I got my haircut by Sarah. She was super attentive to my hair concerns and needs (I have really put it through the ringer) and was able to keep a lot of length while making it feel and look much healthier. She also was able to configure the requested haircut with how much (or in my case- little) time I spend on styling my hair to make sure it fit my lifestyle. I highly recommend her.

After a disaster at another salon left my hair orange, I made an appointment with Rene at Bowie Salon. As someone with similar hair, she really understands how to get a blonde that suits you without damaging fine hair. After almost 3 hours, she lightened most of the orange and brown splotches to a lovely, cool blonde. Due to the amount of time required, it was a bit pricy, but imo, worth it.If you have a similar hair emergency or just want a stylist who actually listens to what your goal is, I recommend Rene at Bowie. :)

Stephanie was all booked up for the time I was looking for, but I still wanted to move forward and was open to any stylist based on the reviews.The communication from everyone on the Bowie team was incredible. I got a balayage from Suki almost a year ago and it’s grown out sooo nicely! I get compliments still all the time about it! Definitely worth the price and had an excellent experience here.

Sarah did a fabulous job! She has a great eye and completely understood my hair type - fine but lots of it, with a slight wave... I highly recommend her in particular. My haircut was pricey but I think the cut/shape/styling is so good Ill be able to go longer without another visit.

Sarah has done my cut and highlights several times and I am very pleased every time. She is pleasant, precise and efficient. She even cut my nephew’s hair (he is 5). He has experienced some bad hair cuts elsewhere in the past. He officially declared that he will “only come to this place to get his haircut from now on.” She and everyone there is wonderful. They use Kerastase products which are the best. I’m happy to have found this salon as I just moved to Seattle in the summer.

Super convenient, their online booking is simple and if you have a schedule that’s busy and can’t commit to a future appointment a month in advance they will send daily updates that show openings for the day. Sarah does my entire family’s hair, I highly recommend.

Sarah is amazing! She did an excellent job cutting my hair paying attention to hair type and made suggestions for hair color (or rather working with my gray/white covid lack of coloring). She showed me pictures of what she had in mind and thoroughly explained the process. Hair cut and the highlighting (foils) are perfect - part I - lightening up my brown hair so that the gray/white blends better and no more root touch ups. It has been a few weeks and I love the new look even more every day - noticed that I am not stressing over roots because it blends so well. Looking forward to part II in early April - then highlights every 12 weeks or so - this is a look I am loving and will be easy to maintain. Also the salon is taking covid seriously and I am very comfortable with the salon and all their staff. SO HAPPY!

Over priced for a color and cut but I will say that the staff was great, very courteous and polite. My wife enjoyed the 2 hours she was there.. :-)

My girlfriend CRIED, thinks she has COVID, & hates her haircut.She is a high risk health individual and is extra scared to be in public places because of her high risk health situation.When she walked in, No Body had a masks on. Nobody! They claim to have been Vaccinated.... they are NOT doctors or public health experts, they are hair stylists.Just because you’ve been vaccinated does NOT mean you can’t pass Covid to other people. You can read that on the CDC website. The vaccine can protect the vaccinated individual from covid, but the symptomless vaccinated person CAN pass covid to someone else. And with all the people they come in contact with at their business and in their personal life.... irresponsible at best.So they are maskless for their convenience, not for the good or safety of the customer.AND her haircut turned out terrible. She ended up with a basic Bob haircut.She showed pictures of what she wanted, which was a style of haircut that left one side longer then the other, and the girl ended up giving her a basic Bob haircut with both sides completely even. She cried when I picked her up. Still is right now.She had long hair and now she will have to wait many months to even try to get the haircut she wants again. Because they totally screwed it up. She showed them clear pictures of what she wanted.We have family coming in town today and she wanted to look nice, now she looks like the most “vanilla kindergarten teacher” her words.And she is scared she has covid because the hair stylists think they understand communicable disease. Clearly they barely understand cutting hair.Extremely utterly very very very disappointed and upset.

I am so thankful to the therapist for doing such an incredible facial session! I thanked her for exerting much of his effort and time in working on the given task. Ive been to sooo many salons in search of someone who can manage my super thick asian hair and both Frances and Stephanie have done phenomenal jobs! I got curtain bangs from Stephanie and they turned out super cute (photo). I love the clean, simple setup of the space and the care and attention the staff take with hair. There is also a good selection of products that you can purchase!

Practically the only place in Seattle that you can buy niche hair products like Shu Uemera. You can order online and pick up in store, and theyre really accommodating with substitutions and free samples if they cant fulfill your original order. Aaaaand theyre extremely kind!!!

Had a very disappointing first visit to the salon. I went in for a hair color touch up, nothing radical just something that I have gotten done twice over the last two years in a different salon. I wanted to give Bowie a try because it’s closer home, bad decision. The end result was not even close to what I wanted, infact they changed the color that I had originally and turned it into a disaster. The stylist told me that I would need to get 2-3 appointments to get the desired result, umm what? I have gotten the same thing done twice in the past, each in just one visit! Please know that its ok to admit you don’t know how to do something but please don’t rip off your clients by convincing them that you understood what needs to be done. Your clients rely on your professionalism to understand the requirement and execute it. This was a waste of my time and money. Disappointed.

Best service for amazing hair! Ive been coming here for the past 2 years. I have long curly hair and in the past I had a really bad balayage experience that left my hair extremely damaged, after extensive online research I came across Hair Healers and booked an appointment with the amazing Dania.

Saw Jane for a full sombre and haircut. She was amazing! She understood exactly what I was asking for, and her recommendations for hair care at home have really changed the way my hair feels in an amazing way. Wonderful salon. I’m new to the area and Sarah not only gave me a great cut & highlight, she wrote down a list of area restaurants and places to visit and made me feel totally welcome. I brought my 3 teenage daughters and they loved Sarah too.

The stylists that work here are smart, and they actually listen to you. When I describe what I want, I get what I want. If anything is even slightly off, they are happy to correct it, but most of the time its exact from the first try and they will take the time your hair needs to be perfect.

Karly is my go-to girl with color. She is a lovely young woman who is so gracious. Bowie Salon has excellent Services. Reasonably priced. They even offer parking in a lot right next door to their salon.

Salon Bowie, has an amazing secret weapon that I call the hair sommelier. I am a 42, no fuss, no maintenance, no product kind of woman. I grow it, cut it off, donate, repeat. I recognize I have beautiful hair that lets me ignore it, with one caveat, it needs a good cut or it will frizz or be too heavy to lay nice. Scott is fantastic, Ive come here for years, the first time I explained bad experiences/concerns and what I wanted out of my experience; to relax, possibly nap, get a great cut with someone that will push me a little and that I can defer to their expertise with no maintenance routine, I have other things Id rather do. Tall order maybe, but he is great at pairing me with a stylist that can deliver what I want in a great experience to boot. Thank you for that, getting in the chair confident that Ill come out looking great is awesome!

I had Stacie cut my hair - and I think her first consultation was very good. first haircut pretty good for $150 but way over priced following and lack of attention to detail or outcome with following appointments. As well, I found Stacies personality off putting - very haute and sort of full of herself vs. respectful to customers and other peoples differences. In the end I decided for a way over priced haircut - I should better enjoy being around my hair stylist than I did with Stacie. Unfortunate because I do think she is talented with a good PR person who has bumped up her online reputation - just would have liked to have had the content of her work meet the hype even if Im not out an LA runway, famous nor amongst the very Rich. I was hoping for a great haircut experience and a bit of style transformation - and found myself disappointed.

Had my haircut here by the owner and instead of her spending time asking me what I wanted she tried to up-sell me the entire visit, said I had frizzy hair and needed a separate service for that , left 150.00 worth of product at the front and when I went to check out they automatically assumed I wanted them, when I questioned why the bill was so high for a haircut the receptionist went down the total and listed off the products that they had recommended? In the end they cleared from my bill... I had another appointment for a different service and person, decided not to go to that cancel and they kept my deposit as a in salon credit? Be warned this place is a first class rip off!

I went to Bowie Salon and Spa after I had a horrible experience at another salon. Everyone at Bowie treated me so nicely and was generally concerned about my bad experience wanting to make it right. My stylist had a mess to deal with due to the fact that the salon I previously went to died my hair orange and left me with chemical burns on my head. But she performed a miracle and now my hair looks great! I cant thank them enough! I will never be going to another salon again.

Stacie is far more concerned with her own best interest than she is for her clients. You would think that for the amount of money ($500/foil)she charges for her services (even though her staff/assistants do most of the work), that she would make sure you are absolutely happy with it and it ended up how you wanted. She treated my wife very poorly and was incredibly condescending. My wife went there to get the best Seattle had to offer, but ended up having to go to another salon afterwards to get her hair corrected. Just want to let people know that if they go to Bowie Salon, they should be aware that Stacies time is worth more than yours and you will not receive the special attention you would expect to be standard. I think the Queen needs a reality check. Shes only as good as her last review...

The worst cut and color Ive ever received. Stacy was rude and unprofessional. I went because I googled Best Salon in Seattle. I realize now that the owners themselves must have put a lot of work into Google Adwords, because there is no way that this is the best salon. Its not even a good salon. Save yourself a lot of grief, dont go.
