I needed an eye exam quickly because I was running out of contacts. I got an appointment pretty quickly and easily. I went in and was received by welcoming staff. One of the assistants to the doctor was extremely friendly! I was in and out in less that 45 minutes. They printed my prescriptions and did not pressure me to buy glasses/contacts from their store. I would recommend this place.

Having switched from another practice, I have found the treatment, time expended and attention to detail like night and day. While all opthalmology practices test, this practice is time efficient. I have found their physicians caring and willing to address options in a way that a patient can understand.I never feel intimidated nor rushed. As a senior, I appreciate the kindness and skills afforded to me by the entire staff.

The practice is well coordinated and efficient and clean. I felt safe. My doctor was professional and thorough and did take the time to answer all my questions.However, the technician was the low point of my visit. He did not take the time to position me properly, talked to me with his back to me, and redid one test repeatedly to the point that I had spots and headache and neck ache all day.

This was the best ophthalmologist appointment experience I’ve ever had. From the receptionist to the tech to the doctor to the contact specialist, everyone was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. Highly recommend and will definitely go back!

Very happy with Dr. Lindsay Davis - very thoughtful, explained everything I wanted to know, warm & friendly and obviously very experienced in her specialty.Facility is amazing too. However, I could do less with the phone, text and email reminders for my appointment (even AFTER I confirmed!) - it was like an endless barrage 1 week to 3 days to 2 days before the appointment.

Prompt, professional, personable, explained everything clearly. Avery and Dr. Potter are world class professionals and people. Id recommend them to anyone.

Thé only issue was that I signed in at 9:10 AM and by 9:50 AM everyone in the lobby had been called in. I went back to the front desk and in fact, I didn’t even have an appointment that day! They couldn’t have told me that when I checked in? Thankfully they got me a time slot for the next day.

All was great after they figured out they called back the wrong Kim - and when they called Kim to come back I did say my last name as well. So no harm done but somehow this should be addressed. After 3 tests that I then had to re-do (2 of them), we were reviewing my medication and realized I was not that Kim - Oops !!! But I must say this type of error should not happen - a system in place to prevent this is needed. Otherwise love this office.

Dr potter always answers my sons questions fully and makes sure they know what’s going on and why. It puts them at ease

I was having issues with my contacts for a few months so I went to Greenwich Ophthalmology for some relief. Dr. Tsongs compassionate response made me feel safe and understood. He directed me to their contact specialist Joe and he was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this practice for any and all eye needs.

My visit was begun as I had an eye that had become totally bloodied...a monster. Not only did they assure me it would correct itself but insisted I stop using my lenses that I slept in for one week before removing. I left having had several eye exams eliminating any future problems, i.e. glaucoma and with new nightly removable lenses and prescription for eyeglasses. It was an excellent visit!!!

The doctor I visited was top notch and thorough in my eye exam and my eye health. When it came to ordering my contacts this was the major downfall. From calling the optical center the customer service was poor. I had to ask several times to be sent a receipt for my purchase. The representative seemed annoyed that I was making a purchase rather thanbeing helpful. During my contact lens fitting I was told one thing in regards to a rebate on my contact lens purchase and when I actually purchased the contacts I was told another story. When I called to speak with the original person they told me they were too busy and I should read the paper again, and to call someone else. This was a very poor experience.

Appointments are conducted on time. Office is clean, well organized, and the staff is very professional. Doctors are excellent! They are thorough and willing to speak with you in detail about issues and concerns. My whole family now uses this practice and I would recommend it to anyone in need of eye care.

Upon entering the large reception area, they take your temperature and ask a variety of questions to determine if youre safe to be seen. I appreciated that. The staff behind the desk is friendly and efficient. The wait to be seen is usually around 10 to15 minutes. Their equipment is extremely modern and they always give you a choice of using the much faster, more modern diagnostic machines (not reimbursed by most insurances), or if you want to take the old-fashioned route (e.g. drops to dilate your pupils) which insurance will pay for. The professional staff who do the eye tests are very well trained and pleasant. Dr. Conway is a wonderful ophthalmologist -- caring, hugely knowledgeable, and always takes the time to answer questions and be warm and sociable. Highly recommended. Ive worked with Joe Forte for years to get my contact lenses. He , too, is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about what kind of lenses would work best for your needs.

I was so impressed during my recent visit to Greenwich Opthamology. The offices are clean and well designed. The staff were all great. The front desk staff was professional, friendly and efficient. They took me straight back for my appointment, no waiting. The medical assistant was amazing. I do remember having that same thought at my previous appointment... very lovely, bright, friendly, and confident. She made me feel I was in good hands. Dr. Tsong don’t keep me waiting long. He also makes me feel well taken care of. In and out in no time, a great experience.

Absolutely awful experience.Very, Very, Very busy office.My health care covers an annual eye exam 100%.he Practice charged me $80 and said they would see how the insurance processed the claim and that the charge was because it was a specialist visit.My insurance company received the claim from Greenwich Ophthalmology which they state was incorrectly coded and because of that I was charged $80.I called the business office at Greenwich Ophthalmology and spoke to the Administrative staff to explain that the bill was submitted with incorrect coding and provide the correct coding so the claim could be reprocessed.I was told that the office did not use those codes and that they would not add them so the bill could be resubmitted and I would be reimbursed the $80 charge for a visit that is supposed to be fully covered.I manage a Healthcare practice myself and know how easy it is to add codes so the claim out be correctly submitted.They could not be bothered with helping me resolve this billing issue.I wonder how many of their claims are submitted with incorrect coding causing patients to be charged.Very, very unreasonable Business office staff, i will not be returning or referring them to anyone.Cara G.

Appointment was a 10. Everyone was efficient and used Covid Safety measures. Best tech ever. Dr. Tsong was thorough. The Optician Nina found a new glasses frame which I liked ..The first one she picked was a winner. All in all an excellent appointment.

Would give 4.5 stars but 1) the front desk person wasnt friendly and 2) my wife and infant son had to wait 40 minutes for a 10 minute appointment a few weeks ago.

This practice managed to give me 20/20 vision in my right eye (which was 20/400) after half a dozen other doctors had failed to do anything for me.

Best experience ever. I went there after seeing the best experience my mother had when she went for surgery for a cataract. Dr. Mandava and the entire staff of receptionist and doctors are awesome. As soon as I arrived they checked me in and didn’t have to wait that long to be seeing. Had to have an eye surgery that went well. Now tomorrow (October 10, 2019) I have an appointment and am excited to see them all again. Best Facility ever. Would highly recommend anyone. Hopefully they can be able to check in on my girlfriend’s eye issue the month of December/January.

I was also so pleased to experience a positive office culture -- one of kindness and respect for everyone, working together to meet the needs of their patients with enthusiasm and professionalism.

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Mandava. I have been having issues with a cataract in my left eye and Dr. Mandava listened and answered all my questions regarding possible surgery. I felt very comfortable that I was in good hands for this upcoming surgery!

I’m a new patient to Greenwich Ophthalmology. The practice seems very professional, clean, well organized with up to date technology. My new eye glass prescription exam went well. Although, I felt rushed when I got to meet with my new eye Doctor for the first time. Being a newly diagnosed diabetic I had more questions for my doctor regarding my future eye health which I didn’t get to ask. Guess I’ll have to wait until my next visit?

The professional service was truly excellent. Unfortunately, the practice does not accept Medicare Advantage plans, and no reason is given. Curiously, they accept Medicare but not Medicare Advantage. Originally, they charged full private-pay rate (bust-out retail) with no Medicare discount. More recently they say they charge the Medicare rate but it is up to the patient to file for reimbursement from the Medicare Advantage plan.

I highly recommend Dr. Conway as my ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. Not only is Dr. Conway highly skilled, knowledgeable and professional - he is honest and very caring in his demeanor. Cutting edge technology is used. Appointments run on time. The facilities are clean. His team is friendly and attentive. A special nod goes to Patty, who books Dr. Conways surgeries. She is very compassionate to your needs and on top of her game! Overall, you are in excellent hands with Doctor Conway and his team of experts.

I have been wearing glasses for 50+ years (since grade school) and Greenwich Ophthalmology is hands-down the best retail outlet I have found for glasses. Ironically, it is tucked away and out of sight even though it is on East Main St., next to Ethan Allen and near ShopRite, Commerce Park. Seek it out! The interior in stunning. And, more importantly, I have had the very best experiences buying eyeglasses (with superior Zeiss lenses). The selection of frames is superb. The staff is friendly, very professional, and super-helpful. I had a couple of pairs of glasses (purchased elsewhere) needing minor repair and this was done gratis. I cannot find the words to recommend this business more highly. Also, while I havent yet seen the eye doctors, I plan to, given the excellence of service here.

Although I hardly had to wait at all, I do think that personnel working at at reception desk could be much polite and engaging. My doctor’s PA couldn’t have been any nicer and more professional.

Very slow in answering the phones, but efficient once you get a person. The very long wait was unacceptable. Lots of people there, but I wasnt examined until 45 minutes after my appointment.

Dr Denzel is a fine doctor. She prescribed glasses with prisms for me which enabled me to read music without a problem for the first time in years! My enthusiasm encouraged my husband to switch his care to her as well!

This is modern medicine the way it should be practiced and delivered. highest quality physicians and an office run like a high end hotel. almost no waiting. had my cataracts repaired by them and a retinal tear fixed. friends experiences have also been excellent.

We have always been happy with this Greenwich Ophthalmology so it was an unexpected occurrence when a couple of problems arose. After getting exams and new eyeglasses we ran into a couple of issues with our insurance and billing and then, with the manufacturer of the eyeglasses and lens. We were not too happy however, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, Christine (the owner) reached out to me directly to get everything resolved. I was pleasantly surprised when Christine and Ethan took care of the billing issues and the defective eyeglasses.It is nice that there are still businesses out there where the actual owner is available and responsive and their people stand behind their work and products. I recommend Greenwich Ophthalmology for all your eye care needs.

The first tech wasn’t able to think out of the box and accommodate.That said, the wifi was great.

1st and last visit.Bring our 3 year old daughter in for her appointment.Doctor not in.Unable to see any of the other eye doctors in the practice due to fully booked.Checked to see if they had our phone number and why they didn’t call to cancel appointment.No suitable reply given.Very disappointing 1st visit and regardless to say will not be going back to try again.With four out of 5 in the family that wear glasses we will definitely be going elsewhere.

Over the course of 6 years, Drs, Conway and Mandava have helped me cope with a seriously impaired right eye affected by squamous cell carcinoma. They are expert caregivers and.thoughtful,compassionate people who try to make the best of bad situations. I have complete confidence in their judgment. In addition, the staff and facilities at Greenwich Opthalmology are first-rate.

Dr. Jerry Tsong is an excellent physician, skilled in his craft with a warm, caring manner. He had been treating me until I moved away, and when I happened to back in town he agreed to see me without much notice. His examinations are always highly professional, thorough and sensitively done. When he explains things he is clear and compassionate. The GOA office is similarly professional, polite and caring. I have complete confidence in GOA and recommend them enthusiastically.

I will give the benefit of the doubt with two stars. Wife and child went to the office and met with Dr. Densel. Lazy eye was a diagnosis from my daughters elementary. The Dr did tests and determined that she needed glasses. My wife was not happy and asked if alternatives existed and was told no, no other options. My wife decided to take prescription for glasses and diagnosis for school with her. She informed the doctor she would look for a second opinion .Had a second opinion by a well regarded Ophthalmologist in the Stamford area I have used and was recommended by people in the area for children also. His analysis was the eyes are close enough that he does not see further issues developing and that glasses would be like a pane of glass for her and would be tossed quickly.Reading the above, looks like just a difference of opinion. Where things become strange is the school form that needed to be filled out looks completely different from the two doctors. One filled in exactly what the school wrote for the eye issues in both the near and far areas. The other filled in the information from the diagnosis. Want to take a guess which did which? Should note her near vision is perfect and doctor just put the bad diagnosis for far in both fields.There were also additional charges for other services, but my wife was informed they wouldnt be covered by insurance. The difference between the two appointments, cost wise, was significant.

Ive been going to dr potter for 25 years ive been very happy with the care he and his staff give. The stamford office is very modern and the staff is all very professional id reccomend to anybody!
