Fantastic service! Im traveling to two countries in Asia. They had very detailed information and recommendations and were very helpful in understanding it all. I was impressed with amount of detailed info they have on disease outbreaks and statuses for countries and cities.

Christina was an amazing help - very organized and quick with information that I could grasp. She somehow made it so that I could make some tough decisions more easily, and I really appreciated her attentiveness to my questions. I left the office with some great travel supplies and a feeling of increased confidence in my upcoming trip to East Africa. (ALSO, I couldnt believe when she told me that my shot was over and done with - I didnt feel a thing!)

It was awesome! Christina was so thorough, taking me step by step through all the places Ill be visiting, making sure that I will be vaccinated appropriately for them all and that I will have enough time to do those necessary vaccinations before leaving. By the way, Id make an appointment perhaps sooner than your trip than you think necessary, because certain vaccinations take a long time or several rounds of shots (not all do though). They give you a book (to keep) that is filled with information about (probably) all the countries in the world, about the diseases you could contract and what to do to (where possible) prevent getting them. Plus they discuss what to do if you do get something. She truly gave me quality time and information. I feel extremely satisfied and very prepared with the necessary facts, products, vaccinations and preventive medications. Thank you Christina! Thank you Passport Health!

The nurses are good (knowledge, shots, etc.). The clinic is not. There is only one reason to go here--if you need a yellow fever vaccine (currently in shortage). After driving two hours, we got a text saying our appointment would need to be rescheduled. They miraculously got us in the same morning. Good job, keeping the scheduled time. Everything is overpriced and the focus is $. Rx policy? If you dont pick up your Rx quickly enough and the pharmacy restocks it, you have to revisit the clinic (in person) and pay an additional fee. Show me another doctor who does that. Speaking of doctors, I didnt see or hear of one in the clinic the two hours we were there. Saw ones name on the wall. Not sure the last time s/he stopped in to see how his/her turnkey clinic is doing. Go. Elsewhere.

Great Place! Kristina was my nurse she was super helpful and informative. I’m typically afraid of needles but she put me at ease and distracted me and the shot didn’t hurt. I recommend filling out the paperwork before hand it makes things go by quicker.

Quick and easy! The nurse I met with was friendly and explained each vaccine recommended for my trip. They gave me a personalized booklet with an overview of recommended vaccines, country info, travel info from the US embassy, and other helpful information. I strongly suggest trying to get there early because parking can be a bit tricky. Beware of Google maps, it led me to a sports bar---turns out the clinic is in a building behind the sports bar, which meant I had to keep driving down the road and ignore Google maps.

The entire experience was quick and easy. I made an appointment the day before, so was happy to get in so soon, especially with my trip coming up relatively quickly. Christina P helped me and walked me through all the immunizations and prescriptions I should get and which ones she wouldnt recommend. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and the entire experience was painless (except for the shots at the end :) ). Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a travel clinic.

We visited Passport Health on Camino Del Rio South for our travel vaccines. We are a family of 5 traveling to Dubai and Kenya this summer. The nurse who helped us was Christina P., and she was great. She was very knowledgeable about what vaccines we needed. There were a couple of vaccines that we didn’t really need (b/c of the time of year and regions we were traveling to) and she talked through all of those options with us. I would highly recommend going here for your travel vaccines!

Like most people, I hate getting vaccines! However, I love that they exist to keep us safe. I had a great experience with Maureen today! She explained everything I needed to know about preventative measures I could take before my move to Japan. She was patient as I decided what I needed and had excellent suggestions. The shots I received were quick and I got a lollipop after. Who doesnt love something sweet to ease the trauma of fresh shot?!

I had a great experience with Christina P. as my consultant. The visit was tailored to my trip and what I would need for travel to that specific city & country. I was rather prepared for my trip and only went to the clinic for the Typhoid vaccine so I cant attest to the other services they provide. Overall, it was helpful and less expensive than what my own healthcare was going to charge me. I would go back and recommend to anyone.

My daughter and I recently went in for travel consult. The nurse we had offered very little advice and failed to provide critical information regarding the timing of the vaccine recommended prior to travel. She recommended the oral vaccine that would be taken over the course of the week when our travel date was only a week away. (Side note, she recommended it because it was effective 5 years instead of 1. Come to find out it is 3 years and you can get a booster after that.) When I asked her (and expressed concern) if there was enough time for the oral vaccine she said yes because its only four doses. She never said this was even a rush, just that the 4 doses had to be taken before travel. When I later looked at the pamphlet on the vaccine I realized the last dose needed to be taken at least one week prior to departure. This was impossible to do. I called Passport Health and spoke with a very nice operator named Rebecca but she could offer no assistance. I asked for an appointment to get the single shot of the vaccine (instead of the oral form that had to be taken over 7 days). She said I could have an appointment but would have to pay for the vaccine again. I would not give this company my money again. Much better off using another travel clinic or CVS, etc.

I just had the very best experience with Christina P. I am traveling to Myanmar and of course want all vaccinations up to date. Christinas expertise and attention to detail put me at ease immediately. Absolutely the best in her knowledge and professionalism. I will use them for all by travel needs. I found my experience with Passport Health (S. Camino del Rio location in San Diego) to be very efficient, friendly, thorough, and as enjoyable as getting vaccinations could possibly be ! Nurse very knowledgeable on travel health issues and immunizations. Shot were very easy. No pain. A bug in the online form doesnt show everything that you entered when it is printed. Will ask you for same information again during visit. Needs to get fixed.

Made an appointment the day before, and the day of my trip! Maureen, one of the nurses there, was able to help me immediately, get my required immunizations and pills that I would need for my trip. She gave me a ton of really helpful information in a very professional booklet. They arent trying to sell you a ton of stuff, and it was a very fast process. This is seriously a professional, fast and reliable establishment, and I would most definitely come back here for my immunizations in the future.

Very satisfactory experience!I went to the Passport Health Clinic for advice and suggestions about an upcoming trip to Nepal and Indonesia. The nurse who helped me was Christina P and she was very knowledgeable and informative about what inoculations and precautions I should be familiar with prior to my trip. She obviously has experience in the subject and she was very prepared for my visit. I last used this clinic just over a year ago and had a similarly satisfactory experience. I filled out my medical info online before my visit to Passport Health, and when I arrived the next morning Maureen had everything ready to go for my consult. She went over everything with me and even brought to my attention some boosters I needed but wasnt aware of. This place is SO convenient. they have great advice about the places youre going, and you can get prescriptions and vaccines for everything you might encounter during the trip. I had a nice and friendly nurse (Christina) who made it easy to understand the vaccinations needed for my volunteer mission trip to Peru. She has some good travel advice and answered all my questions. She also gave me an immunizations and health tips booklet specifically for traveling to Peru. With the consultation and the shots, I was in and out of there in less than an hour from my appointment. The office also sells some recommended travel products which I bought some digestive protective supplements and bug repellent which saved me a trip to the store.

My appointment didnt start well. I couldnt figure out how to get my double stroller in the building. Stairs everywhere! So I was annoyed when I finally got in. But the nurse was pleasant and didnt try to scare me into getting a bunch of shots my kids didnt need. Over all it was a very nice visit. I just hate the building they are in.

Friendly and thorough service today. I will feel better once I know what my insurance will cover, but needed vaccinations for my bucket list trip to Peru, Equador, and Bolivia. Christina P. was knowledgeable and gentle and let me know about services and products without being pushy. I was a bit early, but she was able to accommodate me anyway. Parking was free and easy.

Christina P took good care of me getting the Yellow Fever vaccine. She had an extensive guidebook printed for my trip and we discussed other vaccinations that could be necessary. Vaccine is pricey, but its hard to find other clinics with it in stock.

I wasnt happy with Kristina Martinez service yesterday. Her breath stink and it was unbearable . I was there for vaccination, She seemed grumpy, unprofessional and angry. Giving bad looks when asking me questions and not taking time listening to my questions. I understand people have bad days but professionalism is key. My brother and 2 sisters also need the yellow fever vaccine on July 2019 but I dont want them to go through that situation I went through. We will try some where else, be it another state.

I was emailed confirmation before my appointment and was able to complete my intake paperwork in advance of appointment.I was explained only relevant information and did not feel pressured into purchasing unneeded tools or vaccinations. Maureen was super sweet! She gave me an orange to make sure I didnt get sick from my shot. I felt like I was with family at the clinic. She also wrote me up an extra shot card because I forgot my first one at home. I highly recommend coming to this clinic for any of your travel needs.

Decent experience however they do not deal with insurance. You must file a claim on your own. The clinics protocol for effectiveness of Typhoid is different than CDC. Do your homework before choosing any travel clinic.
