Great service but I have to give this place one star due to how DIRTY it is. Put 40k into your building, replace equipment and clean the place for gods sake

Could not believe how dirty this place was. the dr. was yelling at someone to get out of his office. He gave me a referral to the cardiologist and when the dr. called me he told me that i was referred to him because i was in heart failure??? Where di he get this information from?? not from me. I have changed health plans because i think molina has alot of shady drs

Really want to give them 0 stars! Small dirty place Went to this place for my mom apply for her green card. This place ask for $1100 cash to do that! $1100 !!!!!! ridiculous ! Unprofessional nurse ! Unprofessional Dr! Usually the blood test results will come out in 48 hours but they told us to wait 10-14 day???? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Worst Doctor and Doctors Office Ive ever been to! Dont bother wasting your time. Viet Dao should have his medical license revoked as he is an awful practitioner. He is also very condenscending and rude. He doesnt care for you as a patient and has no regard for your medical needs. All he wants is for you to pay out of pocket and couldnt care less how you felt. Thanks for inconveniencing my life Dao and being the worst Doctor ever!

The office very old and dirty. I had made an appointment and I reached there early 20 minutes,but they still let me wait for almost a hour. They don’t allowed any credit cards and only take cash. I went there to do an annual physical examination and they charged me $90. But my health insurance said that it was free and they didn’t refund my money. Dr. Dao seems very inpatient and only speak a few words with me. It was a worst place I have been.

Worst Doctor ever!I wish I could give him 0 startsHe and his office were the ones taking care of my I-693 medical examination for the greendcard and he didn’t filled out properly The application, then at the day of the interview, the immigration officer told me that the medical form I-693 is incorrectly filled, and i had to drive all the way from LA to San Diego to tell him and redo the whole form back again and sign it!Awful doctor and awful person. He was saying that the immigration officers are stupid and they dont know better than him.... lier!

The neighborhood is not the best and the clinic looks out of 3rd world country. On the other hand, the personnel is friendly and the doctors are kind. Cant really evaluate how efficient they are, but so far so good.

Good doctor, horrible service. He’s a very natural oriented doctor, which is good. Unfortunately, he won’t take the time. And his nurses are awful. Bad attitude, they won’t send your referrals or prescriptions until they are harassed. Don’t go here if you can avoid it.

If I were able to give less than one star I would. The clinic is very old. There needs to be renovations made. They draw blood in the same room they take height and weight, and they use this room as storage for water and unused tubes for blood to be drawn. It took two nurses to draw blood from me. They attempted three times to draw blood. My left arm had bruising from the nurse moving the needle around in my arm in an attempt to draw blood. I met with Dr. Dao maybe 5 minutes. I let him know about my health concerns (adult acne) and he refused to prescribe me medication. Dr. Dao decided to have blood tests run and I had to give a urine sample. I had to walk my urine sample into the waiting area and ask where to put my sample. The nurses told me I can leave it anywhere in the room I just had blood drawn. This place is beyond unsanitary. Also, this clinic is CASH ONLY and there is no mention of that by the receptionist prior to your appointment. The nurses double as reception, administrative assistant, and anything else Dr. Dao needs. Please dont give this doctor any business. He should be exited from the SHARP community immediately!

The staff were nice but waiting room and exam room were not kept up. They were worn, slightly dirty, and cluttered. I also had to wait 45min (granted this was my first, and only, visit).

They have the most rude staff like you would never believe. All of them talk down to patients like they dont know what they are talking about. When I got out of the office, I was told I would only need 3 labs done...by the time I got to the lab office, NOTHING was forwarded in the labs orders. After I called them, they literally put down 11 (ELEVEN) labs I need to get done...all of which would have been out of my pocket since I needed my THREE labs for school purposes...WHAT IN THE WORLD??? I called them again and the front lady just said Its what they doctor ordered, you dont have to get it done if you dont want to and HUNG UP!!!! What kind of patient advocacy or even customer service was that??? DONT COME HERE!!!

DONT GO TO THIS DOCTOR AT ALL!This doctor doesnt listen to your problems and needs and just do whatever he wants and no explanation to you about your treatment or reasons of changes in your treatment! Hes very rude and impolite! Last time I went there for my farther the doctor got angry at me and shouted at me and didnt let me to finish my sentences! Those were all because I just told him that my fathers not feeling good with the changes he made in his medications!HIS STAFF WANTED TO CHARGE MY FATHER $150 FOR ONE STAGE OF HIS HEPATITIS B VACCINATION, WHICH WAS COMPLETELY COVERED BY HIS INSURANCE AND HE DID FOR FREE LATER AT RITE AID! I FOUND OUT LATER THAT EVEN IF IT WASNT COVERED BY THE INSURANCE HE SHOULD HAVE PAID $104 AT RITE AID INSTEAD OF $150 AT THIS DOCTORS OFFICE!!!

I feel awful posting this because I hate negativity but I feel it is my responsibility to inform others. I support local businesses but this one I can not support and I would like others to be aware before they go. I originally posted this yelp.I really wish I would have read all the reviews in advance before visiting with this doctor. I also read the reviews for his Linda Vista office and they were just as bad. After reading the reviews, I feel completely validated with how I felt about my own experience. I was assigned this doctor through my insurance through my new employer which I have now changed after my horrific experiences.First and foremost, if you are reading this review, run! Do not come here. Follow your gut instinct & trust your intuition as I wish I had when I made my first appointment. It is a complete unprofessional and unethical office. First, they ONLY accept cash. A doctors office only accepts cash?! That was the first red flag I thought was weird but chose to ignore because I wanted to give this place a shot.The staff, they are awful, rude and very unprofessional. The two lady clerks have absolutely no business in customer service. No business! They speak down to clients and treat them with no respect. I have never EVER in my entire life been spoken to as if I was an incompetent moron. It was truly disgusting to think they do this on the daily and get away with it and it leads me to believe I am not the only one they have spoken to this way and definitively wont be the last. And that makes me sad for those who have no choice but be assigned to this clinic.The doctor was a little unconventional and said some pretty off the wall things during my one-on-one. A little disturbing quiet frankly. He cared very little with what I said and only thought his opinion was correct. And at one point thought to myself, do I need to run now? It reminded me of an SVU episode and thought wow this is actually happening. I have nothing else to say except it was awful and I left feeling very weird about the whole thing.There is nothing wrong with community clinics and as a non profit professional who works with low income vulnerable communities, I support them which is why I wanted to give this place a shot. I wanted to support my local community clinic. But this place is one of the worst community clinics I have ever been to on a personal and professional level since I have visited many local clinics for grand openings. This place is dirty inside, the rooms lack everything you would expect a descent clinic to have. After my experience, I truly feel they have no interest in providing good service to the people, beginning with check in, one-on-one with the doctor and check out. All they value is the $$ from the people and billing the insurance.And thats that. I called my insurance and changed doctors and am excited to be going to the Sharp Rees-Stealy in La Mesa to a Doctor with 5 stars.

Definitely the worse experience I’ve ever had in a Dr’s office...The staff... oh, the staff... I guess some of it it’s cultural or something But definitely unprofessional. They make you feel like you are bugging them all the time.... like non of your questions are part of their job.Honestly, I could write a whole chapter on just how bad, unprofessional, rude the staff is that makes the little waitig room an excrutiating experience. But let’s talk about the Dr.Now, to be fair, these are my impressions... it could be a cultural thing, he mag be a nice guy in real life I don’t know... but I’ve seen him about... 10 times... non of those Dr. visits were longer than 7 mins. He comes in, sees your chart and if it’s your first time there he’ll say:“Go get bloodwrok so I can get a picture of your health, and we’ll go from there” even though I first went there for a specific problem he wouldn’t hear it, in fact I don’t even think he made eye contact with me...We setup an appointment to read the results and see what my problem was... I came back, he comes in“So what is the problem today?”Me: “uhm, well... I went to get the bloodwork done... “He looks at his iPad, (oh, this iPad plays a huge role) he asks me where did I go get the bloodwork done, I tell hik I don’t know exactly, one of the places he told me to go, but I don’t lnow the name or address...he leaves the room, comes back... and says: “ok... you’re ok... you don’t have anemia... “At that moment I had a strong sensation that maybe he was making it up because he couldn’t figure out where my results were? This is only a suspicion of mine, knowing them a lot better now, I’m not saying he actually lied to me... But I didn’t go there for anemia, and I was hoping for a bit more infirmation like how my cholesterol was, and many other things...Why didn’t you ask him? You are probably thinkig... he does 5 min visits and he barely makes eye contact... but the worse thing is.... he doesnt let you talk!!!! Or at least he doesn’t let ME talk!I have legitimate concerns about my health... and every time I’m explainging he interrupts to say either “that’s normal” or “take this medicine” while grining for some reason...The only reason I still go to this office is because he finally is prescribing medication and I’m afraid I would get an even worse Dr.this is my first experience with my current insurance that is not the greatest...If you can avoid this Dr. please do so!!!A Dr. should be able to sit with you, look you in the eye and listen! Inspect you! Something!I went to Tijuana Mexico and paid 40 dlls for a Dr’s visit... the Dr. asked me about my family history extensively, about my mothers side, my fathers side, he checked all my vitals, where I had pain or uncomfort... he spent like an hour talking with me.., the difference of how I felt was day and night... I’m not saying to go to Mexico , but it just made ne realize how bad this Dr is and how incomoetent and rude his staff is... oh also... every time there is a lroblem woth my prescription and I have to DRIVE back to the office because they con’t do anythignover the phone... RIDICULOUS! But every SINGLE time they say ok, your medicine is ready at the pharmacy.. after like the third time I had installed the pharmacy app on my phone to double check before I left. And obviously again my medicine was not there. I tell them.. and they just wont listen to you... “Yes, it’s there” I call the pharmacy... “sorry sir, we don’t have anything for you”I tell the nurseNurse: “I’m on the phone with them, can you plewse let her know my prescription?”Nurse: “No”No? Well, I need my medicineNurse: “Medicine is there”Me: (just rub forehead)I beg the pharmacist to please call my Dr. office and ask them for an oral order or something, they say that is jot policy and the Dr. office needs to call THEM... but the office wont call, just because “it’s there”Finally I convinced the pharmacist to call, I could see the face of irritation from the staff...

I had no choice when I was assigned this doctor The RUDENESS​ & INCOMPETENTCY of his staff is beyond belief! The office is old and dirty! I had no choice but to stay because of my insurance. Now Thanks to a lot of hard work and God I have a real Dr at UCSD. My health suffered greatly because of the problems and MAJOR stress I suffered every time I had to deal with his staff. This last visit Dr. Dao sat grinning at me like some dumb puppet and hasnt asked me a single question about my health for the last two. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY from this quack! If I could rate on a navgative scale itd be - 100 stars. Call your insurance company and complain to them. You complain loud enough and with details and they will investigate that office. He should be sued for malpractice and there are NO registered nurses​ in the office at all!

First class jacka$$. BEWARE Always HIDDEN FEE FOR SERVICES OTHER THAN ANNUAL CHECK-UP!Very rude and doesnt listen to your problem. Had a std test done and everything came back neg excepted Hep B. Went back to see him for further testing and he said my health was fine and the std test was likely a false positive. Maybe it was a false positive maybe it wasnt but its better be safe then sorry to have further lab work done, right? After all, it was my health, not his. I asked if Im going to die before he ordered anymore lab work.Went back to get result. Luckily the lab test came back neg however he stated that I wasnt immune to Hep B. Had an option- take 3 booster shots (cost $$$ out of my pocket even though I had health insurance) within 6 months and Im good for the next 20 yrs or so or take my chance and not have those shots go from there when/if I get Hep B..(Opt out for option 2) Told him, I may need him to fill out my health screening report for employment and he said to bring in the paperwork I did and found out it cost $25 for him to fill out the paperwork and $60 for the TB test. Wouldnt fill out my paperwork until I get the darn TB test done. Told his staff that my TB test was currently negative, I even bought in prove and I didnt need to take the test again for another 6 months. His rude staff GAVE ME SOME B*LLSH*T that I needed to retake the TB test every year for a negative result and every two years for a positive result. DOES ANYONE SEE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS SCENARIO OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING? I argued back and ford with that rude staff before I took my health screen paper back and told his rude staff to give me back my money and left.I always putted up with him because I didnt want to have to deal with searching for a new PCP and I hardly had to visit him. OFFICE VISIT=???, TB TESTING=$60, HIS SERVICES=$25 just to fill out health screen report, DTAP SHOT=$150 (2 yrs ago), OTHER VACCINATION SHOT=??? will put my bet on it, itll be over price and cost you an arm and a leg. After having to see him for three visits and dealing with his B*LLSH*T for this month alone, I reached my limit and now Ill take the time to search a new PCP. Please save yourself the pain and find another doctor.

Staffs are very rude and disrespectful!!!!! I just called them to confirm the order for my blood test (what they should have done at the same time they sent me to the clinic) and what they did were yelling and giving me a cranky attitude. This should not how you should treat your patients. This is the worst clinic/customer service Ive ever experienced. Please save yourself and dont come to this Dr if you dont want to have a bad day like I did 😠

Absolute worst doctor there is. Hes rude and doesnt believe anything you say is wrong, he shrugs it off & will just prescribe you pills if youre complaining too much. Doesnt believe in referrals. Hes extremely judgemental and doesnt even listen to what you have to say. He only has 2 nurses and while they are nice and do their best they do not speak english well at all. Takes forever to be seen, facility is small and dirty. I had been complaining of an issue since Novemember, now Feburary and my illness has gotten 100 times worse all because he didnt believe something was wrong with me and did not want to refer me. Please save yourself the pain and find a different doctor.

Love Dr. Dao. Always in and out in 15 to 20 mins. And never need to wait for paperworks. They do all authorizations right there. Thanks Dr dao for being awesome!!

WOW. i have never EVER been more furious with a doctors office. The girls on the phone are always SO RUDE and the office is dirty, old, and disgusting. The only doctor that makes you come back after a referral is expired even though he doesnt handle you anymore. I just cant even with this doctor. SHUT THEM DOWN.
