I cannot stress enough what a positive experience going to this practice has been. Ever since the old doctors left this practice it has significantly improved. Dr. Mulvaney and his staff are amazing. They take such good care of their patients and made sure they walked me through everything step by step. I continuously come here for cleanings and will follow Dr. Mulvaneys office anywhere!

I did not have a good experience with this office or the dentist. Billing and reception office does not return calls. They tell you different information and then say they will get back to me. I did not like the run around. I wish I had changed dentist sooner.

I have many years of going to the dentist with Dr Au excellent dentist.!! Since he left I had bad experience, customer service its bad , rude , unknowledgeable specialty the girl who answer the phones ..! Terrible.!!! The only person who was calling back to solving the problem it’s her manager TERRY !!The phone girl it’s the worst !!!Bad customer service and arrogant!!

Beware ! Ever since Dr Au left it’s been a nightmare. I “supposedly” needed 3 crowns redone? Long story short I listened to the dentist . I spent nearly 6 months going back because of crown issues. Finally changed my dentist and got a second option . What you know ALL the crown were incorrectly done. I had cavities under the crowns he did !!!! I’ve called the office several time asking to speak to a manager for a refund or at least some sympathy and haven’t received a call back . Very unprofessional . I went here for over 5 years and this is how I get treated ?!?! Not even a phone call back ! Goodluck!Ps: If anyone know where Dr Au went please comment below .

This place was great when it was called Old Orchard Dental Group.Since they changed ownership, they have been pretty much worthless.Dont bother.

I just started coming to Old Orchard Dental Group and I must say, everyone, from the receptionist to the dentists are very nice and friendly. I love to have everything explained upfront and I do not like surprises and they outlined my treatment plan, explained how everything will work and listed all the costs. I love this because it allows me to budget for all the treatment I will need. They are very good at getting me scheduled right away and when I arrive, there is absolutely no wait and I love that! The office is really clean and the atmosphere is comfortable, the staff is fairly young (in age) and I like that. They answered every question I had no matter how minuscule it seemed. Im a big baby when it comes to needles and the dentist that handled my deep cleaning did everything to make it pain free. Im happy I found this place as it has become my new dental home! One more plus, I like that they are paper free and do not have me filling out papers every visit. If you are looking for a new dentist, check out Old Orchard Dental group!

I had been to this practice once before. They very were very slow and I was there for hours just for an exam and cleaning.Today I went and waited for over an hour and never saw a dentist before I walked out.No communication as to why the delay or even when I’d be seen.They did, however, hit me up with a sales pitch to purchase some kind of prepaid dental package, as soon as I walked in the door.This was a dental emergency as I had a broken crown.Don’t visit this business. I don’t believe they value their patients.

Wonderful experience! I have a different background, I had traumatic experience at the dentist as a child,so I never liked going there. I have been, and I care about my smile (for which I get many compliments), but it wasnt until I started seeing dr Au that I finally actually dont mind it at all. Dr Au is so patient, thorough, tells you every single step he is about to do, always making sure that you are comfortable and not in pain. When my son had to take care of a first cavity, I was so anxious how itll be. Dr Au really knew how to make my son feel comfortable and pain-free. Staff is very friendly, attentive. I love their dental hygienist Joanna, who is just as friendly and detailed. My whole family goes here and we all love it!

Going to the dentist has never been more pleasant. Staff was very thorough and knowledgeable. The dentist was very nice; personable and professional. And the technician who did my x-rays and cleaning was efficient and worked with a light touch. For the first time in years, I had a cleaning that didnt make my teeth feel like a demolition area. Stay away!!! It is a scam. They will try to get the money from your insurance as much as they can.I visited Dr. Au on 1/17/2018 and had a film (x-ray) for my molar. He said I need root canal and the earliest they can do is on 1/22/2018. He said that nothing he can do at this moment, other than write me a prescription to stop my pain.My insurance got a claim for 1/17/2018 from a dentist I never visited, the office is not even in Skokie. The claim includes 3 x-rays and one exam.They told my insurance that their office is currently in transition of being transferred to another dentist. Thats why I see another dentist on my claim.OK, so I called Dr. Aus office to ask why I had 3 x-rays and an exam on my claimThe office said that although they just showed me one film on the computer for that one tooth, but they took this tooth from 3 different angles!!!??? Also, because Dr. Au review the x-ray and told me I need root canal, so they have to file exam. She specifically said Dr. Au said you need root canal that is the exam. WOW, what an easy job to get $100 in few minutes.At the end of the conversation, the office said that I dont need to pay anything so no need to worry!!! of course I know I dont need to pay but this is just not right to abuse my insurance. Apparently, they know what they are doing.BTW, I went to another dentist. Yes, I need root canal but that dentist filled the inside part of the tooth with medicines and temporary filling so I wont feel pain before root canal appointment. He didnt even billed the materials he used on the tooth. This claim even cheaper than the one from Dr Au.

First time I came here was because I had a Groupon. I received great care: a thorough dental evaluation, x-ray, and cleaning. The dental hygienist (she spent over an hour with me and made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on as she did the x-rays, etc.) and Dr. Daniel Au were very helpful and answered all my questions. I went back for fillings today, also administered by Dr. Daniel. The staff are very nice and make sure your needs are met. I definitely recommend old orchard dental group for your dental care!

My whole family loves Dr. Au! Hes great with my kids, and hes done an excellent job with my visits both for check-ups and Invisalign. Very fresh, bright, and comfortable office.

Communication between the front desk and doctors is poor. Many times I waited for a very long time to be seen and one time dentist went on lunch during my appointment so I couldn’t be seen by a dentist after the hygienist. In addition, I was not informed that one of the dr. wasn’t in my network and charged me crazy amount for the work. Good luck!

Dr. Au is a kind and knowledgeable Dentist. He is no longer with this practice. The ortho, Dr. Phimon, is still there two days a month and hes very good.

Professional and friendly staffI have a problem with my lower and upper jaw that not even, went to many places to find a dentist that can fix my problems, (all expensive) then my friends recommend me to see Dr Phimon Atsawasuwan .Dr Phimon advice me several options which is affordable price. Finally after 3 years my problems are fixed.Also the clinic are so clean , all staff are so helpful and friendly .

Brianna did an excellent job she did some xray which she check them outand took notes about it.She talk to the Dentist about her concerns. I had a good experience there.

I received full orthodontic treatment from Dr. Phimon Atsawasuwan at Northwestern Dental (Skokie). I wore braces for 3 years and had my prominent underbite corrected with expanders. It cost me $7000 total ($2,000 down payment + $350 per month for 14 months) which is on the expensive end because normally braces cost around $5,000. I also had Xoom whitening done for $500 which give me a perfect white smile. I am very happy with the results and the care Dr. Phimon and his staff have given me. The quality of care is what differentiates this practice from the other ones in the area. Lisette and Norma were very helpful throughout the process. I recommend this practice!

Did a good thorough cleaning, clean environment, and the friendly and diverse staff answered all my various questions- all in a timely manner. The equipment is new as well.
