First of all I thank the Lord ✝️ for my strength. My experience for the first time at Planet Fitness immediate made me feel better especially my class on another day. I went back again today July 9 and its even more better with other machines I havent tried so Im looking forward to making this a habit. Thank Yall PF for more of a expandable gym than Im used to! The photo I took that says leave egos here had me really thinking because what it means to me is that you cant teach anything to anyone with ego. God Bless Yall ❤

Madison Rogers was amazing during my sign up process. Explained in detail about each amenity I was receiving and always had a smile on her face! Recommend going and signing up with this beautiful soul! Made the gym process so much easier!

Extremely clean, great AC and a very well organized gym, tanning booths get new bulbs regularly and the staff is always helpful and polite.

Mags was refreshing and friendly about all my questions and concerns. My 1st time going to any gym and wad uncertain about what to expect. She made it easy and friendly. I signed that day.

It was great today! I had a better experience this time around and Im looking forward to the upkeep of the gym and the great staff to greet us and to tell us bye just as cheerful when were leaving. Thanks! 😊

Awesome club! Exercise, shower. massage chairs, you name it! The club is always clean, open, and active! The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Madison and Lynette were so awesome!! They helped me with everything I needed and helped me with all I didnt understand. The entire time the were super friendly and professional. Love the gym and the ppl.

I had a 10 AM appointment with the trainer. I drove in from Walkerton only to be told the trainer did not come to work today and I would need to reschedule. I asked to meet with someone else. I was told no one else was available and I would need to reschedule. I asked to speak to a manager. I was informed the manager was not available and there was nothing else they could do for me. When I expressed frustration over not being notified of the trainer not being present, I was told she had a family emergency and it was not appreciated that I was talking about a coworker in a negative manner. Moral of the story dont waste your time or money on Planet Fitness on Western Avenue.Update: tried to contact the manager via phone a couple of times. I was told she was at lunch and then told she was not in today. Not a good way to take care of your customers.

Friendly staff, excellent workout variety, clean and sanitized with numerous convenient cleaning stations. All around good experience. I would recommend.

Im a Black Card member. This PF has the equipment I use to do my workout. Would like to have them have a Lateral Raise machine in both locations. They do not have rowing machines in the South Bend PF . And it would good if they had a few to go rowing on. The Mishawaka PF has 4 rowing machines and also does not have a Lateral Raise machine. This South Bend PF seems to me to be bigger than the Mishawaka PF building and both places are kept clean and that includes the Spa area for Black Card members. The level of noise is something to deal with if music is being played to loud for comfort it is a good idea to wear ear plugs or ear muffs to muffle the loud music etc when it is being played at high volume in either PFs. While your trying to listen to your own sounds thru your ear phones as I do and I wear ear plugs and head phones to muffle their sounds and hear my own music recordings etc while working out.. The place has a good air condition system and ceiling fans to help members workout in comfort. Cool enough in the summer temp is kept around 68 to 70 degrees and warm enough in the winter. I rate both PFs a 4 Star now. Memberships are a bargain. Worth It.

This Planet Fitness is very clean and the employees are nice. They have done well through the Covid rulings with social distancing and posting about masks. Thankfully now, however, masks are no longer required - only recommended.

Planet fitness on western avenue is always a great place to go work out..the staff is very friendly and the equipment is tops..

So many choices for anyone who is trying to be healthier. Very friendly staff and easy access from anywhere..

I’ve been going to this gym for a while and is probably the best planet fitness I’ve been to. It always clean too, which is great at this time. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well, especially Desiree she has helped me and some friends whenever we need any assistance! I will probably will continue going here for a while.

Their tanning beds are all updated and amazing. The people atvthe front are always friendly. I prefer this planet fitness! :)

During the epidemic, youll be expected to clean everything you touch. If you can get past that, then this place is by far the best gym in the SB area. It lives up to its judgement-free zone mantra; if youre friendly to others, theyll be friendly in return. Theres always room in the elliptical/treadmill/cycle area, and people move through the other equipment quickly (be sure to reserve a piece of equipment when you get the chance!). Bring a friend if you can, it makes the experience better 😄

Clean place to workout, but I feel like there should be section for free weights that is not accompanied by machine i.e for squatting and bench press..

$10 a month deal is not what its advertised to be

My background with fitness has been I’ve always worked out you know maybe four days a week for about 45 minutes or so I’ve always been sort of fit but never in really good fitness shape if that makes sense I could do a 5K but it’s gonna take a lot to do it. Never had strong arm muscles I’ve only ever just kind of worked biceps I really didn’t know what I was doing when it came to upper body training. I decided to take the leap on July 10, 2020 with a personal trainer which I have never done before. It was very intense and the first few weeks I struggled to complete all of my workout training that Jordan had designed for me personally. I have never trained like this before and Jordan was always there to help show me how to do the workouts properly and to motivate me and inform me on how all of the workouts are designed and how many reps and the reasons why we are doing those to help train my body. I went through a full first phase of eight week program that got my body condition for phase 2 once I started phase 2 I started seeing major results I did see results in phase 1 but in phase 2 it really accelerated and I understand the basis of why we were doing the phase 1 to get ready for phase 2. I am super happy with my results I would highly recommend getting a personal trainer that is their profession and their job to show you how to get your body in optimal peak performance Jordan is very encouraging and motivating even though I thought I knew a lot about fitness I really didn’t, he explained it a lot to me on why we were certain things and how the body will respond. Five stars!!!!

Social distancing was immaculate. Fun music. Lots of cleaning stations, all marked. Hand sanitizer provided. Proper precautions throughout the entire establishment. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Ive been to Planet Fitness locations all over the country, and this one stacks up well against the best. It is also my home club. They maintain a level of cleanliness that is top-notch; the staff is personable and helpful; the equipment is well-maintained and spaced so that no one feels crowded. The biggest thing for me, though, has been the trainer, Jordan. He put together an exercise, stretching, and nutrition plan for me that has changed my life. It was all based on my goals (and my discipline), but Jordan knew what would encourage me and what would discourage me, and he has been there for me the entire way. Come to this gym, enjoy your workout, tell them I sent you.

The trainer Jordan is great. He is really interested in the journey u r on and knowledgeable on what u need and want...I personally started out not being able to do alot when it can to leg things due to a boot and he made a plan around it...When I had the surgery on my foot he made a plan for my upper body so I could still come in and workout even tho I was on a knee walker and crutches....He also kept me motivated and made sure I didnt get discouraged... Jordan was also interested in the healing and struggles I was going thru and made sure I didnt push myself too far...u need more trainers like him working for PF.

I rate it four because someone stole my Samsung s20 charging case on my first visit today but thats okay. Place was very clean and staff was helpful. Plus I enjoy working out so it was nice.

I have taken a couple of classes with Jordan, the personal trainer at planet fitness - that by the way, comes with your membership - and his classes are worth taking! Jordan asks about your goals, what you want to work on and customizes the work out to your goals. I recommend that you at least try one class with him, You won’t regret it!

I absolutely love this facility. The staff is so helpful and caring. Dan helped sign me up quickly and is always there if my friends or I need anything. I highly recommend plant fitness on Western for your fitness needs.

I love this gym. The locker room and gym is always clean. Dan greets you every morning morning with a smile and Jordan is a great trainer. You can’t go wrong with this location.

Ive used a variety of gyms over the past several years and this one is definitely the best. Tons of cardio equipment (they will never run short on treadmills, even in the busiest times). Two of most of the weight machines. Very large ab/stretching area. Several straight bar racks/benches. Only down side is that the dumbbell area is pretty small.Locker rooms are by far the best Ive ever used. Spacious area with huge lockers and extremely nice showers. Very clean gym. Friendly staff. Much better than the Planet Fitness I have went to in Indianapolis. 24 hours is great too.

Dan H is a very helpful employee. If you have any questions he’s always willing to help. He’s friendly and kind and a great assist to the planet fitness family.

Every time I come into PF Dan never fails to greet me and ask me how I am. He has always been a pleasant person to talk to. Easily approachable.

This place is great! I’ve visited other gyms, and they just don’t compare - not in services, amenities, and especially not in staff! The people here, like Dan at the front desk and Jordan the trainer, make me look forward to my workouts! These guys are awesome!!

Dan is a happy face to see every morning when I head in for my workouts! Always helpful and sends me on my way in a good mood. PF has everything I need to get in shape!

Always clean staff is super friendly and helpful!! Locked my keys in the car with the window cracked and they not only tried to help us open the car(which we eventually did) but they also called triple a to help us open the car thankfully we got it open before and was able to cancel the call!! Dan is always friendly, acknowledges me when I come and when leave. I feel very comfortable here because of all of the staff, however Dan is always great at making his presence known in a humble kind of way.
