My sister and bother-in-law are both physicians so I am use to only seeing the best doctors.I have been going to see Dr. Lesser for years. I now take my children to go see him. He is great. He really knows his stuff and unlike other doctors I go see, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room.His staff has always been super friendly and always helpful.One of the best ways to find out if a doctor is well respected is to see what other doctors think of him. Unlike those doctors who pay for ads in magazines or web pages that say they are the, Best doctor, he is truly respected by his peers. I always laugh when I see those ads and the ads for the places that were supposedly voted, the best steak houses in America.Dr. Lesser is a former Chief of Staff of Good Samaritan Hospital. According to my sister, you are elected to the Chief of Staff position by your fellow physicians - not by opening your check book and writing a check to a publisher. In fact, he is the only Ophthalmologist to ever hold that position in the hospitals history. You cant get a better peer review than that. Dr. Lesser is one of the most respected Ophthalmologists in San Jose. I wouldnt think twice about referring him to anyone or sending my family to go see him.
