I was referred last fall to Dr. Rottjakob by a friend who spoke very highly of both him and his daughter, Dr. Nicole. My first appointment was for some pain I was experiencing in one tooth. Dr. Rottjakob took a couple X-rays and then took almost an hour to explain in exquisite detail what the X-rays showed, what the possible causes were, and the pros and cons of various actions that might be taken, including the financial costs and the possible risks to the tooth. I was extremely impressed! Ultimately, his advice was confirmed and the endodontist he referred me to was able to save the tooth and resolve the problem. Dr. Rottjakob has the latest diagnostic equipment, and I really appreciate that he always explains what he is doing and why. He patiently and thoroughly answers all my questions. Dr. Nicole also did a routine checkup on me and was similarly terrific -- thorough, friendly, and really professional, finding latent problems that were missed by my previous dentist. Linda and the others in the front office greet me like a long-time friend, yet are very efficient. Overall, I am impressed thus far and intend to continue as their patient.

My family has been going to Dr. Rottjakob for years. We just love this office. Dr. Rottjakob, and now his daughter, Dr. Nicole, are very knowledgeable and so friendly. All of the staff from the front desk to all the hygienists are welcoming and just wonderful. They are great with kids too and I bring my 10yr old grandson here as well. Even though I have moved to the Central Valley, I have stayed with this dentist because the drive is worth the quality care my family gets here.

Dr Rottjokob’s office is so professional- from the front desk to all the employees. The dental hygienists are excellent and knowledgeable in the work they do. Dr Rottjokob is a wonderful dentist and I completely trust his advice. I have been using his practice for years.

As my dental hygienist was finishing up, some old, and very “ancient” bonding came off. This was done long before I started seeing Dr. Rottjakob. In no time Dr. Nicole Rottjakob came to the rescue and did an excellent job of replacing my damaged front tooth with new bonding.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, about 30 years now! I can’t say enough good things about the entire team. Everyone is super personable and I always feel like I’m getting much more care than just my teeth cared for. Every cleaning is very thorough and Trish and Lori are the best all around! I feel like they and Dr. Rottjakob and Dr. Nicole always go above and beyond. The new office is also very spa-like with lots of natural light coming in so each visit is almost like a mini escape from my family life haha.

Flexible when appointment needs to be changed. Very friendly and caring- Dr called a few days later to check on how my husband was feeling after he had some work done. My 5 year old daughter left her appointment saying ‘I like this place. My doctor is nice!’

Let me start with saying that I never leave reviews and I absolutely hate the dentist. Every dentist I have ever been to has found something wrong with my mouth and has overcharged me for work they say I need done. Not here. This place is absolutely amazing. Theyre professional, they care and they point you in the right direction for any additional work.

I’ve been going to Dr. Rottjakob’s office for about 15 years, since I was a kid. The team here is amazing! They make my trip to the dentist a positive experience, and any work I’ve needed done has always been great.

They have the best hygienists. However Dr Rottjakob can very mean to the kids. He kept on blaming all the problems to the my kids. And last time he asked us to do some treatment on my kids teeth which costed almost a thousand dollars that will protect my kids teeth from cavity for at least one year. In less that 3 months, he found cavities in my kids teeth and again he just simply blamed everything on my kids.

I had a very good experience at this office. I hate going to the dentist and it had been awhile. They made me feel comfortable and confident. They are very professional with a nice clean office. I would recommend!

Dr. Rottjakob and staff have covered all the bases for our health and safety in the office. From temperature checks upon arrival, hand sanitizer, complete disinfecting of all work areas, technicians with masks and shields and social distancing whenever possible. Laurie and Trish did an outstanding job on my teeth cleaning and handled all other needs very professionally!There office is the best!!

Dr. Rottjakob is so much better than all other dentists. I have known Dr. Steve since he came to San Jose. Simply put, he is the most skilled dentist not only in California but on the west coast. I have a strange bite. Prior to Dr. Steve, I would have to go back for adjustments a minimum of 3 times. Usually 5 times to get a crown correctly fitted.I was in an accident in my late teens cracking several teeth in each section of my mouth. Dr. Steve started his career in fixing problem patients. He handles Very complex dental problems with ease. He learned by doing almost impossible crowns and corrections in his intern years. When Dr. Steve put in the first crown by him, I told him, “well, I am sure I will see you tomorrow?”He asked,, “why do you need more work done?”I told him, “No, but my bite is strange and I am sure some adjustments will be needed.I have never had a crown fit the first time. It has always taken a minimum of three adjustments.”Dr. Steve said, “that is unacceptable. I promise, you will not need to come back.” I did not believe him so I left fully expecting to come back. To my complete surprise, he was right. I never needed to come back for any adjustments. And for the past 30 years, all crowns, implants, and veneers, fit perfect, over and over and over. Dr. Steve is truly amazing. The most competent dentist you will ever find. I moved to Sacramento 10 years ago. I drive back for all my dental work. What a fantastic experience, I was in some fear, I haven’t been to the dentist in awhile due to no insurance and high costs as well as a bad experience I had prior.Linda at the front desk is very friendly and informative, my hygienist Laurie, made me feel calm and very comfortable, and Dr. Rottjakob is a breath of fresh air with great energy and intelligent, he helped me with a great plan of action for maintaining healthy gums and teeth - I highly recommend this to Dental Practice !

I love Dr. Stephen Rottjakob dental office. All of the employees are excellent. I especially appreciate my long-time dental hygienist, Trish. She is friendly, thorough, and skilled at her job. I always look forward to my cleaning. Dr. Rottjakob is also a great dentist. He is very skilled at keeping the patient comfortable with his painless novocaine injections prior to any dental repairs. Both Trish and Dr. Rottjakob frequently ask if Im OK while in the chair. In addition, the office maintains excellent records and monitors any teeth that may indicate future problems. Lastly, I so appreciate Dr. Rottjakobs dental assistant and Linda the receptionist. Both gals are friendly and make my visit a pleasant experience.

Dr. Rottjakob and his team were excellent in every way! I recently spent a good amount of time at his office for crowns, fillings and veneers.
