If you are looking for a laboratory work like urine test you can get it right away no waiting days to get your results not like other place I’ve been through there a lot of Bureaucratic calls, like you have to wait for 5 days to get your result or the Doctor needs to sign and release the results, realizing by the time you get your results it’s all most your days are gone keep in mind in this pandemic situation this office can give you the results right away, not to mention the staff Ms.Cynthia and Ms. Ali they are the ones that will take care of you on the spot and treat you that you have known them for sometime these kind customers skills are hard to come by now a days. Feeling relaxed and pampered with their customers service. They are multi oriented customer skills persons, Not to mention the Doctor who see me as well made a big impact to my reviews here, warm welcoming unprecedented feelings experience I have. Shelter Island Medical Group is -FAR & AWAY- the best general practice I have ever encountered. Easy, and often same week appointments. In house bloodwork for many tests accomplished during the visit for timely consultation. This sensible, efficient process does not waste my time with a follow-up vist and saves me money.(where does that happen... right)Dr Chambers is a skilled physician, seemlessly blending clinical science and expertise with a compassionate bedside manner. His support staff are equally professional, efficient and knowledgeable while exhibiting a cheerful and helpful demeanor. THIS IS WHAT MEDICINE SHOULD LOOK LIKE IN OUR COUNTRY.

Melanie the Clinic Manager is a gem!! She is running the show behind the scenes and always a delight! Both Dr. Chambers and Dr. Saleh are friendly and helpful. This clinic is well run and good for just about any medical problem. :)

Don’t go here; they’ll tell you one price over the phone and then bill you 2.5x times that amount one month later. When you call asking about it they’ll just blame your insurance and tell you they can’t do anything about it.Regardless, $200 for a doctor to prescribe you antibiotics over a virtual call is insane.

I’ve been coming to his clinic for years and I’ve always been pleased with the service and with Dr. Chambers. I just saw Dr. Saleh and he was great. He made me comfortable right away and took his tome to explain everything. This dude is smart. I’m glad Dr. Chambers finally got some good help!

Im writing to recommend the new physician Dr. Saleh. Have visited a few times and have been very happy with his professionalism and promptness. Great to see Shelter Island Medical continuing in great hands.

This place is very unprofessional!!!!! Every time my wife goes to this god awful clinic for a check up or what not they always tell her that they will call her but never do! But this time my wife had a referral from this cleaning for a CT scan for her migraines. That was over 10 days ago and never received any calls from the doctor about the results even when we called they simply say the doctor will call you. So today my wife decided to go up to the clinic just before she had to pick up our daughter from school. She waited and the time was running short so my wife asked to see if the doctor available because she had to pick up our daughter and the receptionist simply said So annoying, the doctor will call you. My wife ended up leaving. When I called there the receptionist was like oh no we wasnt talking to her! I call BS on that. Dont know why TRICARE is sponsoring this clinic if they treat there patient this way. Im switching.

This is the best clinic in Point Loma! Chambers and Saleh are the awesome! The staff is amazing!

I came to this office several weeks ago, and I cant say enough good things about this practice. From the front desk staff to the nurses, to the billing person and Dr. Chambers himself, I was incredibly impressed. These are kind, professional people who obviously care very much about the quality of care they provide. Dr. Chambers was upbeat, happy and put me at ease immediately. I have a serious fear of doctors and medical situations in general, and I was absolutely calmed by the atmosphere at this place. In a world where medical care can be brusque and impersonal and sometimes downright sloppy, its great to know that there are still practices like this where the staff is devoted to their profession.

I have suffered with poor health care ever since I lost my primary care physician 2 years ago...Finally a doctor who actually took my insurance and truly treated me as a person even beyond the symptoms Yes, medical care is expensive and insurance doesnt cover everything but I am finally healthy enough to breath without coughing! And even though I am just one person out of many, EVERYONE there made me feel like I was important and well cared for. Bravo! If I could give each person there a rating of 10 stars from Admin to Xray to Nurse to Dr. Chambers I would. Thank you again for being a Doctors office who cares!

Im sure Dr. Chambers is great but his associate was terrible. I will not be returning to this practice after an hour wait to just be seen for 5 minutes and dismissed by his associate. My appointment was at 8:15, wasnt seen until 9:15 and then 9:20 he leaves. Unacceptable.

Dr chambers is an excellent doctor.
