Moved here from SC in late February of 2018. Found Dr. Shao on Google and made an appointment. My wife has Lyme Disease and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. She was seeing acupuncturist in Charleston, SC for about 9months. He helped her be able to walk again after 10 years of being bed ridden, so we are firm believers in acupuncture. Dr. Shao has been even better! I have been coming to Dr. Shao for a number of years now, as needed. She helps where western medicine begins to fail. Better living through chemistry, or surgery is not always the best answer. What we eat is a major concern and it shows up as dysfunction in the body. She can address root causes for issues. You will come away feeling better. You will return for tune ups, trust me to stay healthy.

Love how easy it is to make an appointment and how effective the treatments are. I’ve gone for lower back pain, endometriosis, and for nausea. If you’re skeptical just give it a try and let your body tell you if it works. I was skeptical at first and it took two - three times before I was convinced it was working. I must admit what made me go was I was fed up with the pain I decided to stop ignoring the friends who recommended accupuncture. Now if I miss an appointment, my body will remind me “it’s time to go back!”

I absolutely love Dr Shao and Sam, they have been a Godsend to me. I started going for endometriosis and digestive problems, and have seen a huge difference. But totally had an unexpected result arise after the first treatment. I had torn a tendon im my foot several years ago and could no longer run, tried physical therapy, kinda helped, but really only got mt to .7 miles before pain would set in. I also had horrible ankle pain nightly. Literally after the first treatment i noticed the 2nd night the ankle pain was completely gone (and she wasnt evem treating me for that!) And im running my first 5k race in years this weekend! Back to digestive issues , i seriously have no idea how she does what she does during her exams, sometimes i sit there like huhh?? And then bam she calls me out on certain foods she can tell i consumed too much of, like nails it every time. Lol i really dont understand it but thats fine shes delivered on results over and over. Pain relief! - could not walk as I went in & now Im on the road to healthy living.. after 1st visit..

My wife was in a car accident 6 years ago. She suffered from a major neck injury. She couldnt turn and she had serious ear pressure for the last 6 years. She has consulted many physicians and had no progress. She was in despair.Two months ago, after I convinced her to see Dr. Shao. Her life started turning around. After the 1st visit, she can start turning and ear pressure disappeared by 90%. After weekly visit of 2 months, her pain disappeared by 95%.Now, she feels like a superwoman. My husband has suffered with Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia which causes severe daily migraine headaches for more than 30 years. These are my reasons why Dr. Shao is my acupuncturist.I used to work with an Acupuncture, on and off for over ten years, but he got married and moved out of the states.I found an Acupuncturist that was a three hours drive from Tampa. She was good, but I felt things had to be done her way only.One day, I gave into a calling to an acupuncture who was not Dr. Shao. I went with her for almost a year, but then felt off when I needed help with western medicine and on top of a other things.I needed help with medical assistance and called acupunctures with both Western and Eastern medical backgrounds in Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, but only two were willing to help.When I needed any kind of medical guidance, Dr. Shao was available.When I was going through family problems - past and present, which then caused and causes emotional instability, Dr. Shao listened compassionately and gave me acupuncture treatments that helped stabilized it. With acupuncture and seeing a psychologist sure speeds up my emotional recovery.When my foot had a heavy glass dropped on it; I was toughing it out and decided to not tell Dr. Shao about it. In turn had me in an emotional blockage, which for some reason, I finally told her about the accident. The accident caused me some physical restriction that I did not noticed until the end of the treatment.
