My mouth piece has been wonderful. I was using the cpap and I hated it!! This has been easy to get used to. It feels good at night. And I wake up feeling much better and more restful. This has been a game changer for me. Great experience. Their Sleep Apnea tests are incredible easy to use and convenient. Because they are using state of the art equipment and it uploads to the cloud with less hassle of having to drive back and forth.

Dr Rose and her staff are outstanding! Attention to detail and excellence is how they operate! My appliance is pretty easy to wear, and after the first night adjustment period, I’ve had no problems… and most importantly, snoring is almost gone and sleeping is much improved! Hi I’ve had sleep apnea for over 20 years and I found Doctor Rose Rotaghi and hallelujah!!!!!!! Ive been with her for 4 years now !! using the oral device and it’s been a godsend. it’s changed my whole sleeping habits! no tubes, no mask! I love it !! and my all the tests have shown that there’s been positive results so I endorse the treatments I endorse this oral mouth piece. This is the greatest place to address your sleep needs! Used to use cpap. Hated it, didnt really let me sleep well , traveling a nightmare and Cleaning an issue. Now use simple dental device I obtained from San Diego Sleep Therapy. Sleep all night and get REM sleep. Much better solution.love it.

Given my results, my device is working amazingly great! I went from severe sleep apnea to normal level of 0.9 ahi with my custom fitted mouth piece that dr rose made me. Visited this summer after tachycardia and ER visit. The lab xray is taken while standing up... but is supposed to show insights to your throat while laying down.. thats hard for me to understand. The sleep test was expensive and I was not satisfied with the follow up explanations of the sleep study results and my labs from the doctor. I did not proceed with the device, but was called by the office quite often in follow up to see if I wanted to. Now, I have a recent charge from this clinic despite not visiting in over a month and suddenly no one can call me back or respond to my emails, even though I was just being called weekly to try to get me to continue with the device. Doesnt leave me feeling very good. Please respond asap with my requested breakdown of charges, or at least an update on when that will be available. I have emailed and left two voicemails over the last few days, during office hours. I just want to understand what charges have posted and why there are still charges posting for my past visits.

This is a great place to go here if you suffer from sleep. They have state of the art everything here. Doc Rohatgi go listens to your needs well. Nordstrom customer service here. They take my insurance and I paid nothing! I went to another place previously and that other office made me pay cash on services that were covered! I paid $0 here!!

My sleep partner noticed that I was snoring loudly and it sounded as if I was having trouble breathing throughout the night. First of all, the doctor and her staff are phenomenal. However, my rating is based on the fact I spent an obscene amount of money on an oral appliance for apnea (which essentially just positions your lower jaw a bit forward). The device is pretty fancy and the tech is impressive but I got pretty much the same thing on Amazon for $23. The cheap one is much more comfortable too. I hate to leave a review like this, but I dont want people to spend tons of money if they dont have to.

Beware before you agree to service. Staff was on top of things...collected all insurance data well in advance of first appointment and reconfirmed at first appointment of high $3000 deductible. We agreed. It is 3 years later and and still arguing with what was a $6000 deductible. Feel misled as the office took the lead to reconfirm everything in advance. In addition the device helped but did not solve issues.

I had a great experience with Dr. Rohatgi and her team! I was really bummed when I got diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea because I thought I was gonna be forever stuck with a CPAP machine which did NOT work for me! I was referred to San Diego Sleep Therapy by my insurance company after my primary physician recommended that I see a sleep specialist. I saw Dr. Rose when my snoring problem got worse and was consistently waking me up in the middle of the night. Youve got all the qualities of a miracle worker Dr. Rose! My husband and I were totally tired of waking up every 1-2 hours at night due to his sleep apnea. After a meeting with Dr. Rose, she got us 5 hours and then 7+ hour stretches of sleep with a tiny but mighty device (just like her😊😊 , small but mighty). From scheduling to the thorough consult with Dr Rohatgi it was an excellent experience. The staff are professional and nice. Dr Rohatgi is excellent and is an expert in her field of sleep therapy!

After spending all night at an expensive sleep clinic, and getting an evaluation of mild to medium level apnea, I reluctantly concluded that I would need to get a C-Pap machine. Then I heard about Dr. Roses alternative on PBS, and made an appointment. It took a few months to test and get it just right, but the result is fantastic. My device not only eliminated my waking and snorting events, but reduced my regular snoring dramatically. The only thing that keeps my overall rating from being a 5* is that there were a couple of assistants at the time who I did not feel confident that they could evaluate and adjust (which they tried to do) as expertly as Dr. Rose could (and did). Ive very pleased with this approach after a year and a half, and have recommended Dr. Rose to others...

My family and friends have suffered from my snoring all my life. At 60 I developed horrible dry mouth, poor sleep and severe drowsiness during the afternoon. It was time to consider drastic measures. Through my research into sleep apnea resources, I identified San Diego Sleep Therapy. I knew I would have to have a sleep study done and expected to be fitted for a CPAP device. Instead I was told about a mouth guard like appliance. After receiving the results of my sleep study (65 instances of halted breathing per hour!!!) I decided to proceed with the appliance.Instead of wearing a face mask and being tethered to a machine, my lower jaw is pushed forward by the appliance, keeping my airway open. After using the device for a week, I found I was no longer drowsy and no longer suffered from dry mouth! Furthermore, results from my subsequent sleep study showed NO instances of stopped breathing. I didnt have a very pleasant experience here. Very over priced for x-rays and office visits. Receptionists made numerous mistakes with payment info and appointments. I felt like I was paying a lot and getting very little out of the service provided. Initially I was told I had mild sleep apnea and then my last test at lowest setting 0 on mouth device showed I passed. Now feel like I have an overpriced mouth guard that I dont even need anymore. Felt like I spent a lot of money for nothing. Just finished resolving a huge out of pocket expense with them and just glad to be done with this place. Im giving this place one star because Dr. Rohatgi was nice to work with when you were able to actually get in touch with her without paying an outrageously high office fee. Please be careful and do your research before going here.

Your approach works! I have used your oral device for close to 4 months now and it has been great. You said it may take a short while getting used to using it but it was very comfortable for me even on the first night. That was a bit of salivation at the start though that stopped on the first week. Coupled with my apnea, I used to snore loudly to an extent that my wife had to get some earplugs. Im happy that she no longer needs them. Dr.Rose is an amazing specialist and you should see her if you want to overcome sleep apnea.

I recently was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and the doctor was very knowledgeable about best options, testing and I now have the mouthpiece. This has already proven to help my sleep. Edit: originally 2 stars, but I just learned my insurance clearly told this company I would have to payout of pocket... after which San Diego Sleep Therapy said it was covered by insurance. A truly shady business. Just look at the reviews, they don’t even statistically hint at being valid... no where near a bell curve.First off the vast majority of these reviews are fake. They must give a kickback for a good review. The reviewers only have one review ever, yet they choose to write a very detailed review about this specific office, which is not even that busy, more on this later.I came into the office excited based on the reviews. But, I quickly became under the impression that I was a dollar sign, not a patient.The doctor didn’t mention my X-ray results until I asked, and did not brief me on sleep study science and health, rather the clinic is focused on selling dental equipment. At first, the doctor claimed she could not reserve equipment for me because her staff was unpredictable and would give it to someone else. Then she tried to upsale me on a test not covered by insurance in favor of one that is. She became more flexible after I became visibly upset.In addition they charge two fees to transfer x-rays to other doctors... a total of $75.I am open to changing my review as my experience with this clinic matures. But I don’t like the shady business practice of 240 glowing reviews on the atmosphere, the scent of the office, the ambience. There is clearly a disconnect between reality. I hope my impressions are wrong and I can change this to a more positive review, but one thing is certain, most all of the reviews are shady, I don’t respect that and it solidifies my initial gut feeling, we are mainly dollar signs, not patients.

Dr. Rose is a very friendly and helpful Dr. She helped get a sleep appliance that is the top of the line that worked within my budget. Dr. Rose went above and beyond to make sure all of my concerns were addressed and to make sure my appliance is working properly for me. It does take some getting used to sleeping with the appliance, but eventually you start to get used to it and it sure beats sleeping with a CPAP machine. Her office is very state of the art and very modern looking and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Rose and staff is awesome. Im finally able to get the rest I need without the huge CPAC machine. You have to give her a call. Highly Recommend this alternative!!

This firm is an oral appliance only outfit with kind people but issues in communication and billing. I was mislead about being in network for my insurance and the total amount of cost to be paid (max out of pocket for a sleep study does not include consultations which are billed separately). Ask for a quote in writing.I also had terrible experience with billing. I kept getting invoices for a charge paid in May and got varied amounts of help when I asked for more information. They are weak about providing bills that are reimbursable by insurance. It took a bad google review early this am to finally get resolution of my issues. To be fair they responded quickly and have provided me with most of the information I asked for.

Very pleased with the professionalism and service I have received. I have a C-PAP machine for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, but was unable to use it due to claustrophobia issues. My US Navy doctor referred me to San Diego Sleep Therapy and Dr. Rosemarie Rohatgi was able to fit me for an oral device that covers both upper and lower teeth that is hinged, causing the lower jaw to move forward a little bit.My wife told me yesterday that this device is fantastic, she said she was about to move out of our bedroom because of my snoring and waking up gasping for air a couple times during each night, then several nights a week. That has completely stopped and she is very very happy. I highly recommend this device. Its very comfortable to sleep with and I wake up refreshed every morning.

I have had a Sleep apnea Apparatus from San Diego Sleep Therapy and recently had some dental work done making my existing mouthpiece unusable. i returned to See Dr. Rose and was treated to a wonderful visit, new impressions and soon a new apparatus! The customer service, individual attention and professional environment are unmatched. I HIGHLY recommend this practice!

Called and provided insurance information. Was told they are in network and made an appointment for the following week. Walked in and was told they are out of policy and need to pay $300 out of network deductible. Wasted 1 hour of my time on a rainy day 3/18/20 getting off from work driving back and forth for no reason. Didn’t see the Dr. not happy with how they handled this.

Dr Rohatgi is knowledgeable and boarded in sleep disordered breathing and can treat obstructive sleep apnea using an oral device which holds the lower jaw forward keeping the airway open throughout the night. She accepts all major medical insurance. If you’re having an issue because you’re not using your cpap please give Dr Rohatgi a call to set up a consultation!

I have had a sleep apnea mouthpiece from Dr. Rose for three months. I also have a BiPap machine. Originally, I had planned on using the mouthpiece primarily for travel. I recently returned from a three week vacation. The mouthpiece worked so well that it will probably become my primary device. I received excellent service from Dr. Rose. I was extremely impressed with her expertise and dedication to finding the right solution. The equipment in her office is very impressive and obviously capable of precise measurements. Dr. Rose is a professional, caring and friendly person. I highly recommend her to any one with a sleeping problem.

When I started with therapy with Dr Rose Rohatgi at San Diego Sleep Therapy, I had severe sleep apnea with 51 events but I didn’t want to wear a cpap. So by coming and being fitted properly for my appliance, I am now at a very low level with my apnea treated. Dr Rohatgi and her staff are wonderful and very helpful. After many years of separate rooms, my wife and I are now sleeping together in the same bed. And I have Dr. Rose to thank. Unfortunately i had different experience with Dr rose that make me very disappointed of her service, Im not questioning her knowledge of sleep apnea but the way i was charged for her services, office service $2500.00 which my share of $250.00 and since my wife has been on cpap, she had to run test of her own for$3950.90 again insurance ok that for 90% . out of pocket $395.00, All that for her to tell us the next day that insurance will not cover the device and there will be additional $3500.00 out of pocket. She made $6500.00 in less than 24 hours ,at the end left us hanging. Thats disgrac. Unfair!!

Your clinic has made an enormous improvement on my health, relationship, work and everything!! I would wake up feeling like I didn’t get even a minute of sleep as a result of my obstructive sleep apnea. This caused me to suffer headaches, appetite loss, and my throat was always dry. I found San Diego Sleep Therapy on Google and decided to go there for help. Dr. Rose was very kind and promised to do all she can to put an end to my sleep apnea and the ugly symptoms that came with it. She delivered as promised; my oral device has so far worked like magic! My sleep apnea is gone and I am getting at least 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep per night. No more headache and even my meals taste much better. My sleep doctor sent my CPAP prescription to a sleep therapy specialist. It took them forever to call and set up an appointment but I could not tolerate the CPAP machine. So I was recommended by a friend to go to San Diego Sleep Therapy, I called on Monday. Tuesday I got a call from San Diego Sleep Therapy and set up an appointment for Thursday. I met with Dr. Rose, who fitted me for a sleep apnea mouth device. She showed me a few different types, gave me great training on how it is used, and answered all my questions (several times, because I was anxious and had a hard time staying focused). Dr. Rose was very caring, extremely competent and knowledgeable, and really helped me relax and get comfortable, she guided me properly on how to get the best sleep possible. San Diego Sleep Therapy offers excellent support, They take care good care of you and I recommend them.
