Unlike several of the negative reviews from people who didnt even get a massage here, Im leaving an actual review after a fantastic deep tissue massage. I booked through Groupon but Im definitely going to book again regularly because I had a great experience. It was my first deep tissue massage but I feel rejuvenated and my whole body is relaxed and stretched. He was very professional and focused, we chatted a bit but I never felt like the conversation was being forced. Im very ticklish which is why I dont get massages often, but he was great about working through it when I tensed up. Id recommend this business to anyone looking for a great massage!

This place was 10 minutes from work, unfortunately work as a registered nurse can very and I was not able to make my 30 minute (cash only) appointment, since it was close to work I had planned an additional longer appointment. When I requested that be canceled after a complete lack of flexibility for a first responder/Registered Nurse, the appointment scheduled 8 days in the future was billed for the missed appointment. All I can say is BOO!!! Poor character!!! I will always choose the safety of my patients over myself. You lost a customer and I have a VERY POOR VIEW OF YOU! Update 7/15/21: please don’t do business with this man he obviously has problems.

I don’t write reviews often, but saw he was in need of some better reviews, as people that haven’t even given his massage a try yet are giving him 1 star reviews. Also his massage room/clinic environment is very professional, he’s inside the Eastlake Massage building on Eastlake. I also was confused and walked around the corner first (I understand the back alley that maybe looked sketchy but that was behind his building because google maps makes it look that way). So maybe clear that up in your directions that it’s in the Eastlake Massage Building, but other than that the massage was PHENOMENAL! And he 1000% deserves the tip he charges in advance!I’ve been getting massages my whole life, and this was one of the best deep tissue/sports massages I’ve had, also incorporates amazing stretches. Was definitely in need of that after only having one other massage this past year. He’s very professional in the massage, and has great conversation! Been needing a new therapist, so glad I found him, will definitely be coming back regularly! If you can get past his humorous wit on his review replies, I can appreciate his no BS tactics! He’s a fabulous small business and therapist to support! I even took a 3 hour nap after, my body and muscles were so dead after that massage! Muuuuch much needed! Thank you, thank you!!! 🙏🏼 I will make sure to hydrate tonight!!

I’ve been getting massage therapy for years due to my shoulder/back problems and my massage today from Tucker was one of the best I’ve ever had! He took time to understand what I was looking to achieve/get from massage therapy & talked me through what areas he’ll be working on to address my problem areas. He was also great at adjusting the pressure as needed to my comfort level. I booked 90 minutes (which totally flew by because it was so amazing) and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Felt compelled to write a review after reading the one stars. Those who complain about the location - Tucker messaged me when I was on my way to clarify the address. And it is not in some scary place. May not be a fancy spa type of place but functional. And Tucker is not your typical massage therapist.I am an avid traveler and have received massage from several countries in Asia as well as in Sweden (no, I got a Thai massage ) and several European countries as well as all up and down the west coast U.S. and Tuckers treatment is one of the best.I have a persistent tension and knots in my upper body and know that its something a massage is not going to get rid of. After an hour with Tucker, I felt much less discomfort the next day than after most massages. My only complaint is the upbeat dance music he needs to keep alert. I usually like soft piano for massage but wouldnt mind 80s new wave or post punk but difficult to relax with music I dont like. So next time, bringing my headphones.

I went for the first time through Groupon, but will gladly go back and pay full price! Ive done a few massages through Groupon with mixed experiences, but this is by far the best. Tucker took the time to understand what my needs and attention spots were, and also explained the types of treatment along with the benefits. The actual massage was fantastic, and I tried cupping for the first time and loved it. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend!

This place is sketchy / a scam and not worth your time or $$. Showed up to a sketchy dark alley with literally no signage. Walked around the building / block for 10 minutes trying to find the place and called the owner three times with no answer. Heard it’s just some guy in the back of a cluttered gym and left after reading reviews from scared 20something girls while waiting for a call back from the owner. I do not recommend booking an appointment here!! The owner is scary and mean. See other reviews.

I scheduled an appointment thru groupon and went at the allocated time just to find the place closed. When I called the owner he just said I have cancelled the groupon appointments and I am not available now. Had to waste 1 hour of drive time. When you have a policy of no show then you should also be respectable of someone elses time and email/text them if you are not availablereply for the owners message below: why are you on Groupon then? The whole reason to take a groupon is to see if you like the merchant and their services before becoming a long time customer. Glad that I did take the Groupon as I got to see how unprofessional you are. I didnt personally ask you to be on Groupon. Saw your services their thought of giving a try and now you are putting down people who buy Groupon. Good job 👌👌👏.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. ITS WORTH YOUR WHILE: NOT A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS! Really wanted to buy this as a gift for my father. He has been suffering from a lot of pain recently. More than just finding an experienced and knowledgeable massage therapist, I also wanted to find someone for him who actually makes a point to work with the patient, and works to promote a welcoming and comforting experience all the way around. I do massage therapy myself pretty regularly. I have had good and bad experiences. This is just my opinion- but I do truly believe that the customer service, communication, and cleanliness should be just as good as the actual massage itself. The full experience should be RESPECTFUL and relaxing. I scrolled through his reviews to check this place out. After seeing many bad experiences, and rude and almost catty responses from the owner on his own reviews, I decided to go against purchasing this massage. I do 100% realize how it’s almost unnecessary to leave a review when I did NOT experience a massage (I normally never even leave reviews so..) but I was just so turned off that I had to state my frustrations. I really wanted to try this place out. You could of had a new loyal customer. Online politeness and courtesy should be taken seriously. It brings in...or in this case, shoos away potential new clientele. Here is an example of one of the reviews I found-He basically barked back at this young client, as if he were her father ...not a professional way to get your policies across sir.(I copied and pasted the review that I am referencing):“Never went because I was too scared, ( young, 20yr, female) and have read there is only one man (who is very big) and he gives you a massage in the back of a gym which is cluttered with junk. I tried to cancel but he never answered my messages trying to ask about the cancellation fees or called me back until after the appointment. Was charged an additional $68 dollar cancellation fee. Most stressful time and I didnt even get a massage but lost $120 dollars and he texted my cell phone angrily.”Response from the owner:“Don’t make up excuses for yourself; if you have an appointment, you show up; if you don’t cxl in the provided time, you get charged.”Adding....—-The owner decided to respond to my concern....definitely made himself look like a fool. (after reading the owners response)..... please read people’s ACTUAL concerns, and full reviews, before just taking to the keys. I was ONLY commenting on your lack of professionalism and display of outstanding rudeness. And to my credit, your response just kind of solidified my point. Kind of embarrassing. This is your business. Try being welcoming, and understanding to potential clientele rather than just engaging in banter?... just a thought. Nobody wants a rude and unpleasant person feeling em up and giving them a massage...And even more so, nobody wants to pay money for a rude and unpleasant person to give them a massage.

One word= perfection. Stunning bath house, beats any Russian bath house in the city and Brooklyn, and Korean bath houses in queens and jersey by far. I recommend an hour massage at least. My friend said 4 hand is lovely.

One of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. He also offered cupping and stretching which were also amazing. The massage is in a boxing gym so it’s not your typical uber-quiet/relaxing atmosphere but I actually liked that better. Definitely plan to go back.

The best spot to ease out pain/muscle tension. Beware this is not a smooth relaxing rejuvenating message spot but rather a perfect spot for athletes or individuals with specific issues or looking to release tension from their muscles.

Worst massage I have ever gotten. He left serious, large bruises all over my chest, my arms, my back and neck. I was sore for days. He has no idea what hes doing. Go elsewhere. Not worth the Groupon (plus non-negotiable automatic 20% tip charged to your card).

This was my very first massage and I have scoliosis. Tucker Roy was amazing. He has a calming atmosphere and knows all of the major muscles where the majority of the tension lies. I am grateful that he inquired about what I wanted done and also where I hurt most. I learned more about my back then Ive ever known before and for that I am thankful. He asked how I felt once it was complete and I told him I felt lighter. May the most high continue to bless his hands. Truly wonderful. If your upTIGHT, go see Tucker Roy. Namaste 🙏🏾

Scheduled an appointment through web site. Mentioned in the comment that I will be using voucher for discount. They cancelled an appointment at the day of the visit. This is not a big deal though, the problem was that person who was talking to me was super rude and offensive, kind of dont tell people how to do business.
