I don’t usually write reviews. However I may be able to help someone else..Dr. Emami is careless and doesn’t care about her patients well being. My father is her patient and he was under her care. I called many times about the changes in his health after he was hospitalized last month. He was told by the hospital Dr to see Dr. Emami for the new medicine that may interfere with the other medicines that he was taking. I called her office and left too many messages. After several attempts, I was able to speak with her receptionist. She was very rude and unprofessional. she hung up the phone on me because I told her that you are very loud and would not let me speak. Dr. Emami did not returned my call or respond to my concern. Her neglect is a malpractice and VERY DANGEROUS.

Wish I could give a ZERO star. My mom had her first stroke and went into ER. Dr Emami was the assigned neurologist, and she was very rude and short with us. She would just come in for a minute then leave without even letting us ask questions and wouldnt provide details, next steps, recommendations... absolutely NOTHING but just saying my mom had a stroke and nothing she can do. Stroke is a very serious matter and for her to not care for her patient and provide NO HELP is her not doing her duties as a doctor. DO NOT RECOMMEND. She does not deserve to even be called a doctor. She should be ashamed.UPDATE: My mom had a second stroke the day after she was discharged. Super upsetting that she was sent home in her condition and had 2 strokes in 4 days all of a sudden. I refused to see Emami and requested a different neurologist who was much more helpful and most importantly wanting to continue to see my mom to figure out potential root causes.

My husband was referred to Dr. Emami by our family physician, and we found her to be thorough, insightful, and ready to work with us on all the variables that could possible be influencing his illness, before jumping to a diagnosis. She was patient and never made us feel rushed. She is matter of fact and to the point, but accessible. The office receptionist was super nice and very patient with us. I misunderstood a prescription order and called the office. Once again the front office was understanding and helpful. Were confident and happy to have Dr. Emami on our team for my husbands illness.

Avoid this doctor. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time but the second time I came it was still barely 10 min spent, cut my sentences, doesn’t listen, extremely cold, would leave the room in a middle of a sentence to just disappear living you to guess it is time to get up and pay then... She didn’t help or tried to help with my issue... it’s sad doctors can be like that

I had a brain MRI done on Sept 12th and 23 days later I received no follow-up call from Dr. Emami or her office to review the results. Apparently, as her patient, you need to call her (more than once) to get any feedback on a critical procedure. My first phone call was not returned and my second phone call confirmed that she had signed off on the reports, but made no attempt to contact me to review the results. Completely unacceptable!!

This office is one of the worst I have been to. The billing office was completely disorganized and gave inaccurate statements. The dr herself had a very unpleasant bedside manner (condescending and dismissive). Would NOT recommend.

You know what is worse than a doctor who wants you in and out of her office in 5 mins? The patient paying cash, the receptionist making NO NOTE OF IT, and then getting a bill sent to your house for the co pay again. This really breaks my heart that people still do this. I am a full time student and part time city worker, and I work and struggle really hard for my money. I have no idea how people have the heart to just take someones money like that. Not to mention that the receptionist said that I have to pay the co pay then and there. I feel bad for the receptionist that lets that happen, and the practice for not stopping it.
