Patrice is so thorough, kind, and creative. She creates a comfortable and healing environment that puts me at ease. Along with relaxing acupuncture she uses aromatherapy and other techniques like cupping and topicals. I feel heard by her and she always addresses the issues most important to me for my healing. I leave every appointments with her feeling SO much better. I am very grateful to have been recommended to her by a friend. I recommend her to anyone in need of healing, especially those who are pregnant. She’s provided a lot of relief for the pregnant people I have recommend her to and has even helped promote turning in breech babies!

I have gone to Patrice for my last two pregnancies. She helped me get on track with my cycles/ovulation, which I truly believe helped me get pregnant. Then during my pregnancies, she has shown me amazing care. I had high-risk pregnancies due to a condition called cholestasis in pregnancy and gestational diabetes. She has successfully treated me for both. I recommend Patrice to anyone thinking about acupuncture. You won’t regret it!

I am so glad I found Patrice! Not only is she great at what she does, but she is a wonderful person to get to know. Throughout my three pregnancies I have gone to her for pubic symphysis pain, induction and fertility help, back pain, and all other sorts of “fun” things pregnancy brings. Beyond that, her practice has also offered me a place of solace and peace going through a high risk pregnancy, losing my child, a miscarriage and then birthing two healthy children. I cannot more highly recommend Patrices acupuncture services. I went to see her during my first trimester for primarily nausea treatment, but also hormonal, mood and anxiety. It was highly effective and I credit it for overcoming my morning sickness sooner than expected. She is highly intuitive, caring, knowledgeable and creative. I really enjoyed the acupuncture treatments by Patrice. I had 4-5 sessions with her in the weeks leading up to my sons birth. She was very caring, supportive, knowledgeable, and competent. I felt relaxed and focused on my birth. I recommend her to anyone preparing for their birth.

Patrice is amazing! She not only knows what shes doing as far as acupuncture, but shes an incredibly helpful resource for anything fertility or pregnancy-related (including recommendations for local hospitals, doctors, midwives, etc). I went to her for fertility issues and she gave me expert advice - including recommending I see a doctor much sooner than I planned for a condition. That advice was spot on and I got the condition treated much sooner than if I had waited longer as others had recommended. She saved me a lot of time and disappointment. Im now 3 months pregnant. Shes helped immensely with my nausea (acupuncture and advice), and I plan to keep seeing her for issues that are sure to pop up over the next 6 months. Highly recommended!!!

I have been seeing Patrice for nearly a year. In that time, she has provided me with high quality and professional acupuncture/Chinese medicine treatment that has supported me throughout pregnancy (both before and during). As someone from Hong Kong who has been seeing Chinese medicine practitioners her entire life, I trust Patrice to deliver highly effective treatment. Patrice is the BEST!! I started treatments with her over a year ago and I so very much look forward to seeing her each week. She is compassionate, empathetic, and provides a safe space, free of judgement. I have been receiving acupuncture with Patrice for more than a year and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Her treatments have greatly helped me through a variety of health concerns when western medicine was letting me down. She is thoughtful, has a gentle manner and genuinely listens to her clients.

Overall, very disappointed with our experience and cannot recommend. We were not informed of rates/charges up front when we inquired and ended up being charged over $300 dollars for a 1.5hr initial appointment.Be very aware, Patrice is not transparent with her rates. I asked to see if she can give us a discount and she claims Im asking her to commit insurance fraud, what a joke. Dishonest and very outrageous rates. BE AWARE!!!!! She is a RIPOFF!! Weve gone to other acupuncturists now and they all disclose and list their rates upfront.

Do yourself a favor , come to Patrice for your acupuncture treatments! If you haven’t ever gotten one, then set an appointment with her and you’ll get hooked. If you have gotten acupuncture in the past but didn’t get what the fuss is, get an appointment with her.My examples of her magic work are too many to list but one of my favorites is few months ago I hiked maple pass loop to see the larches and on the way back twisted my ankle. Two days later I came to Patrice and she worked on my ankle and bam. That weekend I was back out on the mountains.Love her!

Patrice has a great depth of knowledge around fertility and womens health. I have been working with her for almost a year and appreciate her nurturing style and responsiveness.

I would like to respond to Becky Kungs review with the same response I gave her husband (who was not my patient). It is fortunate for Canadians that they have their health care covered by their government and do not have to pay copays, premiums and deductibles. Unfortunately, that is not the case here in the states. I believe Becky did not understand how our insurance works here and that she would have to pay off her deductible prior to her benefits kicking in. I always explain that when people first come in and when it is the new year and deductibles have to be met. I cannot right off or adjust someones payment when the insurance company applies something towards the deductible, that is insurance fraud. I do offer sliding scale rates and give pro-bono treatments to those in need. I am generous with my time. I wish this couple well on their journey in parenthood and in life in the United States and hope that the US will also one day take care of its citizens the way Canada does.I would also like to add that in the 20 years I have been practicing acupuncture, I have given 350,00+ treatments. I saw Becky 1 time. Sometimes you just arent a good match, that happens and again I wish her well.

I will not visit Patrice ever again. Patrice was not transparent about her rates to me, she needs to disclose rates to new patients because this was not upfront in my initial visit.Additionally I’ve been treated from a different acupunturist for years, and when I visited Patrice unfortunately I did not see any results or benefits from her treatment.

I wanted to comment on Jim Kungs review. First of all, he was not my patient. His wife was, I never met him. They were not charged over 300 dollars for their first visit. Regence, their carrier, contracts specific fees with me directly. Regence reimburses a First Office Call rate as well as for the acupuncture services, and it happens to be a decent professional rate for Acupuncturists. This was applied to their deductible. As they are from Canada, I think they were surprised at the rate that Regence allows for. Even after we explained to them that their insurance in fact covered their visit and applied it to their deductible, and after we had explained that what they were asking us to do was essentially insurance fraud, they still kept trying to finagle it so that they could pay less. They wanted me to let the insurance company apply the amount to the deductible, but then charge them less. In good will I offered either of them a complimentary treatment, since she wasnt unhappy with her care, only having to pay the deductible.This couple also referred to me as greedy knowing nothing about my practice, me, nor the fact that I actually give pro bono care to low income women, pregnant teens and donate my time at Homeless clinics.Please check with your insurance and your benefits and discuss with Provider prior to your treatment so there are no surprises.Fortunately, this kind of experience is rare, and as I have been in practice for almost 20 years, I truly enjoy my patients.
