I absolutely love this place!!! It was my first time coming here & upon walking in I loved the atmosphere. Stacey was so personable, funny, & sweet. She did an amazing job with full arms wax. The soft wax they use was moisturizing to my skin. Truly felt like a brand new person walking out (a better version of myself!).

Lunchbox wax never fails to amaze me. i had only been the portland location (which is just as clean and professional and great) until i was visiting san diego and came to this location. stacey is seriously AMAZING. she is SO personable, makes the entire experience comfortable and painless, and even remembered the city i said i was moving to in north carolina and found me the closest lunchbox to my new house while i was getting dressed. lunchbox wax is incredible at all their locations but stacey really exceeded my expectations, i couldn’t recommend her enough.

My girlfriend and I have been to many different places but none of those places have been up to par or anywhere near the level of quality and service that we received from lunch box wax Hillcrest. They are so skilled that theres hardly any pain the wax leave your skin feeling supple and smooth. theres almost always an appointment available relatively quickly. They do such an excellent job because everything is quick its symmetrical all around just a great job. They must all take the same training because every single one of the technicians there provide the same outstanding service.I highly recommend this place I wish that they had lunch box wax everywhere!

I googled and Lunchbox came up and I checked their prices which are reasonable so I booked an appointment and have been coming since. Melissa is my waxer and she’s wonderful! Love the name, the cleanliness, location, hours! Moving back to Washington soon and wish there was one there! Maybe I can encourage them to open there?!

As a guy I was worried about getting waxed for the first time. They cater to men, women, every type of human. They are also very LGBTQ friendly which is a big plus for me.Very fast and easy! I think the whole procedure only took 4 minutes for the between the cheeks service. Cassandra was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions . I will definitely have to bring my boyfriend next time !

This was my first time trying waxing and I was very nervous. I had gotten 3 Brazilian sugaring services from various salons in the past. This was a thousand times better! Their facility was so clean, cute decor, friendly staff, and I had the least amount of pain I’ve ever had getting a Brazilian. I also have sensitive skin and they used really soothing products That didn’t feel irritating. The process felt very sanitary and quick. It was so easy. I’m so glad I gave Lunchbox wax a try. I will definitely continue getting my services here from now on.

Since I’ve been getting waxed at Lunch BOX I’ve always had a great experience. Zoe is amazing! She always makes the pain less painful which I’m sure anyone can appreciate it! I had a fantastic experience with Melissa at LunchboxWax in Hillcrest. I booked an appointment online the night before; easy process. The parking lot was full with people in the shopping center for groceries, breakfast, Pilates, cycle, etc, but I was able to find a parking spot quickly. It was Saturday MondayCheck in was easy. Melissa asked if I needed some more water or to use the bathroom before we headed into a room for the session, which I appreciated. She addressed any concerns I had and we were off. We held a steady conversation through the session which really put me at ease since it was my first time getting my legs done ever and the first time getting a wax in 10 years.The lobby, bathroom, and waxing room were very neat and lots of white and silvers, making it look very clean and professional.I’ll be back again in 2 months :)

If youre the shy type. Which Im not I was talking and laughing with her through the whole lower body waxing. This place is fairly new and my first time in was great. Above and beyond. Not only that she took extra care in making sure I was really wiped down front and back with lotions and oil for the waxy residue which normally waxers ,in my personal opinion arent attentive to. Very nice and clean place. First I made an appointment online and apparently they double booked so they moved my appointment, not so much of an inconvenience for me as I was running errands anyway. I got a nose wax and Ive gotten them before so I know what a good nose wax feels and looks like. Needless to say that I still have hair in my nose. I knew I should have just gone to Enviouskin as always. No I will not be using Lunchbox again.

The wax salon itself it VERY clean and relaxing and Zoe was AMAZING! I just had a nose wax for now but it was fast and very professional and she was also just super nice and enjoyable. I do not typically prebook my next appointment but it seemed very stupid to not with Zoe. Once again...LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED!

This place was Faboulous....from the girls that work there to the cleanness of the business. They were all friendly and welcoming. I want to personally Thank Liberty who was my waxologist. She was very professional & friendly and did an Excellent job on my services (Brazilian, Brows, Lip & Chin). Liberty was very gentle and she even made sure I was comfortable at all times. Originally I gave this place 3 stars (see my first review below) but Im updating it to 5 stars. After writing the review, the LW manager Austin got in touch with me to offer me a free leg wax and later did the waxing herself. She was really nice, caring and made me feel comfortable. Superb service, exactly what Id expect. I would highly recommend her.First review: I got a full leg wax for the first time ever. Marissa got the job done, didnt seem so friendly but my appt was at 9am so I understand not everyone is a morning person. On their website they say full leg is hip to toes. I do have hairs on my instep and toes but they remained untouched so maybe they should change that on their website. After the wax I wish I was given something or told what I could use to get rid of the little sticky wax residue that was all over my legs. This way I didnt really feel like putting my pants on. Lastly, I still have quite a few hairs left on my legs..

I am an official waxing convert. I was deathly afraid of waxing salons due to terrible past experiences but I heard great things about LunchBox so I figured I would get back on the horse before my honeymoon. All I can say is that the salon and the staff are both AMAZING. The place is pristine, cleanly and comfortable, and the waxing beds are absurdly elite and high-tech. Ive now had two different waxing specialists and they were both so accommodating and talented at what they do -- by talent, I mean they are fast, distracting, and extraordinarily kind which mitigates any of the discomfort / anxiety that comes with getting a brazilian. Ive been three times now and I will be there every month for as long as I live in San Diego. Go girls, youre amazing!
