If you. We’d to test for allergies then this is the place to visit. The staff were nice and cordial. The office was friendly and clean. And, the doctor was thorough in explaining my results and next steps. If bedside manners are important to you without sacrificing the expertise, this may be a good option for you.

Would give them zero stars if it were possible. I went in to get allergy tested because of bad stomach issues I had been dealing with. I was told I had several food allergies that restricted my diet so much that it was life changing. I changed my eating habits and spent a year and a half making my own specific meals because I couldnt eat normal with my friends and family. Couldnt go out to restaurants because of cooking oils, gluten, nuts, legumes, etc. that I was told I was allergic to. Over the next year or so I called the office several times to ask questions for additional information and never once received a single call back from the Doctor, or any help from anyone at the front desk. I recently went for a second opinion and found that I was completely misdiagnosed and the problem was not allergy related at all. Would never recommend this place to anyone. They do not care about their patients.

I really like and appreciate the staff at the Bascom clinic. They are all very nice, friendly and welcoming. The service is very good I am in and out in a timely matter I will definitely recommend to friends and family if they may need allergy services.

Dr. Kellogg has always been completely involved in all that is required for my care. I have been under his care for years and I recommend him and his team highlyto anyone who is looking for a good allergist.

Dr. Kellogg is super!! I am so happy to be one of his patients. However, the front desk is wanting for some efficiency. I wanted to go back for my next schedule as soon as possible so I asked Ms. Lupe to schedule me as soon as their office receives my medical record from my previous Allergist in Los Angeles. Dr. Kellogg wanted to look at my previous record before he can proceed. And Ms. Lupe agreed. But up to now I have not received any call from her or the office. Is it because they have not yet received my medical records?

I have always had excellent service at SBAA. The doctor is always pleasant, explains everything to me, and answeres all my questions. Her staff is also very helpful, friendly, and pleasant.

There are times when you have a medical practice and the doctor is great but the front desk staff is awful or an office with great staff but the doctor isnt great. Im happy to share that no such mismatch happens at South Bay Allergy & Asthma Group. Both Dr. Nelson and the staff were consistently calm, warm, reassuring and patient when I took my 7 year old in. Although I never look forward to going into a doctors office, I am happy to trust this practice and continue going here for our pediatric asthma care.

Impossible to get an appointment for new patients. The receptionist does not understand that we had COVID in August and cannot get tested according to the governmental guidelines within 3 months. Lupe was absolutely unhelpful and not understanding that a toddler is suffering badly every day for the second week now.

Doctors are patient and knowledgeable. But communication with the front desk staff(an Indian woman based in san jose) is frustrating, kind of rude and not patient.

Quick and efficient testing. The doctor immediately diagnosed my allergies and had information ready. I have not had a migraine since learning about my allergies and changing my environment to reduce them! I had an issue with my insurance and the South Bay billing department was very understanding. Well worth it.

This is the first time I heard this specialized treatment for allergies and asthma patients. The services I am receiving from my doctor & her Medical team are excellent and beyond & above. Dr. Nelson and her safe, were the Best! Great customer service, friendly staff and they took my complaints of my food allergy serious. Yes they confirmed through a skin test, plus my symptoms that I have a severe onion allergy. It is so bad that I can’t even smell onions. Now I carry an epi pen and pray I never have to use it. Highly recommend

I got my allergy testing with South Bay Allergy and they helped me develop an effective allergy shot treatment plan for my environmental allergies. The staff is awesome and Ive been getting shots weekly without any issue. Highly recommend this place for your allergy diagnosis and solutions!

Dr Xu is by far the best doctor I have ever had. (I’ve had dozens and dozens of all types of doctors over the years so that statement carries weight). She is incredibly attentive, thorough and kind. She is an expert in her field and I’m so thankful that she helps keep my allergies and asthma under control. Dr Xu goes the extra mile for her patients and their overall health. I am incredibly appreciative for her. South Bay Allergy and Asthma has multiple locations. The staff at each location work hard to provide excellent service and care. Christina is one of my favorite nurses and is always helpful. She is knowledgeable and professional in all her interactions. She truly cares about her patients. Jen, Grace and the front office staff are also very friendly, courteous, professional and seem quite organized. I always feel like I’m in good hands with this practice. I would highly recommend South Bay Allergy and Asthma to anyone needing their care.

As simple and easy as it could get. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Fast allergy shot, good service

Dr. Xu is amazing! She was able to fix the dermatitis that my dermatologist has been trying for a year to get under control. With her help my asthma is improved from the level I was at with just my pulmonologist treating it. Best of all, she has been able to do this by prescribing simple changes instead of more medications, like moisturizing my hands each time after washing them, washing sheets with hot water, getting air filtration devices, and using my existing medicine in a better manner. Her knowledge is extensive and has helped me to improve my health and happiness.
