Have been coming here for years and I’m never changing my location. They do amazing brows and they sell my favorite eyebrow power. I also have gotten the sugar waxing and I’m addicted I saw the different after the first wax.

Everyone was so friendly and the service was amazing! It was my first time getting my brows threaded since the pandemic so they needed help lol. Saira put so much attention/detail which was amazing and my brows look phenomenal! I was seen right away and it was pretty quick. Will definitely be coming back!

Super professional and I got a great new set of eyebrows with their new straightening and henna technique!! Before I had thin brows that I penciled in everyday, but with the henna it’s no problem, and I don’t have to do micro blading!! But it looks the same!! Yay!!! My brow tech walked me through how to take care of my new brows and showed me how to maintain them! I’m thinking of flying back in just to keep my brows looking so great! Thank you for everything! And everyone was super sweet, even when there was some hard clients in there!! Good job!!

Im basing this review on my wifes opinion of this establishment. She has been a client of theirs for a long time and the fact that she keeps coming back says a lot. Apparently they use the threading method for brows, which is supposed to be great. Service is fast, In-N-Out as described by clients (I wish it were longer because the Gelato at Pappalecco next door is amazing).

Great staff, good pricing, quick and always do a good job. The receptionist is open about wait times and very friendly. Been coming here for years and will continue. Thank you.

There prices and service is great you only have to do appointments if its something big like waxing for threading eyebrows you dont need an appointment you can do a walk in.

Love this place! My brows always look great no matter which browtist does them. I especially appreciated how cautious they are being with following the COVID-19 health & safety protocols.

I really enjoy getting my eyebrows threaded here, Id suggest sitting with Dalal because she listens to what you want and does an excellent job. I sat with Sophia once and asked her to just clean up my brows but she shaped them and took off more than I wanted which was disappointing. She was also sick so it was uncomfortable having her sniffle while hovering over my face.

Great first time experience at BBD. I am very particular about my eyebrow shape and she did a great job.

I loooove this place. I came from NY for a wedding and was referred here by the bride and with good reason. Although we arrived pretty late and were told it would be a 25 minute wait, we were actually seen in about 10. The technicians are incredibly efficient yet dont sacrifice quality for speed. Ive been to many salons over the years but this is the first time that it was incredibly painless. Sam was sweet and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place and if they had one in NY I would be in there weekly.

The brow artists do a really great job. Like all artists though each has a different interpretation of arch and natural. Be specific about what you like for your brows and be sure to check them in the handheld mirror.

Best place to get your brows done in San Diego !!! They are so clean, professional, and really take their time with you to even put your imperfections! I felt very welcome and comfortable here. In my 5 visits (threading and/or sugar waxing), Ive gained more confidence in explaining what I want or need and in approaching hair removal for areas Ive only shaved in the past. I think I was imagining horrible pain, but its really not bad. Christine was especially wonderful and made a first-time experience fun! I keep imagining her Bruce Lee technique that had me laughing the whole time.

I love this place, the only people i trust with my eyebrows and all my other sugar waxing needs! Rania is amazing when it comes to eyebrows, she really listens to what you want and makes sure you are happy! Ive had a few different ladies in the salon do my waxing and they have all been pleasant experiences, Dolly has even waxed me and the business is just beyond spectacular. I will only go here and recommend everyone else does too!

My brows look amazing!! I went to the Hillcrest location. I will have to call back and confirm the ladys name who helped me because she was the best. I have my brows threaded regularly back home in New York and finally there is a location here in SD to get them done. Price is a bit more than I am used to at $12 a pop instead of $7; but this is the ONLY place in SD to get your brows threaded and they are amazing so I am happy to pay the $12.If you have never had your brows threaded and usually wax or pluck - go try! It is pain free and these guys really know what they are doing.Highly recommended. I am definitely coming back when I am in SD.

The very rudest people the rudest staff...... I hope this place closes down soon.... I would not recommend it..... When you go to have these services done you want the people that work there to be polite but you wont get that here.... Especially with the technicians.....

Sarah was amazing for my Brazilian! I gave her 3 weeks of hair growth to work with, which was not much and she did an excellent job. I am completely hair free. This is the second time Ive had this service done by Sarah and both times she made my experience completely comfortable with a few laughs. Not an easy task considering the situation! My only complaint would be the temperature in the room - air conditioning is a must, other than that always a great experience with great results at Beauty by Dolly!

Personable, Professional, Friendly and SO skilled! I first went to BBD on Black Mountain Road over 7 years ago because my friend said I HAD to try it. I havent let anyone else touch my eyebrows since! Not even myself.Best of all, there is always a chance I will run into Dolly. First time coming here so I expected nothing but good things about this place but I waited so long and they end up skipping me in line. One thing i dislike the most is when people waist my time. This place definitely waste my time. They favor their current clients and ignore new clients by making them wait longer. If you like to feel ignore come here they will ignore you . Amazed by this establishment as they have now forever changed my life!I was EXTREMELY weary of coming here or going anywhere to get my eyebrows threaded. I have never gotten this done before and only had horrible experiences with my eyebrows with other people touching them.I finally took 2 months to grow them out and have them shaped and only mad at myself for not doing it sooner.The process is quick, painless (tiny tingles if that), inexpensive and done with perfection. The first time I tried out this place, I had the perfect brow makeover. I had grown them out and my stylist worked her magic. I gave her freedom to do whatever made my brows look good. I was extremely happy with the results.My following appointments werent that excellent, however. I forgot my stylists name and kept getting other women who didnt exactly replicate the results from the first time. I should have taken a picture because I didnt know what to ask for either.My recent experience was much better. Najla came closest to the original design. Even though the other stylists didnt meet my brow expectations, they still did a great job. Everyone pays attention to detail and carefully do their job.

I tried Eileen at the Hillcrest location & she’s incredible!! She uses sugar wax which is WAY less painful and she’s gentle and understanding. Eileen explains every step during the process. I will definitely be a loyal customer to Eileen and I would highly recommend her!
