I have been seeing Dr. Vatsan for nearly 4 years.I found the office online(through google) and made an appointment, which was a really easy process and good experience.Dr. Vatsan is a very good listener and observer. She will make sure that all our questions are answered, we are on the page and feel comfortable. Dr. Vatsan combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss.She’s also an excellent surgeon. HIGHLY recommend.

My visit to the doctor was pleasant. Good staff, got in without a wait. Both the doctor and her assistant patiently heard my concerns and have addressed it. Happy overall. I hope the medication will help. I was also able to call in a day before and confirm my appointment. Booking my appointment was hassle free online.

I first saw Dr. Vatsan in early 2020. She was kind and a good doctor. When it came time to rescheduling for my annual visit this year, however, she/her office never responded to my multiple phone calls or messages. I found a new doctor that is more responsive and will be going to her from now on.

Dr. Lakshmi is a fantastic doctor. She addressed all my concerns so patiently and comforted me throughout my pregnancy. I would highly recommend her.

The Visits with Dr.Lakshmi has been smooth till now,Dr.Vatsan is very knowledgable,gives enough time during visit,very friendly staff,easy to reach,staff will respond through emails even after business hours which is very helpful and stress free making sure you are in safe hands.Namratha, one of staff member is very responsible and makes sure you are answered everytime.As far as billing concerns,till now had no issues and its been good.Highly Recommmend!

Dr.Vatsan is knowledgeable and friendly obgyn have ever met,neat book keeping .staff is helpful,friendly environment,Office manager(if im not wrong) Namaratha is on her toes to help patients,responds even after business hours which is much needed and to rely on,no hiccups in billing,overall good experience.

Hi,Just to make you aware, the Dr. online 5 min prescription writing also bill you like office visit and amount $325!! The best when disputed with this office as to why this is not coded with telemedicine code, there was a receptionist (in July 2020.. may be fired later?) first said they don’t have it! Then after 5-6 calls I forgot and later to my surprise, received a mail stating that this office send the details payment to collection agent!!! And they don’t have a netbanking way to paying also.. if u don’t have check or go there and pay cash! via Credit card have 4% fee! When asking why this fee? Dr said we are small office (by the way Dr. takes calls while seeing patients- another bad practice!) she couldn’t keep her receptionist! However she have money to use collection agent!I wish I could give 0 stars(as the med didn’t work also for my wife maybe of low dose and we had to visit another OBGYN!Note: also who says I’m ‘BEST in X’ avoid them (check the google search you will see what I meant!)

Dr.Vatsan was great during my pregnancy and the thing i like the most about her is how she empowers the patient for shared decision making. She takes her time to explain and provide all possible options and makes her best recommendation without imposing her opinion. She is proactive in ordering tests when there is even the slightest doubt and is on top of things needed for a diagnosis. I highly recommend her as an Ob!

I would highly recommend Dr.Lakshmi Vatsan. We felt relaxed and safe through out the pregnancy period.As a first time parent, we were having lot of doubts and questions and Dr.Vatsan helped us in clarifying all our questions. She was available through out the labor period and made sure my wife is doing good. Even though she is located very far from our residence. Without having any second thoughts We trusted her and travelled those extra miles and now we feel we took a right choice in choosing Dr.Vatsan.

This office never answers your calls right away. They expect you to leave a voice message and then when they have a chance they will “call you back” (which means the next following day or two) I tried to switch my appointment and they took two days to call me back.Also, the day that I finally got the appointment, in the morning (same day) they cancel me since the doctor had an emergency surgery to perform. I understand some situations, but I think the office just lacks of professionalism. And the front desk service is terrible, I don’t know if they need to hire more people or organize better the administration of the office. Doctor herself is friendly. However, I had to go to another doctor where everything went smooth, no delays, no circumstances. Now I have my baby ultrasound and a lot of knowledge regarding my pregnancy.Days pass on and I can’t take weeks to do an ultrasound, lab work, or know when will be my appointment, I have to be organized with my plans and I think most people are.

I recommend Dr.Lakshmi any day! Very professional. Takes good and timely decisions,which matters the most! I was very comfortable talking to her right from day one,as she was addressing all my queries patiently. She is a very patient listener, the most required attribute of a good doctor. As far as the support staff is concerned, I have had a very good experience. Especially Namratha is a very efficient and a responsible person. I always get a prompt response from her😊.

Please update your appointment calendar with proper available time slots. I have been trying get an appointment for my wife since last two weeks and all the requests got declined. Tried calling the front desk and it will automatically directs to voice over and suggests to book an appointment through patientfusion portal (which is always not up to date). As a medical professionals understand that a person who needs a medical advice/help during pregnancy cannot wait for a month or two and with the false calendar updates in your portal we are just wasting our time with a hope to get an appointment.One advice is if you are declining a patients appointment request then please do let them know what is the next nearest availability to decide them whether to wait or not.

Dr.Lakshmi Vatsan is very cordial, takes time to explain and makes sure you are presented with all the options before having to make a decision. Her warm smile is comforting and welcoming.Shout out to Namratha at the front desk for being methodical and friendly!

Dr.Vatsan changed my perception of pregnancy, labor and delivery. She is very gentle, caring, compassionate and places the patients comfort in the first place. I wouldnt have been confident if not for her. She is awesome !!!

I had been to Dr.Vatsan for my first pregnancy. She took good care of me and baby and has great bed side manners.Though the wait times are extremely long [ over an hour some times with prior appointment], Doctor gave enough time to ask questions and answered all my questions during the visit.i am giving 2 stars for the following reasons:- Very poor book keeping for after visit summary. I had to keep track of my weight and blood pressure instead of having them track the data- Not so hygienic restroom- Doctor did to not record all my symptoms that I mentioned during postpartum visit due to which I ended up with loss of pay from my employer.- All card transactions are charged additional feeI would like to give a shout out to staff member - Namratha, who is quite responsive with all the queries I had for Doctor.

Dr.Vatsan is really friendly and explained everything about the pregnancy stages to me and took care of me every time. My first pregnancy is in good hands and I’m feeling very happy for it.

Journey of my pregnancy and delivery with Dr Lakshmi Vatsan have been really awesome. Every follow up used to infuse new energy. There was a personal touch in each meet. We felt she was very methodical. I personally liked her a lot and highly recommend her to soon moms-to-be.

Update: My issue was with the admin staff that was rude and not responsive or failed to follow up after several reminders. We personally liked the doctor it was just the follow ups with the front desk that made us nervous.There has been a recent change in the staff. Corrine (if I spelled that right) has been helpful and super nice. Follow ups have been great!! and I actually enjoy talking to them its not stressful anymore. Would recommend the doc for the personal care !!Thank you!!

I had a very good experience in overall my pregnancy. There were couple of complications in my pregnancy and that was perfectly handled by her. Her ability of foreseeing things and taking decision on time has made my delivery successful.

Doctor is good but the office do not make an effort to bill it to the insurance and conveniently bill entire amount to your credit card. And wouldnt respond when needed or wouldnt give you detailed bill structure for us to file a claim

Dr. Vatsan is very methodical and patient. She is very approachable and helps us understand the course of her diagnosis and treatment. For all my OBGYN-related queries/concerns, without any second thoughts I visit her and she has been always helpful. Definitely recommend! Front-desk support is average - but I am ok with that because of Dr. Vatsan.

Dr Lakshmi Vatsan helped deliver our first child and we are grateful for her phenomenal patience particularly during labor and her help throughout my wifes pregnancy. She took time answering our questions and appease our anxiety during the entire process. To sum up, I have no hesitation in stating her professional, kind and highly recommend her.

This doctor is a money making machine, she is available for very less time , she is not flexible , her timings are not suitable for working ladies , they charge money for phone calls with doctor vatsan even for patient consulatation. They don’t have good setup at clinic for pregnant ladies , they send you here and there for various tests. They charge lot of money for unnecessary visits forced on patients, do not even refund incorrect billing. They charge more than what insurance companies allow them from patients. Worst ever OBGYN I have ever visited. After bad experience with her I changed my doctor and They have not billed even a single penny till date.

Most amazing doctor. From scheduling appointments to care provided throughout my pregnancy journey has been very smooth. Personal attention she gives to her patients is commendable. Will definetly recommend her for any obg/gyn issues.

I have had a horrible experience with Dr. Vatsan. She did not come to the hospital for my delivery, even when I was pushing for 90 minutes. I had a 3rd degree tear because of this. She disappeared after that, like I wasnt her patient at all. She did not even come during discharge or give me the prescription for pain killers. My husband had to run to her clinic to get it. When I confronted her on our 6 week appointment, she did not even remember why she was not able to come (during my delivery and during discharge!). She apologized for the bad experience I had, but did not own up to it. She kept blaming her front desk and the el camino hospital staff.

Dr. Vatsan is probably the best OB/GYN we have ever met. Ever since the start of my wifes pregnancy, we have consulted Dr. Vatsan. The experience has been fantastic and fulfilling! Dr. Vatsan is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to deal with adverse situations extremely well, at the same time making her patients feel at ease. Dr Vatsan delivered our darling daughter on 2nd July. We will remain grateful to Dr. Vatsan forever. I am a little disappointed to see a 3.9 rating on google. Anyone reading this review, please dont go by the google rating provided by a few folks who might have had to wait for 5 extra minutes at the clinic. Dr. Vatsan is nothing less than a 5* for us! I would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Lakshmi Vatsan for all your OB/GYN needs.

The front desk staff is incompetent and unprofessional. Made is wait for long even though we had an appointment and the patients who came after us were attended before us.
