Came for a same day appointment. Service by front desk and the medical team were good. Very thorough with explanations. The place is also well furnished. Great experience! Be sure to call early as them and the Palo Alto locations both fill up quickly.

Just got home from this place, and although I feel awful, they are awesome 👏🏻. I see why the insurance costs more than the cheapo option from my employer now. Very professional, unbelievably clean, aesthetically pleasing office, no prison window to talk through, and very kind. I love that the doctor kept asking me, “what do you think you have?” and we were going through differential diagnoses. 👍👍

Would NEVER recommend this location. The comments here about the absurd pricing are absolutely correct. I have great insurance and have never been charged more than $150 total for anoffice visit (insurance+my cost). But was charged $700 for 15 minute office visit + tests.

I am impressed with Dr. Srinivasans team at this express care. I got more individualized attention, when I came in for an ear infection, and were so professional, and courteous. She gave me antibiotic and pain medications when i came in due to ear pain, irritated ear canal, and skin irritation. They were transparent and patient with my needs.

The staff was nice and the facility was excellent. However, I am very disappointed with the cost. They billed nearly $800 for a strep test and my insurance only covered half. I did not expect going in that it would cost nearly $400 to be seen for a severe cold. I will not be returning.

Unprofessional stuff. At the front desk they told me my visit would be cost 30 dollars depends on my insurance copay and after 10 days I got a bill with additional 20 dollars. My appointment was with an assistant, but they send an information that was a specialist to my insurance. They told that they have an old data bases about doctors and they couldnt say you exact price.. I am lucky that it is just 20 dollars.

Sending the prescription for antibiotics to pharmacy was very slow. Also male clerk at the front desk was rather arrogant when I asked to have the prescription sent to another pharmacy that was on my way home. He didnt make the change, explaining that it would take very long, hence it is better stay with my default pharmacy, which I did. Arrived at this default pharmacy 1h later, and they dont have the prescription yet.

Most of the negative review seems to be surrounded with the way fees/bills not being clear and not upfront. I was skeptical about the fees and was even afraid to go here because the fear of receiving huge bills afterwards. I do see the gap between insurance and clinics and its always advised to check with your insurance about coverage before getting the service.Express care is an extension of primary care and if you have the right insurance its the same copay as the primary care office visit. I went in with high fever and was diagnosed with pneumonia. The doctor prescribed me with antibiotics and I was feeling better the next day. This express care compared to the regular primary care which I wont get an office visit until 3 month in the future (probably going to be dead by then) definitely beats anything.

I got billed $3.3k for a 15 minute visit with a PA. That is on top of 1k bill for blood work. Absolutely ridiculous. Might of been cheaper to go to the emergency room visit. The PA was nice, etc but even so it doesnt justify the very high price. This is exactly what is wrong in this country and no one is looking at why are these costs so high. This is pure extortion by Stanford. Learned my lesson the hard way. STAY AWAY unless you can afford these extortion prices.

I just gave 1 star because of the ridiculous bills. I just went to this clinic for a very small problem (A small wound on my leg) and I was charged almost $1000.Will never go to this clinic again. Will never recommend this to anyone who knows the value of every bit of the hard earned money! Just get ready to be be looted when you go to this clinic.Such clinics just make people like me think twice or thrice to even go to a doctor when something unusual occurs (which should never be the case when it comes to health)!

Went to Stanford Express Care when I was sick. They ran a blood test and found that my potassium levels were extremely low. The doctor called a 24 hour pharmacy to prescribe potassium supplements and called me to make sure I got them. At the follow-up appointment on Sunday, labs showed that potassium levels dropped further and they called Stanford ER to let them know I would be checking in, once arriving at the ER, I was seen by the doctors within 5 minutes. If blood tests werent done at the express care, this more serious health issue wouldnt have been uncovered. Im impressed by the service and how quickly they reacted to make sure that the health issue didnt become critical.UPDATE:I took my daughter to to express care for a stomach bug and had to be referred to the ER for dehydration. Dr. Gross from express care followed up with the ER to see how she was doing and called in the evening to check on her.The level of care from the doctors, nurses, and front desk staff have exceeded my expectations, keep it up!

If I can give NEGATIVE stars, I would. I had a similar experience as the other reviewers, this clinic billed an exorbitant amount for simple lab tests. My bill was $778 compared. In comparison, I paid $22 for an urgent care center that I visited for the same medical issue. Both figures were after insurance discount; thus apple to apple comparison.

My experience here was great. It was a very short wait on a Sunday morning. The doctor was friendly, forthright, and un-rushed. She scheduled lab work for me the same day and called me back later that evening with the results. I could not ask for anything to be better.

I have had multiple awful experiences at this center. The staff are unprofessional starting with the greeter at front desk, the medical assistants treat patients like animals, and the doctors are rude and speak down to patients. They have the bedside manner of a wet rag, especially Dr. Gross. I will never return again.

$659 is what they bill for a strep culture. Thats on top of the copay. My insurance wouldnt pay and I doubt yours will either. If you have a sore throat, take it from me, go anywhere else.
