4 stars for accommodation and efficiency. This is no bells and whistles place but she goes fast and is a great value. She accommodated an appointment a couple days in advance and communicates herself. Not for the faint of heart or first timers. I am neither but this isnt where you start out. Bring your old panties for the style you want. She says she has paper ones but hesitated as she says it is easier to know whats she is doing if you arent getting a full Brazilian. She has a lovely dog and has made a very cute and bedazzled space for her clients. All in all I didnt have a single hair that didnt need to be there and that was important. She is talkative and friendly and all in all a great place to get things done.

Ive been waxing for years, so I am very familiar on how it works. You can tell that Jennifer is a professional and knows what she is doing from the questions she asks and her explanations. She made me very comfortable and the establishment was very clean. Her prices are great compared to other places and I love the fact that backside is included in the Brazilian Wax price when other places usually charge extra for that.

Absolutely amazing! I went in for a full leg wax for the first time and couldnt have been happier with my choice. The place has a very good vibe, Jen is super friendly, she is extremely professional! She made me feel comfortable and welcome, the wax was pain FREE and I got to enjoy a very nice conversation. Cant wait for my hair to grow so I can come back.

Yesterday was my first time going to SD Wax Queen and Im very happy I went! Ive been to a lot of wax parlors all over the United States because I travel a lot and always experience PAIN😫😫😫 while getting the hair on my body removed. But with Jennifer at SD Wax Queen I experienced NO PAIN!!!😃😃😃 Which makes her my one and only permanent Esthetician. I cannot even being to explain the satisfaction I feel with Jennifer and her work. It is beyond what I could possibly imagine a wax experience could feel like. Waxing in my head was associated with pain and bruises but no. Not with her. She is so professional and the quality of her work is so amazing and she is so incredibly fast and amazing that even if you have the most sensitive skin, ( like I do, I bruise like a peach) you will not feel any pain or the slightest discomfort. And afterwards she applies aloe Vera and many other creams that hydrate and protect your skin from any sensitivity.And that’s her work. She as a person too is so genuine and funny and sweet that you literally think you’re talking to your best friend when you’re getting waxed and time flies by without you even noticing.I personally will never ever change my waxing lady because she has got me hooked for life!! Also as compared these big businesses that will pain and bruise you and charge you an extremely high amount, her prices are so inexpensive and worth every single penny! I 10000000% recommend you go to her and if guarantee that you will never want to switch

Jennifer is amazing. I called to get a wax and she was able to be see me same day. I am a return customer and intend to keep coming back. She is skilled at her craft and makes to you feel comfortable the whole time. This was my first time going here and I absolutely enjoyed the experience! I was working with Jennifer and she was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. This was my first time getting a spray tan which you had to strip down to nothing but she made me feel very comfortable and my tan looked amazing and lasted longer than most spray tans would at any other tanning facilities. There was no awkward streaking and the results were immediate. When the tan did start to fade away, it did so naturally, without the blotches. Her facility is very warming and she has amazing beds! I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed and she did an incredible job! I got so many compliments on them. She offers so many other services as well. Waxing, massages, etc...which I am excited to try. I would recommend her over any other spa services in San Diego! Thanks again Jennifer for a lovely experience!

This lady knows her stuff! 16 years plus in the business and she definitely has an expert touch! She specializes in waxing and spray tanning but, she also doesnt facials and beyond! Shes fun and easy to chat with. Gets you in and out and back to your day! My spray tan is always super even and lasts a long time! She specifies a color preference as well as uses high end products its obvious! The dos also offers nails and massage as well by appointment only. But, definitely come see Jen you wont regret it!

Was very disappointed with the service. Went in for a spray tan for my sons competition. It was our first time so I knew he was suppose to go dark didnt know my options. When we got there she did the tan she thought would work for him .after done it wasnt dark enough after the fact she mentioned she didnt have enough solution to do the dark tan for competition. That was very unprofessional for not letting me know she didnt have the solution I would of needed. Very unsatisfied with the service n unprofessional . Had to find another salon to compete our satisfaction. To find out after the tan SD wax queen did was not done correctly. I do not recommend this place .

I have tried waxing multiple times in the past and hated it! The pain was excruciating and the estheticians made it awkward. Jen at San diego wax queen was amazing! She was quick and although it was still painful she made me feel comfortable. I will definitely go to her again. Highly recommend her!
