LOVE this dentist! The receptionist, I think her name is Katrina, is exceptional! Shes enthusiastic & helpful, with a great personality! Its clear she loves her job & working there, which tells me a lot. Problems filter down to employees so someone who loves working there usually means its a good place. The dentist & assistant were friendly & made me feel comfortable. The dentist was gentle & for the first time I had a good experience at a dentists. I wholly recommend this place!!

I had a great experience here today. The space is clean and modern, the receptionists were very friendly, and I barely had to wait at all to be called back. The hygienist was the kindest and gentlest I’ve ever had in a cleaning. Both the hygienist and dentist explained things to me clearly and I felt that my questions were answered. There is also a small dedicated parking area that is very convenient. I definitely recommend them!

Ive used this clinic for years and due to the current state of the world my insurance changed, so unfortunately I cant see them this time, but the person who answered the phone was so awesome and referred me to a few clinics that do take my insurance (apple health, so I dont get to be picky!) I so appreciated her taking time to help me get into another clinic and I will be back to see Dr. Goraya when I can because she is the BEST!

Quickest dentists appointment Ive had. I arrived a little early because I was a new patient. I finished the paperwork right on time and was seen within 5 minutes. I came here for the first time today, after 5 or so years of not seeing a dentist. First off, my phone call to make an appointment, the lady was so kind to me and got me in as soon as they had space. She told me information pertaining to my insurance and therefore my future here.I came in, and I was not expecting my dentist to be like that. I came in, gloomy and apprehensive about the news yet to come regarding my teeth. But no, my dentist today was very charismatic, high-energy and extremely friendly and casual. He reassured me a lot, to the point I really felt the need to give at LEAST a 5 star review. He seemed very passionate and always made sure that not only he was taking care of my physical teeth, but my emotional state too, and I am so utterly grateful for this.Its true that I was/am overwhelmed by the compassion and help I received today. I didnt felt any pain during my extraction.I had seen several other dentists but none of them was able to extract my teeth as they referred me to oral surgeons but Dr.goraya did not referred me to oral surgeon and removed my wisdom teeth in just 10 minutes.I am really appreciated her work.She is true professional of her business.Thank you very much for a wonderful experience.

The old lady at the front desk was very unfriendly for no reason.🤷 I was there with my wife for her cleaning appointment. The old lady gave us a new patient form to fill and asked us if we have a hard copy of our insurance card. I politely responded we don’t have a hard copy. And I asked if we could provide a soft copy via email or text message. Then she said she doesn’t need it. So I assumed she would just use my insurance information I provided online. When we handed over the new patient form we filled out back to the old lady, she immediately told us that the cleaning is going to cost us $300’ish. I told her my insurance should cover 100% of any preventive cares. Then she said she doesn’t have my insurance information so she’s charging us the whole amount. What a bummer. 🤦‍♂️ Because I did not provide my insurance card in a hard copy, she just charges me directly without any explanation? I asked her if she could use the insurance information I provided online. Then, she and her assistant sitting next to her started looking up in their computers to find my insurance info. Later, she said for some reason my insurance info was not entered into their system so they have to charge me the whole amount directly. 😪 Could she not just take my insurance info from me verbally or on my phone?? I was going to ask this question to her but then I decided to just leave. I felt she just for some reason doesn’t seem to like us being their patient. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I cannot speak about quality of the service the dentist and hygienists provide, but my experience with the front desk lady was terrible. I would not recommend anyone to this place.

I made an appointment through ZocDoc and was happy to see an Indian professional near me with an open schedule for new patients. I was so excited to get my teeth cleaned after getting my second vaccine shot and Im glad I picked this clinic. The receptionists and hygenist were very nice and efficient and the dentist herself was very thorough. I cant wait to come back to refresh my mouth again. Going to the dentist is some of the best self-care.

Dr. Goraya was great! I made a same day appointment and was a bit worried about COVID protocol. Once there, I had no fear. There is a spacious waiting room, everyone was masked, every protocol you could hope for was followed.Dr. Goraya and Dawson cleaned my teeth and advised with regards to the pain I had been having. There was no upselling of any sort, just a clear statement of my options, with all costs detailed, broken down between my responsibility and what insurance will pay.100% Recommend!

Its had been years since Id been to a dentist due to a bad experience. Going in I was nervous, but the staff was so warm, welcoming, and non- judgemental about my gap in care. They set me up with a care plan, and were transparent about pricing. My husband (who dreads going to the dentist) is scheduling an appointment here because Ive raved about them so much!

I went to Seattles Family Dentistry after a long search of a dentist that took my insurance. After reading all the rave reviews I decided to try this place out. Making an appointment was easy and I was able to get in the next week. The woman who works the front desk is FANTASTIC. She is truly there to help.Im normally really anxious going to the dentist, I mean, who isnt. During my visit the Dr. that cleaned my teeth made sure I was comfortable and periodically checked to see if I was okay. Dr. Goraya is friendly, informative, and personally made my next appointment.I am so glad I found this place and appreciative of the amazing service!

I had a great visit. I had not been to the dentists in several years. I went in with major discoloration on the back side of my teeth and left with pearly whites! The staff was nice and efficient. the appointment was quick, but they made sure I didnt have any questions and made sure all my concerns were met. Finding a new dentists is not an easy process, but I really enjoyed my first visit and scheduled another cleaning.

I came to Seattle family dentistry, because I have been neglecting to go to the dentist for way to long. The last time I went was when I was a child and I got an examination somewhere else. I came here to get an examination which was explained to me on the phone that they will do a full mouth X-ray and check to make sure nothing serious is wrong since I havent been In years. Im honestly terrified of the dentist in a scale of 1-10 Im about a 25 so Im already apprehensive about going. So the day I come in for my appointment I filled out all the paper work they called me back. A girl then proceeds to take my X-rays doesnt explain what she is going to be doing other than open an bite down I was fine with that Ive had X-rays before so I knew what to expect. Then a women comes in I have no idea who she is she doesnt announce her self or even tell me her name.. she begins to get dental tools ready and Im thinking whats going on? She then shes im ready to clean your teeth and by this point Im sweating bullets. I then proceed to tell her no thats not what I came here for? I just came for X-rays and to see whats going on with my teeth if I need any other services cavities, fillings teeth pulled? She then leaves comes back and says the dentist said I need a cleaning I then repeat no. Then a different women comes in no name no introduction then again says we need to clean your teeth or there all going to fall out or were going to pull them out. By this point I was over it I then told her no again and that I would like anesthesia or something to calm. E down. Im not going to let you just clean them with out any explanation or me viewing anything or having a briefing about my teeth. I already knew I needed them cleaned.. they then began speaking in a different language and said you have to get them cleaned I said no again she then took the bib off and said okay your done then.. I left leaving exactly what I already knew and nothing more. That was the most nerve wrecking experience Ill stick to 8to8 dental where they actually talk to the people getting work done and explain everything they are doing and going to be doing.. wont be back here..

I came for a general dental cleaning and xrays. Everyone was very nice and I was out the door 45 minutes later. The cleaning was great and pain free! I did have a question before my appointment and their phone number and operating hours are wrong on their website and my appointment reminder email so it was hard to get ahold of them beforehand but other than that it was great!

Everyone was very friendly and made sure that my fears of needles was addressed. I had been made comfortable and given a blanket for comfort. This is why I keep coming back to them. They have amazing service and treat every person with respect.

My husband *hates* needles to the point of not wanting to get medical care. As a very tough guy, thats hard for him to take, and he hesitated until he just couldnt function before seeking dental help. The doctor and staff at Seattles Family Dentistry were so accommodating and attentive to what was going on with him that he actually went and did his root canal and some other work today, and has an appointment for tomorrow for follow up. That in itself is a miracle, and besides all that, he hasnt been horrible to deal with tonight, only suffering moderate pain. THANK YOU doctor and staff, you are fantastic and Ill recommend you to anyone who asks me do you know a dentist :)

Clean, modern facility with friendly front desk. I got an appointment within a day, which I probably shouldve realized was suspicious. It usually takes me weeks to get on a new dentists calendar!I wasnt impressed with the hygienists or the dentist. I was given 2 hygienists; one that used a water pick and scraper to clean my teeth and then another to do x-rays and polish my teeth. The cleanings and interactions felt awkward, neither had steady hands (I got water and polish on my face), and my teeth honestly didnt feel clean afterwards. The polish was sweet tasting (yuck) and they didnt have a sink to spit into - just sprayed water in your mouth and had something to suck up the water. I wouldve also liked my teeth flossed after to remove some of the polish. I also noticed both hygienists wore some kind of perfume/cologne, which I cant stand as a patient as my sense of smell is super sensitive.Lastly, the dentist wasnt particularly friendly or memorable. Sorry guys, I probably wont be back.

The office is pretty new and modern, with a lovely waiting room. The individual rooms are clean and bright and have tv screens (though viewing is not always offered) and up-to-date equipment. The dentist and her hygienists are friendly and capable. I have no complaints, which is kind of amazing for me, as the daughter of a dentist ;)

The office is beautiful and looks brand new.The office has a designated parking lot and is nearby major bus lines, so it is very convenient. I appreciated the appointment reminder they sent me the day before.I have Apple Health (which they accept!) and without needing to ask, all of their staff explained to me what my insurance does and does not cover. They were very knowledgeable.

This is my 2nd year of going here but they dont give me the usual toothbrush, floss, etc that we normally get from our dentist after cleaning appt. Is it because I have a Provider One insurance? My sister went here too and she got the goodies so I feel they are discriminating based on your insurance. I dont know but this might be my last visit with them.

They were super kind and efficient. They were able to fix two of my old, broken fillings, help me fill out paperwork, and give me xrays and a cleaning within an hour. Everything feels great, and I feel confident about my oral health. Also, while I was there, a gentleman arrived and needed help reaching what seemed like an awful ex-dentist, and these folks were super helpful and comforting for him. Theyre also really kind about helping patients figure out their dental insurance, and they were upfront numerous times about potential costs with/without dental coverage

I had a truly wonderful experience at this dental office. When you first walk in your greeted with a smile and the energy that comes along with it is very calming and knowledgeable. They get you all set up for your appointment take your x-rays, allow you to watch TV while doing so, and have a very relaxing environment. The dental assistant is very kind and gentle with her hands. the hygienist is very precise and Dr. Goraya explains the whole process before you even go through it.I had a tooth extraction recently and the whole experience was painless I highly recommend this practice for anyone who is looking for compassionate care these women are truly amazing!

I had to have 5 teeth extracted. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist were amazing. Katrina really helped me getting the financial part of it cheaper. One of my teeth had broken off and she got me in right away. The office is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. During the extraction I had a panic attack and they ate understanding and helped me bring my anxiety level down. I totally recommend them.

I love the atmosphere here. From the initial walk in the door, to the kind dentists, to the flexible scheduling! I am pregnant and needed two fillings. they scheduled my filings for the next week! And not only were they super sweet! But my two filings at any other dentist have taken an hr at minimum, my dentist numbed me, took care of the filings, and resurfaced my teeth perfectly, all in TWENTY minutes. I love them and will continue to go to them, and will bring my baby here in the future! Thanks SFD!!

We had a great experience with this office! From the very first phone call, to the check out/treatment plan process, each staff member was efficient, kind, compassionate and respectful of their patients. Dr. Goraya has a pleasant bedside manner, as does her assistant. I was impressed with the sincere care and approach to patient care. I definitely will not hesitate to make the hour drive to be seen by her!

Terrible Care. If you dont look like you have money then dont go here. They didnt listen to my questions, literally pretended they didnt hear when I asked for a referral to a specialist. When I asked again I was told to schedule another appointment. When I tried they said I missed too many appointments, which was false, therefore they wouldnt see me. If Id have had better insurance and nice clothes I doubt I wouldve been treated this way.

I have to go to the dentist more often than I like. Dr. Goraya makes my visits, no matter how painful they could be, more pleasurable than any dentist I have ever been to. She has a way of speaking that could only be compared to a valley girl, but, she is still professional, confident, kind, and understanding. Her receptionist is equally nice, helpful, and smiley.

Had a veneer rebonded here, which lasted exactly 3 days before popping off again because it was so poorly done (no effort to remove old cement instesd just pasted a small layer as quickly as possible).Took another vaneer rebonding at a different dentist this week to realize how rediculously unprofessional my experience at seattle family dentisry was. Paid double the price of the 2nd rebonding. Everyone seemed unprofessional, go anywhere but here

Staff is friendly and regular cleaning visits are quick and painless!

The entire team here is kind and really good at their jobs. Dr. Goraya never approaches with judgment or says more than she needs to (e.g. if you flossed more your gums wouldnt bleed, etc.) And on top of it all their practice has been designed so sleek and modern that it really makes you feel like youre in good hands.

Just had a second crown with Dr. Goraya and I couldnt be more pleased. I first went to her years ago when she was the only dentist to take Washington Apple Care (low income). I was impressed with her work then. The first crown had the best temporary of any Id had done previously (and there were many). Fitting the permanent on was a breeze and the bite was correct at first try. I dont know how she manages to do it so well.I had another permanent crown fitted today and again the bite was correct right out of the gate. The temporary was great as well and I could have stayed with it for a much longer time. It felt stable and I knew that it wouldnt come out.Im scheduling yet another one in a few weeks because her work is so good. I now have insurance and would not see anyone else.Her office is modern and clean and state of the art (and TVs at the chairs). The staff is lovely and on top of things.I feel very grateful to have found Dr. Goraya, one of the best dentists Ive ever been to.

When we filled out the paperwork, the very first page was especially for Medicaid patients and listed a bunch of things that they will not do for these patients. The list included an item about drug-seeking and said that if you ask for any specific drug by name, she will not give it to you. I dont have a problem with that policy, but I do object its inclusion on a list of Medicaid-patient-specific policies. Its disgusting and stigmatizing - especially because it is literally the first thing they tell you when you get there - that you will be treated differently because of your financial status, and that they are assuming that you are more likely be a drug-seeker. Other than that, this was a five-star experience. My daughter needs some follow-up care, so well be going back, but I will try to find a better option before her next routine appointment is due.

The worst dentist ever and the receptionist is a low life lady that hates her life! They were over charging me and the doctor told me I have a cavity after she filled it. The crackhead looking receptionist is the worst. She was so rude to me and so were the other staff there. I would never go back!
