As a person who got his surgery and have good vision on paper, it feels as though my eyes are unable enjoy screens at all now. I have to turn the brightness and contrast down on every screen. Turn on the blue light filtering. I also use blue light glasses(the point of the surgery was to avoid glasses) My eyes are extremely sensitive to light and most rooms with normal lighting causes me discomfort. In addition, if I try to focus my vision like I did in the past, this causes immediate irratation, as if my eye health is not a hundred percent. My eyes are always red, and appear irritated 90% of the time, even with eye drops and proper accomodations.I have become skeptical of this procedure and weary from the side effects.

The staff were friendly, respectful, and careful. Doctor Ellis was a great person. I feel brilliant after did my lasik surgery. Looking at computer will make you strange but it will fix within a few days.

Dr. Ellis has performed extensive treatment for me and Ive always been completely satisfied with the results. His staff is very competent and friendly. I recommend this office and if you are having vision issues and considering lasik treatment, I can highly recommend him. I am an oral surgeon and dentist and vision is imperative to the performance of my work. Dr Ellis has seen to keeping me at my top performance. Dr. Merv Chang

Office didnt seem as clean as others I had visited, equipment didnt smell like it had been wiped before being used and I didnt see anyone clean anything with alcohol swabs. Also, treatment coordinator seemed to gloss over important information, didnt really give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Looking through brochures, looks like their equipment is on older side too. Glad I passed on this place. Ended up going to Laser Vision Institute in San Bruno.On positive note, they were proactive in seeking out this review!

I went there today 1/10/18 with my father. First of all there wasnt any Dr. Ellis there. Ive been told that he is only working on Fridays and only for surgeries. Another doctor did the exam. They took $250 from my father because of his age and the lady doctor repeated multiple times that he is going to get a complete eye exam and i am getting only lazier evaluation exam. During my exam I noticed that they didnt know how the tools work and their excuse was that their technician is not there, and i wonder why they make appointments if they knew the tech is not gonna be there and if their doctor can not work with tools without the help of tech?Then I learned that they knew from the beginning that my father wont be qualified for lazer because of his age and I wonder why they didnt say anything, Did they want the $250? so cheap people. Then the doctor told me that she is going to write me a prescription but she forgot to do that. She also told me that she can not give me the report but she will write me the diagnoses of my eye, but she didnt do that either. And the exam of my father suppose to be much much longer than mine based on their own words but she spend only one third of the time that she spend on me, and my father get the minimum exam while he paid $250. In general the clinic was very unorganized, very untrue about their service, and very unpleasant. i do not recommend it to anyone.

So scary!!! I’ve been to two other doctors before this one. Dr furlong is where I think I’m going to go. True these guys were the cheapest $4000 compared to $6500 w furlong. However I’m going to pay the acres money bc of the vibe I got from this place. First of all there was another patient in the same room as me for my exam, the office was very dirty, and it felt like a low cost clinic. The people in the waiting room were mostly Hispanic and it was a very different scene from the other places I went. So when I got into the exam room it was so small and cramped that the door literally got me when I had my chin the the measuring apparatuses, bc Someone wakes in!!! I felt like I was at the dmv here, when the other two offices were very clean and professional. So this place wanted to dilate my eyes when none of the other places needed to do this. Beware bc you can’t see well for two hours and this should be told to you before the exam so you can have someone else drive you home, next when signing paperwork in big red print it says “you agree to use arbitration and give up your right to attorney”!!! Obviously they’ve had some issues in the past, then they were eating pizza and snacks right next to where they are doing the exam, and the last straw for me was the disgnosis when they told me the opposite at what the other two doctors told me about being a candidate for LASIK!! I came here wanting to save money but my eyes are to precious to worry about a couple grand!!!

Hi. I am very satisfied with the surgery, I did not want out of fear but the flesh was already very deep so I had to do it, very well attended, the nurses in front of me were very friendly, the surgery 5 minutes fast I recovered I am well with my view 20-20

The prices are lies to me they wanted to charge me 5000 and they told me that it was two for one. lie

A wonderful result. In a place with very good attention and responsibility. I will deal with them if I need it again.
