Dr. Fill is a very competent dentist! I had a dentist go out of my insurance plan and so asked a friend (DDS) to look over a list and he recommended Dr. Fill. I’ve had an easy time scheduling appointments and she is never rushed when dealing with my questions or concerns. I’ve also been happy that her dental hygienist gives a deep and painless cleaning. All around, she’s hired a quality support staff. Great dentist!

I think (like most adults) I have serious anxiety about dentist visits! And initially this visit was no different, BUT they make every attempt to put you at ease from the very first opportunity. They are still careful to maintain as much social distancing as possible - from waiting until your appointment time to actually go inside the office - to making sure you use sanitizer before you sign in. Dr. Fill and staff make sure you’re comfortable in the chair while they work and even let me use my sound canceling headphones while she had the drill going ( seriously who can stand that sound?????). Definitely the best visit I’ve had in a long time. I had some deep cleaning and a filling done. All work was done carefully and professionally. Very happy with result. And will be going back again.

Genuinely kind and caring; highly competent and professional staff from top to bottom. After a recent bad dentist experience, the experience I had with Dr. Fill and her staff was so refreshingly good that i now look forward to my next dentist appointment, lol!I needed a last minute appointment and they got me in literally the next day, they were both attentive to details and my comfort level and I could tell that each staff member loves and is highly competent at what they do and providing the highest quality of care and service.

Fill Dental staff are very professional and friendly. Check in was easy, I did not have to wait once I checked in for my appointment. The X-ray tech was very friendly and pleasant. Dr. Fill was delightful as well and explain the findings of my dental exam. The hygienist was great as well. She wasn’t rough when she did my cleaning and she cared about patients lips being dry during procedure. I appreciated her attention to details of the little things that other hygienist in past ignored. My overall experience was great and it was also my first dental experience not associated with the military in over a decade.

Every single person in there from the front desk, to the chairs with the bright lights, are very sweet and kind. I still have a few more visits to get some more things taken care of before heading overseas, but I can say for sure that even though Im a big baby about what I still need done-Im very happy it will be with these great folks. I have three kids that are always treated so nicely by Dr. Fill and the rest of the staff. We never have to wait long. My hygienist was so kind and paid attention to details like my dry lips, and sensitive teeth. They all seem to really enjoy what they do.

I had to go in for an emergency procedure, and Dr. Fill and her assistant were very patient and reassuring to me through the hour and half I laid with my mouth propped open! Awful experience especially if you have a dental HMO. They consider hmo like charity and charge an arm and a leg for extra care.

Everyone involved was pleasant and professional. If you’re fed up with waiting two hours when you have an appointment, or “unsold” addition services, you’ll be pleased with your experience here. Also, I didn’t have to wait two months to get an appointment. I left my appointment without having my gums shredded or anything painful. X-rays were taken very quickly, so I feel confident that if there were issue, they would have spotted it. My teeth are happy, and so am I. :-)

I saw these reviews and thought wow this will be great. I signed up for my first appointment and spoke to a Brenda on the phone. We scheduled an appointment after she looked me up and told me my first visit will be $42 no matter what. I called back and scheduled an appointment on the phone.I looked at my plan. I noticed I have all these codes to cover a first time visit. I kindly asked what code they would be charging me before the appointment, as I like to know what I am getting charged for, and she said over the phone after I scheduled my appointment there are 8000 plans out there and I dont have the time to argue or talk codes with you sir (when no one was arguing). I will be taking off your first appointment, Brenda replied. I asked her not to please do that. She mentioned that the Costco plan is similar to a welfare plan and it doesnt cover any of their overhead costs as it is a private practice and they couldnt stay in business if they just charged people for covered codes. Brenda also mentioned that is why they only like to see one to two of what she related to Welfare cases Costco members a week due to that. Brenda cancelled my 2pm on the phone and hung up on me mid sentence before she even allowed me to come in and show her what codes were covered.If you people at Doris Fill think all us Costco Members, particularly you Brenda, are some sort of welfare cases then stop working with Costco because guess what ... If you are a person shopping at Costco your probably doing better than some welfare case. I will be taking this matter up with Costco and be making sure they are aware of how I was treated before even being seen.

My families experience with Dr. Fill and her staff was incredible. We were welcomed and had no wait time to begin our appointments. My husband had been suffering on and off with incredible tooth pain and had seen two dentists prior to try and resolve the issue. Both dentists did procedures that minimized the pain for a couple of weeks but the pain came back. Dr. Full knew exactly what the issue was and was able to resolve it almost immediately. I take my 10 year old daughter to Dr. Fill and she is amazing with kids. Dr. Fill is professional, kind, and honest. I highly recommend her and her staff!

Dr. Fill is great. She takes great care of me every time I visit and never tries to push me into unnecessary work or procedures, like I’ve experienced with other dentists. My whole family sees Dr. Fill and she has worked very well with my children’s orthodontist. My kids actually look forward to going to Dr. Fill, but I suspect it’s more for the toy box they get to pick from after the appointment. I guess I’m not opposed to a little bribery if it teaches kids to like going to the dentist. Being from Point Loma, I appreciate that Dr. Fill lives in Point Loma and we see her at school functions and community events.

Coming into town on Amtrak for a cruise, i had some tooth pain and feared I might need a root canal procedure. Dr. Fill was within walking distance of our motel, so I called the office.
