Saved my ads more than once. Especially Laurie Wick. Suzanne on the front desk is a stalwart diehard we could not live without. The kitchen staff is super nice. I would love to cook for them now that Im no longer a client. Warm boots, breakfast, shower, a washer and dryer. A robe to wear while you are doing laundry. Good food to go, too.

I owe so much to Elizabeth Gregory home. Ive moved on from years of struggling with dv and homelessness, NOW marks 5 yrs of stability with my own place, social security income, and I even own a beautiful 2009 car Will never forget my lowest point having no one and nothing BUT when everyone else seemed to run the other direction, there was Elizabeth Gregory home. Not wanting anything but for me to thrive, there open arms, gave me everything I truly needed. I love these guys

This is one of the only places who stayed open for women through this whole covid outbreak. They integrally care about us. They serve nutritious food that is always made again like they care. These women are truly an amazing team.

I gave this place four stars because their employees are kind towards their clients. They actually will take the time to answer your questions, help you find the resources that you need, and seem to genuinely want to help you. One of the attributes that I find really useful is the fact that you can call in to make appointments for their services. Standing hours and hours in line for homeless services, to only end up being told that the services are full for the day, makes being homeless a full time job as you go from place to place trying to obtain assistance for one service. This place has allowed me a little bit more free time so that I may focus that extra time on acquiring skills to get a job and hopefully get one.Areas of improvement for this place is that it needs a thorough cleaning and organizing. This is where their employees and volunteers can definitely be more proactive. I see a lot of sitting around and doing just one task (which may take 10 minutes to accomplish within a 1 hour timespan that they using to accomplish it) for some of these people. Given that resources are so limited at a place like this, all employees and volunteers should multitask. For example, the person who oversees things in the kitchen should also be cleaning the kitchen and laundry area. Dont just sit there when you are done answering kitchen and laundry questions, pick up some wipes and wipe down the stations, vacuum/sweep the place more frequently, etc. The person who oversees the clothing closet could organize the clothing by sizes when they are not busy checking people in or out. These are just some ways that they could all be more productive. Overall, I see about a 60% downtime for the people working here and increasing their work duties would make this place better and the workers time go faster. The money is very little for places such as these, therefore donors, please donate. This is a great place for that! The organization, however, could make this dollar stretch further by utilizing their employees and volunteers in multitasking duties and encouraging a proactive attitude towards making this a cleaner and more organized place.
