From the reviews, I appreciated that Dandelion Nutrition may be a fit for many, which led us to work with them. Our actual experience is that the practice lacks the cultural competence to work with families of color, or those from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. The provider we worked with was tone deaf and sometimes aggressive in her interactions - when all we wanted was evidence based guidance for our child. I spoke with Marlene, the CEO, whom I credit with being willing to listen. However, with a busy practice of mostly white families as she described them, I didnt sense any urgency to change from her. I believe FoC can do better elsewhere.

Geanna is a gem. Working with her, I developed a healthy relationship with food, which seemed impossible when I set out. Shes helpful, incredibly nice, and I especially loved her body positive attitude. I learned a lot about nutrition and preparing food, and will continue to recommend Dandelion Nutrition to family and friends due to my wonderful and nurturing experience.

Going through the LEAP program was life changing. I have spent my entire life struggling to understand my food sensitivities, and I had hit a wall with experimenting on my own. The fact that I have been symptom free for months now is miraculous. I felt like Marlene was in this with me, not to judge any of my food choices, but to help me figure out how to heal my body. My MRT results were helpful, but Marlene took those results and helped really tailor them to my issues and preferences. I would have been lost in the process without that guidance and support. I will be forever grateful to Marlene and to the LEAP process. I feel like a completely different person!

I have been a client of Erica Harschs for almost three months up until this point. She has seriously been a God-send for me! First and foremost, she is so kind and welcoming. It is challenging to receive top notch care during COVID without that face-to-face interaction, but Erica manages to do so by e-mailing lots of information my way and screen shares when need be.I came to Erica with GERD issues and she taught me how to recognize what is hurting my stomach and what isnt. She also incorporates into her lessons that the gut and brain are very closely connected, and mental health is extremely important to gut health and healing. My issues will take some time to resolve, but she got me on track because I didnt even know where to start before seeing her. Erica gave me tools to begin my healing journey.

I chose Dandelion Nutrition based on the positive reviews online. However, I am very disappointed I did so. I booked an appt with Marlene for food sensitivity. She recommended a blood test and doing a special protocol for $$$$. I followed every piece with absolutely no improvement for such a high price she charges. Later, I learned that she charges almost twice the price for her LEAP program compared to the other nutritionists I called. When I shared my concern she became very confronting and had a very unprofessional attitude. Shop around before committing to her services.

After working with Erica for just a couple months, Ive resolved issues of 15 years and am likely preventing unnecessary future disease. Erica is amazingly kind and knowledgeable and I love the user-friendly mobile platform for virtual appointments. I don’t think any company is more helpful or valuable than Dandelion Nutrition. I hope it is very successful and many people tune in!

I am a longtime junk food connoisseur and have struggled in the past with really grasping the concept of nutrition and how it effects my daily life (Ive tried things before that didnt become a lifestyle change-just something I did for a few months and slowly slipped back into my old habits of snacking when bored and eating out instead of meal prepping). I am easily overwhelmed with information, especially when there are so many opinions out there regarding nutrition. What drew me to this program in the beginning was that its based on how your bodys biology reacts to different foods so it really is tailored to the individual. And, as an added bonus, you get the support of the Dandelion Nutrition team to help interpret your results and offer solutions as issues arise during the program (having the blood test results is great, but I dont think it would be as effective without working with a nutritionist to help you get the most out of it). While this was challenging at times (and still is), I really enjoyed this program and am very appreciative of my meetings/help from Erica. She is great at explaining things and was also very understanding if I was struggling/had extra questions. I feel better equipped to identify changes in my health and body going forward and I really like that Im able to continue seeing Erica as needed. I saw great numerical results (92% symptom improvement in 3 months) but, more importantly I think, I gained a greater understanding of my body and nutrition in general than I possessed before. Obviously Im still learning, but I feel like I have better tools so that the learning process isnt quite as overwhelming and I have a little more control. Thank you for this program and for providing the needed support throughout. It was completely worth it and continues to be so :)

I really enjoyed the program and it was so tremendously helpful for my IBS, migraines and overall health. I am so happy that I did it and Emily was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. I went to the doctors multiple times for years trying to figure out what was going on and at times, it felt as if they thought it was all in my head. I finally have relief from migraines that I would have up to 3 a week since I was 8 years old. I also have relief from the majority of bloating and abdominal pain. I am so thankful for the program and Emilys hard work to help me with being successful. I am so happy to have found this program!

In the food sensitivity program I found that by eliminating all non-tested and yellow/red sensitive foods that my energy level increased drastically which was huge for me. I know there are certain foods I avoid because they upset my stomach/cause constipation/just make me feel overall not great. I really liked how supportive and encouraging Emily was throughout the whole program. She was very understanding and put my health first when deciding on how slow to go through each stage. She made the program work for me vs doing a generic program. I was so incredibly grateful I could do the program.

For a child with special healthcare needs, we need providers who are flexible and can work with and around each others recommendations as well as understand the complexity of our daily lives. Marlene has been that for us. I have a clear picture of what Masons nutritional needs are as he advances through different stages within his eating development, as well as how to achieve them. Marlene gives you concrete information that you can take home and apply conveniently throughout the day, which makes life a lot easier. She brings up options for meals, which is extremely helpful. We have been with Marlene for 2 years and have stayed off the g-tube because of her help!

Working with Marlene has been a life altering process. My migraines, body aches, digestion and other symptoms improved 86% in just 1 month! The benefits FAR outweighed the cost. I’m worth feeling this good in my body and about myself! I love how easy Marlene is to work with. She spells things out in an easy to follow way and is accessible for questions when I have them. I am amazed and proud of myself for taking the time to learn the best way to improve my health in the dramatic way that working with Marlene has shown me.

Before I started seeing Marlene, I wasnt really sure about how a nutritionist would help me. I realize now that I had more of a problem than I thought and Im making positive steps towards healing my relationship with food and my body. I needed a good coach and Marlene has been that. She is compassionate and knowledgeable but isnt afraid to ask hard/uncomfortable questions. I like her approach to food. Its steady and grounded. Ive needed that. Thanks Marlene!

I feel so much better and have a much more positive outlook as I try to navigate RA naturopathically! I was surprised that many of my inflammatory foods were completely random (and not items that would typically be eliminated during an elimination diet). Having the option of virtual appointments was pretty great - and all of you are super positive and encouraging! You guys have clearly put a lot of thought into the program. I think everyone could benefit from this awesome program and having the information from an MRT. Thank you!

Working with Marlene has been great. I felt safe and comfortable having open discussion about food and learned many helpful tips for healthier eating, including recipes to make my life easier and a killer grocery list! I also learned about managing weight and how diets dont really help. She helped me set attainable goals and try new things. I definitely recommend Marlene!

I had my doubts about doing MRT+LEAP with Marlene mainly due to the cost of the test, but now that Ive felt the results I can say its absolutely worth it! My symptoms improved 77% in just 14 days! My digestive issues, skin problems, fatigue, brain fog, migraines and more are all so much better. Food actually energizes me now rather than tiring me out. Learning about how even some healthy foods had been contributing to my symptoms has been eye opening. I also have a new found confidence with making food choices which makes eating with friends and family less stressful. I appreciate how non-judgmental Marlene is. She is honest but respectful when addressing hard subjects, which I found to be a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend Marlene and the MRT+LEAP program. If this can help other people the way it has helped me then I would be so happy for them!
