Dr Turok is the best doctor (of all disciplines ) that I have ever seen or been a patient of. He truly cares about each individual and their unique set of circumstances. I find Dr. Turok to be an excellent and caring Dr. We explored a number of treatments , and I find his communication and medical skills to be top quality.

I have been seeing Dr. Turok for nearly 10 years to help me with severe nerve pain in my neck and back. Through a combination of safe, non-invasive procedures (e,g., PRP shots and radiofrequency injections) and targeted medications, I have been able to maintain a quality of life that would not otherwise be possible. Im 55 now and continue to have full range of motion in my neck that my primary care doctor cannot believe. I am able to play tennis and pickleball, workout at the gym and support my family without the debilitating headaches that I used to suffer on a daily basis. I I have not always been the easiest patient, but Dr. Turok has always been there for me. He has literally been a life-safer in every possible way.

I am most suspicious. One review after another giving Dr. Turok five stars. Quite amazing. At least Amazon tries to verify the writers. I am a professional writer...and...95% of these reviews employ exactly the same writing syntax.OK. Forget the suspicion.My experience? I was kept waiting one hour. Dr. Turok came in...did not introduce himself... Sat down and looked at me saying nothing. I was reluctant to speak with the door open so I had to shut it. I explained my problem and it appears he could not help me. That is fair enough and he referred me to someone who might be able to. I was grateful for his introduction.I trust there will be no charge. There was absolutely no consultation, communication or reaction at all.

Dr Turok is quick and efficient. His staff is very strict and always strive to help their patients. Their office is top notch in communication across a wide spectrum of language and culture acceptance, and really just want to help people feel better and be normal again. There’s no such thing as a challenge for Dr Turok and his staff to get the job done and find the problem.

Will never go back to this doctor. I reported him because he falsified my medical record. He told me I KNEW I needed surgery when I first came to him. Yet, our plan (on day 1) was to avoid surgery as my neurosurgeon told me there was only 50/50 chance of actually getting better from the surgery. Then by month 4 he was rude and yelled at me in my office and told me I KNEW I needed surgery and didnt know why I was wasting his time.He also told me that giving me a trigger point injection because it was too dangerous. However, when I saw my orthopedic the next day, he said that my spine was not being crushed and a trigger point injection was completely safe.When I went in for my last appointment, I brought my mother-in-law. And I was in so much pain and crying, she tried to talk to him and he started yelling at her, THIS IS NOT A PEDIATRICIANS OFFICE! He also yelled at me because I was curled up and had my feet against my chest. He said GET YOUR FEET OFF MY TABLE!You cant tell if this is a neurologist, pain specialist or a med spa. As there are signs all over offering Botox and his special O injections. Hes just trying to make money off of too many groups.Conveniently, my original review some how disappeared.

Please be aware of what you are agreeing to (and please see my images under the Photos section if he doesnt delete them):1) You are required to sign a LEGAL DOCUMENT that gives them permission to perform any type of exam or procedure, states that the risks have already been explained to you, and that you consent to pictures and video being taken of you during the exams and procedures.2) They can call you on any random day and you are required to travel to their office ON THAT DAY to present your unused medication.3) Give up your right to sue the doctor for malpractice, including unnecessary or unauthorized services that have been negligently or incompetently rendered, and instead agree to resolve all legal matters out of court.4) That you have provided a urine sample. (Without ever having done so and never even having been to their office).Untrue, unethical, UNBELIEVABLE!I do not recommend Igor for your pain management.

At one time I gave Dr Turok and his office a five star review. I do believe Dr Turok is highly skilled and I drove an hour to see him for that very reason. Unfortunately I will no long go back because of what I feel is shady billing practices. I showed up today and was handed a bill with a balance I was unaware I even had! There were charges dating back to August I had never even seen. I asked why wasn’t I told about the balance at all my other appointments, I was told “Sorry about that. We just hired a new billing company.” I had no idea the treatments were not fully covered. I hadn’t received any bills for any treatments in the past and was told it was just a co-pay. I also had been approved for stem cell treatment which I knew would not be fully covered so I asked three times for an estimate and when one could not be provided I canceled the appointment. I was promised a call back which never happened. Even today when I showed up for a facet block, still no estimate could be provided. Between that and the previous balance issue, I decided to leave with no treatment unsure what the cost would be.

I highly recommend Dr. Turok! I have been dealing with disabling back and neck pain for almost 10 years. Other doctors just put me on medication. Dr. Turok has performed injections in my neck and back and my pain level has been greatly reduced. I can sleep better and do other activities I haven’t been able to do for years. I spent most of my life going to neurologists that were convinced they could help control my migraines. I would get a prescription and they would send me on my way. Dr Turok actually listened to me and yes, I was given a prescription to help control my migraines, but it was combined with injections for pain management. That difference has changed everything.Most recently though, Dr Turok made a huge difference in my day to day well being. I had gotten very sick and was going between other drs trying to figure out what was wrong, ended up going through 3 rounds of antibiotics and that still did not help. When I came in for my injections, Dr Turok was concerned because of how bad I looked color wise, and I was clearly exhausted. He has known me long enough that he knew even personality wise, something was wrong. He recommended trying the vitamin infusions that he has started integrating. I tried it and I am finally feeling human again. I went from barely getting through the day, to being back on my game. Life-changing.

Doctor Igor Turok is the best there is. I went to him for back pain and pain in my leg and knee. Before I even had the MRI, he knew what the diagnosis would be - herniated discs. Then, once I had the MRI this was proven to be true. He is an expert at what he does and he takes care of his patients until they feel 100% better. His dedication to other people is truly inspiring. I came to Dr. Turoks office for a concussion that occurred while I broke up a fight at work. I wasn’t getting sleep and had major headaches. Through his extensive experience and compassion...I can happily say that I feel 10x better. I am back to my sleeping patterns and am pain free. So where do I begin.Dr Turok brought back in me something I never thought I would ever feel again. He has brought back hope of living life as we should.Hope that I once gave up on six years ago. But I thought at this point what do I have to lose. Being skeptical that I’ve already lost everything so I gave Dr Turok a chance to prove me wrong. I was willing to put myself through this experience again so I met with Dr Turok and he told me he could help me. I smiled at him with a sarcastic look on my face.Not trying to be disrespectful and thought to myself OK here we go again. At that point I didn’t want to believe anything due to the fact that I went through so much and I felt that this wasn’t going to be any different. So the first session started and I was very interested in everything he had to say and do . We started our treatments and on the second treatment of (PRP) and cortisone shots I started feeling different A lot of my pain was diminishing. I was able to walk on a cane opposed to a wheelchair.I started to have filling on my leg and on my foot. The pain in my back had diminished to a point where I can feel my back.And at that point I was very excited and pleased to have a doctor like Dr Turok and his staff. They all work together and they work hard to make us feel better. They are very concerned about our health and our well being. I feel like this office does everything in their power to make us whole again.So please don’t do it for me and don’t do it for Dr Turic or his team. Do it for yourself. My sister and I have been seeing the chiropractor, Dr. Cavallaro, since he began at CT Pain Solutions. He has eliminated pain radiating down my leg from an issue in my lower back. My sister is developmentally disabled and suffers from lower back pain and early onset arthritis in her knee. Dr. Cavallaro is wonderful with her; he is patient and lets her speak for herself, he listens, and he remembers what she tells him.

LOVE this office! I have been struggling for over 2 years with chronic pain after an injury. I had many specialists tell me that I was stuck with the nerve pain and there wasnt anything to do about it. Dr. Turok is the first doctor in 2+ years to give me hope and actually follow through with treatment. I am still struggling, and have pain, but Dr. Turok has been doing everything he can do to help me and he is determined to help me to the best of his abilities. This is about a wonderful Dr. & Human being;~Dr. Turok~After finding out my insurance would no longer accept my doctor that I’ve been going to now for over 5 years, I decided that there was no other way I would ever see another doctor & I decided I would go see him regardless if I had to pay out of pocket or even rob a bank! ( thank god I never had to rob a bank! LOL! )This Man cares! He REALLY cares!!!!I’ve been diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, Degenerative Bone Disease, Fibromyalgia and 3 fully protruded disks. Basically when I met him for the first time I was a mess! I cried because I was SO desperate to be painless! I begged him to take the pain away!!!! I was in agony and was at my last straw and all I could do was cry in frustration!Dr. Turok had a heart! and patience!He was willing to try anything and everything because HE REALLY CARED!! He listened to me!He wasn’t like the other dr.’s! He didn’t just write me a prescription and tell me to go and make another appointment like every other doctor would’ve! He Cared! Dr. Turok is an amazing Doctor. I had terrible back pain where I couldn’t hardly walk. He gave me a treatment and I now get around without a walker and can drive fine. Before coming to see Dr.Tourik I was in really bad shape the pain was off the charts. My sister had referred me to him and told me he worked wonders for her. Since I’ve seen him going on almost a year I have been able to move a lot better won’t say I’m pain free but he has helped immensely with pain management and is a great listener and isn’t quick to rush you out of his office. I would refer to him anyone who is need of an awesome person and doctor very professional in every way.

The Doctor and his staff are the best, most caring group of people you can meet.** However, if you are looking for a doctor to give you your pills and send you on your merry little way, this is not the doctor for you.**Dr. Turok can give you a prescription, but you are expected to put the work in as well, through physical therapy, and the other forms of treatment he offers.The objective is to improve your quality of life and pills dont do that alone. I have been a patient of Dr Turoks since 2014 and I can honestly say that he is the best in his field. I have dealt with chronic back issues from repeated injuries since 2008. I had been seen by other physicians whose treatments left little to no relief. Dr Turok performs a wide variety of procedures and is thorough in finding the correct plan of care for you. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and always friendly.

Dr. Turok literally changed my life. I was suffering with debilitating migraines that left me in the ER 2 to 3 times a month. He created a treatment plan that has stopped my migraines and enables me to live headache free! I am forever grateful and HIGHLY recommend him as a doctor.

I have been to numerous doctors who have all tried to throw pills my way without a real solution and explanation for my pain. I’m impressed with the medical technology and knowledge this office has. My husband and I both see Dr. Turok once a month for pain management and every 6 months for back injections (we arrive in pain and walk out pain free). The office is so friendly that it’s like visiting family. We are so impressed by Dr. Turok and his staff that we drive an hour, each direction, to see them. It’s definitely worth the drive!

Doctor Turok is very meticulous and knowledgeable. I was always weary about getting injections, b/c of the extensive hardware in and around my knees, but he makes it as painless as possible. Navigating around the hardware to find the nerve seems difficult, but he uses an x-ray machine, which no other doctor has before.

Doctor Turok is awesome, and his staff is the best Ive had the pleasure of knowing. He takes the time to diagnose the problem regardless of past recommendations and once he has a clear understanding of the issue he goes to work quickly. He never cuts a conversation short and always takes the time to listen. Its no wonder he chooses his patients as much as they choose him. If youre lucky enough to live within his practice you will not regret choosing him. I am a work in progress, however he has focused on the immediate issue at all times. After going to several different doctors, none have been able to control nerve pain, or my migraines. Ive been with doctor Turok for a few years, & Im not going anywhere else. Hes a doctor I trust with managing my pain.

I walked in Dr. Turoks office for the initial appointment, thinking hes just another doctor who wont help me and just write prescriptions. Boy was I wrong. He spent a good 20 minutes with me getting my background, getting my surgery history, and a whole bunch of other things, so he can fully understand what I will need. I had explained to him that because of the severe pain I had that I wasnt sleeping in my bed, and that I have been sleeping in my recliner for quite a while now. Towards the end of the visit he asked me a question, What exactly are you looking for from me?. I looked him straight in the eyes and said I want to be able to sleep in my bed again. He smiled and said Im gonna help you. He then told me all of the things that he had planned for me, therapy, injections, etc.. I was SO happy that I was going to actually get help instead of just some doctor writing prescriptions. Dr. Turok truly cares about his patients well being. And if youre willing to work with him HE WILL WORK FOR YOU. I will gladly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a pain solution

Dr. Turok and his staff are phenomenal. He is so thorough and spends the time to explain everything to you and answer any questions you may have, which has been different than my experience with any other doctor. He is invested in getting you pain free, while ensuring you are informed and comfortable along the way. I have had 10 years of severe back pain due to disc issues without any long term relief and became completely hopeless before finding Dr Turok. He is personable and treats you like another human being and not just a patient. I had one of the most horrible experiences with another practice in which a procedure they did (incorrectly) caused me to initially have more pain and a ton of anxiety to even see a new doctor, let alone have any more procedures. Dr Turok handled this in stride. He was comforting, gave me options and the election to not have any procedure I wasn’t comfortable with. He even had me laughing before the end of the appointment. I would recommend him and his practice to anyone.

As a person with chronic pain it was very important for me to have a Doctor who is understanding and actually listened to me in order to help me with my pain . Dr Turok and his practice on more like family to me as I have been a patient of his for over a year and have no problem traveling from South Windsor to Wallingford to see him because I wouldn’t consider going to any other doctor for my pain management . Dr Turok is in no rush to hand out prescriptions as he listens to each and every month to see if there are any changes in your lifestyle and how your pain levels can change. He really does take the time with each and all of his patients so you really feel as if he is genuinely concerned with your day to day handling of pain . His staff is very friendly and accommodating and you never feel as if you’re just a patient you truly are an important part of his practice and he really does appreciate that . My wife had a dental procedure that left her with neuropathic pain in her mouth. After years of going from one doctor to another, state to state, with no relief to be found, we found Dr. Totuk. He reassured us that their was a treatment to help and would not give up on her. He performed PRP on her in the affected area. After two treatments my wife is getting some much needed pain relief. What an awesome Dr.he is one of the best that I have ever seen hes patient and he takes his time to try and figure out exactly whats going on with u I have driven to wallingford for see him and now hes in Stamford so I see him here I have had back surgery and things didnt go so well and I thought I would walk like an old lady the rest of my life and he took care of that situation now I have a lot of arthritis in my hip and knee and I wouldnt go to anyone but him cause I kno it will take a little time but I will be better cause he will not stop until he gets to the bottom of it as long as he is in practice I will be right there with him
