Fast, friendly, quality cut for an unbeatable price. I used to just give myself buzz cuts. For the last few months Ive been wearing my hair a tad longer now so that requires professional help.I went to Rudys 3 different times and was butchered 3 different times for the price of $35. You could actually see the scissor lines hacked all over my tapered sides (cleverly hidden with the gel they applied at the end but discovered after the next shower). Or if I didnt tell them about glaring irregularities they didnt seem to notice. (I mean I would have to go home and fix my haircut). I knew about Rudys roulette but 0 for 3 is ridiculous. Here on the other hand all the little obviously needed micro adjustments were attended to with precision and ease.I dont love when places charge me more for a womens cut when its the same haircut they give to a million men for less. But in this case I have zero complaint because its still just $14 (vs $12).I heard of May Hair Design via my coworker, and Im here to keep the praise moving along.Come support this business, the hipster barbers at Rudys can hack away on someone else. I know this review sounds like a slam at Rudys, and it is; but the point is to draw the comparison that May Hair Design is SO much better! I just left happy as clam with my cute haircut and am looking forward to my next visit.

May and her staff are incredible!! Their hair cuts are high end salon quality, but a fraction of the price, and no wait! I usually go to May and decided to try another place who messed up my hair-- May was able to fix it in no time, without taking off too much length like I asked her to.

I have been going to May for the past twelve years. She always does an amazing job. I tend to want more volume because my hair is on the thinner side and she always delivers! I have received haircuts from big name hair salons before and I always prefer Mays more. Thank you May!

Parking is a little strange, you have to drive over the curb and be careful not to back into a tree or telephone pole cable. The place is a little iffy from the outside but May does a good job, is inexpensive, and if you give her a heads up she can accommodate multiple people at once.
