Robert keeps a lovely office and has a relaxed demeanor. His knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and flower essences is a great compliment to the acupuncture treatments. After a series of treatments, I feel noticeable improvement in my neck and shoulders. The energetic balancing he does is a great overall benefit.

I’ve read so many good reviews of Robert, that I decided to schedule a session. I had right knee pain going on 4 weeks and having tried other natural therapies to no avail, I was eager to see what he couldDo. On our first visit, Robert placed 3 hyper thin acupuncture needles around my knee (which didn’t hurt a bit when inserted). He then used a “non-insertion” type of needle to work on other related acupuncture points. The first thing I noticed was not an immediate reduction in knee pain, but a noticeable decrease in my anxiously beating heart. (I admit, I was somewhat anxious seeing a new acupuncturist). A wave of full body relaxation followed by a warm sensation around the knee. MUCH more blissed out than I expected. Later that day, I challenged the knee by climbing the Howe Street stairs on Capitol Hill and was able to ascend/descend with very minimal pain! At least 90% less than over the previous 4 weeks! Ive now seen Robert 4 times and have noticed improvements in sleep, continued reduction in resting heart rate (by 20bpm), and my knee remains pain-free. Overall im really impressed with my care. Robert has a very calming presence and is remarkably intuitive. He listens attentively not only to what you say, but to the subtle rhythms and nuances of your body.
