I didn’t purchase anything here, but my mom’s reading glasses broke and needed a new screw. I was willing to pay for the repair, but they replaced the screw free of charge and sent me on my way in 10 minutes. Great customer service and friendly. Thank you so much! I plan on bringing my glasses and future needs here.

I have been a customer of the Optical Shop for several years and ran into a situation when my daughter needed 8 days worth of contacts to make it to her next doctor’s appointment. I called the shop, explained my situation and asked to purchase 10 days worth of contacts and was told no. He said I needed to buy a box of 90 contacts. I find that utterly ridiculous and unacceptable when I purchase over $600 of contacts per year. Earlier this year, I called to ask them to put on hold 2 boxes of contacts until the end of the day and was told they couldn’t without a credit card. I gave them my number and when I went to pickup, only 1 box was there, even though they said there were 2. After being a patient of Greenwich Ophthalmology, I guess I will take my business elsewhere!

I have been buying glasses and sunglasses from The Optical Shop for years ... long before they moved to the Stamford location. Im always confident that my latest eye prescription is used for new glasses as their files are connected to all the doctors at Greenwich Ophthalmology. And the staff there makes it so easy to order replacement glasses or sunglasses over the phone when a pair goes missing. The customer service there is outstanding! Just recently I stopped by to have both my glasses and sunglasses refitted. Ethan was incredibly patient, spending at least 15 minutes making sure both pair fit me perfectly. This is definitely the best place to purchase glasses in Greenwich.

This place is truly amazing, really great people. Forst of all the place looks really clean and modern, and well equipped, but the reason I’m writing is that I lost my contacts while traveling and they very patiently worked with my home optical store to find a replacement pair of contacts. Then, even when I Insisted on paying them, they made me take them home for free. They saved my vacation from being a disaster.
