This review is for Dr. Sadrieh. Ive been seeing her for no less than 11 years and she is the best Primary Ive ever had. Shes down to Earth, compassionate, truly listens to me and gets me the resources, tests, and recommendations that Ive needed. Even when Im not able to see her, her PA is wonderful as well. I feel so blessed that I found her so many years ago!Additionally, I was looking for a referral to a rheumatologist and it was like pulling teeth with the rheumatologists to get an appointing. Karen Peralta went the extra mile to get me that referral. Shes got a tough job and I appreciate everything she did for me!

Dr. Eros has been my Doctor ever since I can remember. I have always had excellent care from her! She is super sweet, knowledgeable and takes time with me. My mom also sees her and has the same feelings. Suzanne her assistant is also amazing and has always been wonderful to me, she gives extra time with her patients as well, orders lab work for you and keeps you informed. Thank you Suzanne and Dr. Eros and all other clinical staff for your excellent patient care!

The only reason I stay with Metro is because of Dr Sadrieh, she is an amazing doctor. Otherwise, the staff is very lacking. Ive been a patient for at least 10 years so this is not just a one bad experience review. Every interaction with Metro from scheduling an appt to getting test results to front desk is consistently disappointing. The team overall is lacking in any type of good customer service skills. They act like they hate their jobs and they hate the patients. Not polite, upbeat, courteous or helpful in any way.

Dr. Sandrieh was wonderful when I had her, but the front desk plays shuffle with you so often that I never know what doctor I have. The front desk is never helpful, I rarely can squeeze in an appointment, I will not hear back from the office unless I call back repeatedly, they do not answer theyre portal, etc. Please do yourself a favor and choose another location.

I love this place! Yes, I waited a few weeks for an appointment but thats the case with most reputable care providers so I took that as a good sign. I went to their Mission Valley location and everyone was professional, welcoming and informative! Ive only been there once so far but Im excited to return, I dont think Ive ever felt that way towards my doctors office. Seriously, everyone there was delightful, from the receptionist, the the medical assistant and the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner I met with was Rachelle. Rochelle was great! She made me feel very comfortable discussing my health concerns and was willing to share her knowledge when I didnt know much about the subjects without making me feel like I should already know it all like my past doctors did. If youre looking for a new primary, I totally recommend this place, and Rochelle!

This review is not for Dr. Sadrieh because she deserves a 10/5 review, shes the best doctor I have ever had. Kind, caring and compassionate. The billing team at Metro is who deserves 0 stars. Ive been coming here for years and the billing has always been an issue:- Ive been sent to collections for a balance I was never made aware that I had.- Ive received more than 5 bills from them that are incorrect and have charges on them that are grossly wrong- They dont include insurance payments on their bills but will then send you a bill for the full amount of a service.Just today I received a bill in the mail from them for more than $400 for services that were already paid by my insurance a year ago.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you go here read your bills and confirm with your insurance EOB before paying anything. They regularly try to take money from people that is not due, and if you catch it they apologize and fix it, but what about all the people who just pay it!Very shady. I continue to come here because the doctor is so exceptional that Im willing to do some legwork to manage the billing myself.

This group is outstanding! As an older woman who had had unpleasant experiences with other physicians, I am so pleased to have found a group that is welcoming, caring, thorough and non-judgmental. As a new patient, with unexplained pain, I was taken the next day for a complete exam and detailed history. Follow-up lab work and radiology were set up right away as were consents for release of former medical records. I sincerely feel that I have found a team that is ready to support me and my health needs in a comprehensive manner. Unbelievable care!

Ive been with Dr Marin almost since the beginning. Her office was on Clairmont Mesa Blvd at the time, long before she moved to the office across from Sharp. Shes taken very good care of me over the years, but sadly now Im moving out of state and will have to look for someone as great. Yes, her office is often busy, but to me that just means a LOT of people think the same. I wish her and her staff well and will miss seeing her but I pray I can find someone as good when I get to my new home. So remember, the reason were called patients is because in almost all doctor offices, it requires patience in the appropriately named waiting room.

They rarely answer the phone - I have been trying to request an appointment for the past week and have called 20 + times and waited several hours on hold, only to be hung up on. I have tried requesting an appointment through the online portal but they never sent a log in code. I do not recommend their services.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I had an awesome physician who I always had a tremendous experience with. Unfortunately, she is currently out of the office on maternity leave. The administration staff is awful, and expect to wait on hold for at least 15 minutes each time you call.I called the office this morning and less than 30 minutes later I received a voicemail stating that my appointment had been cancelled. I called back for clarification and after waiting on hold for a total of 19 minutes I was told there was noting the office could do for me because I need to see a specialist first. Instead of honoring my appointment and treating me for my very common issue they would rather allow me to suffer without relief that a simple antibiotic could provide. I am unable to get into the specialists office for two weeks. If you want to seek medical help from an office that actually cares stay away from this facility. There is a reason for all of the one star reviews.Thankfully, with my insurance I am able to switch physicians easily. I am finding a new doctors office for my daughters and I today. I have never experienced something like this before: a true lack of care.***UPDATE***I received a phone call later in the afternoon saying to come into the office for my previously scheduled then cancelled appointment. I was actually in the process of finding a new primary care manager when the call came through. Since I still needed medical attention I went on in. I saw a different PA this time and she too was lovely. As of today I have only seen two physicians and they have both been great.Although, my situation was rectified I still feel the same as I did when I wrote my initial review.

Physician was good but horrible billing. I am still trying to correct a billing issue for a mishap their billing did when I received my annual physical which was fully covered, but they billed it under wrong age group. I called and corrected when I first received the insurance denial, now a eight months later I get the same bill. Serious incompetence, I have so much anxiety dealing with this, I am definitely but recommending them as a place to go.

Dr. Marin was very thorough in my physical exam and very nice as well. I usually see her NP Stephanie who I also like very much. Yes it is difficult to get a person on the phone here, but when you do they are very accommodating in getting you what you need as quickly as they can. Only recommendation is getting an early morning appointment because they usually get behind schedule in the afternoon and I had to wait an hour for a 4:30 apt once. Parking costs $3 here, but there is a Starbucks and Quiznos in the building. I have and would recommend my friends to this place.

Once I get there, everything is fine. But getting there is another story. They have the most customer unfriendly appointment system. Its very difficult to talk to anyone when calling in. Its too hard to give them my business. Its too bad that some fool told them to operate this way because it dilutes the competency and expertise of the doctors the way they present themselves to the patients.

The receptionist here is rude and has an attitude even when all you say is hi and seems like she hates her job. Makes me not like going to the doctors. Just makes your experience worse when you already don’t feel good and she has to make you feel worse by making you mad with her damn attitude

I tried to give this place 0 stars but it would not let me!This is the absolute worst place that I have ever had to deal with. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment and received a call the day of the appointment that the PA was sick and had to cancel all appointments but that they could reschedule me for the weekend (Saturday)...I assume that she will magically be healed by Saturday. I tried to get my Primary Dr. (Eros) to see me to fill a prescription but the next day she was sick as well and had to be admitted to the hospital and unfortunately the other Dr. on site was on Vacation. It took me 3 days of calling from work...wasting every break and lunch break trying to get thru to them. Jessica from scheduling needs to take a course in Customer Service because she is rude and threatened to cancel my appointment after I told her how ridiculous this has been. After finally getting my prescription filled they admonished me to be sure to keep my Saturday Appointment......really? They are as delusional as they come! Done! I will be changing Drs Immediately!

On my first visit, I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Sanas Sadrieh. Dr. Sadrieh took her time listening to me and providing care and solutions. The entire staff was warm and friendly, and they made sure I was comfortable throughout the length of my visit. On my second visit, I saw Tara Wagner at this office for flu-like symptoms and an infection. Tara was friendly, accommodating, and comforting. On my third visit, I saw Rochelle Zangen. For a third time, I was blown away by the compassion and quality of care that I received.Every time I visit this office, I leave with all of my questions and health concerns resolved. All of you ladies are kickass! Thank you for the exceptional care!

Dont even know where to begin with the billing issues regarding Metro Family Physicians. Ive Received numerous bills that I owe them various amounts of money when I paid them in full, using my debit card on Jan 5, 2196 and have my receipt as proof on the original day of service in JANUARY! My bank also has the transaction as further proof. To start, I was actually double-billed for the service. I called and spoke to both Susan at Metro and to Heidi in their billing department, who assured me that the one charge was a mistake and the second was for the doctor visit but that she also showed my payment as well so she would clear it out and I owed nothing, my credit was fine and this would not affect it in any way. The last time I spoke to Heidi about this was in mid April, again, assuring me I dont owe, I paid cash, I do have my receipt as proof and she would take care of it.Forward to today, May 16, 2016, I received yet another bill that I still owe, it is highlighted in yellow that I am 90-120 days late and the statement date is dated April 21, 2016. It took over three weeks to mail this to me, but you have the time to highlight how late you think I am?!?So, tomorrow I have to spend MY time calling Heidi to attempt to clear this up. I will also be calling the Better Business Bureau, the National Healthcare Anti-fraud Association, the state of CA medical board and Turko files on KUSI.Based upon other reviews, this happens often, and Im starting to think its a huge scam. How many people have paid and then get bills months later and pay them because they didnt have their receipt or couldnt quite remember from months ago, simply because the billing department for Metro Family Physicians simply cannot get their act together? This is a serious issue on their billing departmentss behalf and it is unethical and fraudulent. I dont want my credit affected by this bill that I PAID on January 5, 2016 to which I have my receipt and my bank shows the charge. I will be fighting this vigorously and will be finding a new doctor ASAP.Patients beware and always keep your receipts!

I reviewed earlier. Its below.I ended up leaving this place because they wasted my time with scheduling Errors and archaic medical advice regarding cholesterol. (They literally gave me a photocopy of a 35-year-old pamphlet with outdated information and then for some reason stood by it when I pointed out that it was old and no longer accurate.) I moved it to the UCSD system and I am much happier now.====I cant say enough about how friendly everybody is.I wish I could say communication lines were better, though.3-stars = Its okay2-stars = Disliked it.Both are true, so Id do two and a half stars if I could. It wouldnt be difficult for MFPHG to get another star or two out of me:- Faster prescriptions to pharmacy (some are instant, the latest is taking weeks and multiple calls)- Stop sending me email spam.- ...while taking many days to answer questions I send through the patient portal- ...which doesnt notify me when I have an answer from the staff, so I have to randomly login to see if theres a responseBut the location is okay, staff is friendly. Im too new to rate the care.My guess is that these are speedbumps thatll be smoothed out soon. Check back!

This place is horrible. I went in for a yearly physical which was suppose to be covered by my insurance..and i got a 40 dollar bill from them. I called to see why i was charged and they said because i told them i had a headache. They didnt even treat me or give me any medication but they still felt they could bill me 40 dollars for mentioning it.
