This is a well managed and very efficient dental office. They observe all the safety protocols during Covid-confinement, and I appreciate that. The staff is friendly and personable. The office managers try to save my money, to make each visit a better value for me.The office is on the fourth floor and has beautiful city and bay views.

Davids appointment was at 10 but his work wasnt finished until 12 marjories appointment was at 11 and she only got her evaluation done by 12 so we need to have better service

In the past I have had very pleasant experiences at this dentist. However I have noticed within the past year the majority of the staff is new and inexperienced. My first issue started with my appointment time. I scheduled an appointment a month prior but when I received my reminder a different time was listed. After calling to confirm, the receptionist told me she would call me back with a time correction, mentioning that one of the staff may have changed it without telling me. She didnt call me back until the next day and instead of addressing the time mistake she says Your insurance was terminated do you have another insurance? I was startled by her horrible etiquette especially for being a receptionist. I replied to her that I just changed jobs and that I could give her the new insurance when I came into my appointment. She proceeded to hang up on me before I reminded her that she never addressed my appointment time. She replied Oh I changed that for you. My second issue was with the dental hygienist, who although was very nice, she did a VERY sloppy/rushed job cleaning my teeth, I had to ask her to clean the back right after she completely neglected to polish it and she never even flossed my teeth. She even brushed the suction against the chair and put it my mouth directly after. Then the dental assistant came in to explain my fees. She was a bit hard to understand and told me a figure i.e. $500 twice. Then at the end of the speech she showed me the paper that actually listed a different amount i.e. $600 for the procedure. I asked her why did she say $500 when the cost is actually $600. She kept on pointing to the paper and saying a completely different number than initially stated. Long story short, there are some staff that make this office undesirable, however other staff like Dr. Saldana have been wonderful in the past.

First of all I congratulate The Affinity Dental Clinic for their Covid19 procedure while I was in the office. It was so clean and social distancing with the other patients was good. As always friendly/informative stuff and doctors. They are the best 💯

I had a great experience, I appreciated their COVID protocol, everyone was nice and friendly. Arya really took the time to talk to me and get to know me and my wants / needs she was very informative. I absolutely loved the Doctor she was extremely attentive, I don’t feel like they pushed any unnecessary work they didn’t make me feel bad about not having gone to the dentist in a while. I have nothing but good things to say. I saw a post on here that was extremely unhelpful and I wanted to address it because it says how the office it outdated and old . It is an older office but they have a pano machine and digital X-rays , they’re using all the proper PPE. All the dental technology I was exposed too is not only up to date but also the latest dental appliances. It’s homey you know if you’re looking for this Beverly Hills type of office then by all means go to a dentist in Beverly Hills but I never once felt like I was not safe ? The place is NOT falling apart let’s put it that way. Honestly one should be worried about the dental work someone provides not wether or not the curtains are to your liking. They explained that they were checking my insurance so as one should make sure you’re covered before you go . It’s your responsibility the office does it as a courtesy but don’t be surprised of unexpected bills . It happens and NO, no one is trying to take advantage of you. They told me they would send me a treatment plan for the work I need and although I haven’t yet received it yesterday was a holiday so I’m sure I’ll get it soon. If you’re looking a home like no pressure no discrimination type of office this is the one.

I called today to inquire about the procedure for new patients without insurance. My question to, Angie, or the front desk receptionist around 3:17-3:20pm was in regards to the initial appointment process. I have a friend that would be considered a new patient and is seeking to have a cleaning. My question to Angie was regarding the initial exam fee for the X-ray and Exam appointment as well as the following cleaning fee? I called several offices before contacting Affinity and received very helpful feedback, however, the front desk receptionist (Angie) informed me that she wasn’t EXPECTING to answer those questions from me at the time due to the fact that she was helping another patient. I was absolutely shocked to hear this response. I work in customer service and its most beneficial for business to address all call handling with TACT as well as Professionalism. Perhaps the company and its management department could evaluate your EXPECTATIONS! After being COMPLETELY DISMISSED!!! I felt that there was No need to proceed with the conversation. Ive has work done with Affinity before and wanted to refer a friend to the company. However, I am absolutely reluctant to refer as well as return for further service in the future! I would have been satisfied if I was offered to be placed on hold momentarily and assured that my needs would be addressed in a timely manner! Unprofessional and rude!!

You will be in good hands at Affinity Dental. The dental hygienist was gentle with cleaning, the front desk staff was accommodating in scheduling, and the dentist was personable. There is also ample parking! The only room for improvement would be to update their machinery/devices, but I wouldnt let that deter you in your decision to find a dental provider.

Ive been a client for over about a decade & Ive been very happy overall. I recently got a new dental hygienist, however, that was a bit too sloppy for me. He left fluoride gel all over my lips & it looked like I was drooling all over myself. He needs more practice & better technique.

I was in for just a cleaning. The staff were polite and efficient. That said, gone are the days during a cleaning where the dentist even if just for a moment, sticks their head in just to say Hi and ask if all is going well. Yes, I know the hygienist does that and Yes, I understand everything is about efficiency these days, but if you are looking for a bit of a personal touch and considering you are going to a dental office, having an actual dentist just poke their head if only for a matter of seconds even for a regular cleaning would make a lot of difference to many clients. I can still remember a time when the dentist did the actual cleaning :-)

Everyone is so nice and really seem to care about you. Though it is located in a office building, the interior is decorate to seem like an old Victorian home - - which matches the surrounding community. Furnishings, flooring, wall paintings, etc. are beautiful and comfortable. They also play tasteful and critically acclaimed movies in the front waiting area. Nice touch.

I recently chipped my tooth really bad at a local restaurant. As soon as I got home I called my dental office, Affinity Dental Hillcrest. Im thankful they were able to fit me in the very next day. Literally within 24 hours of this mishap Dr. Ben was working on my tooth, unfortunately the damage was so bad Dr. Ben needed to set me up with a temporary crown. Dr. Ben and his assistant Erica took very good care of me. They make a great team. I am deeply thankful to Dr. Bens expertise and great disposition. This place is great! Needed a few things done and Sandy was great at explaining the situation and different options available. She was patient with me, while i decided what i wanted to do. The office staff was cheerful and friendly and the office looked cozy. This is my new favorite dentist office!

The Dentist was terrific.Very meticulous.The receptionist worked me in for an appointment that day as I was in need to see the dentist for a broken inlay The only complaint I have is while I was in the chair the office lady came in and said how much the visit would be.When I got to the Receptionist to pay they tacked on an additional fee about a mini exam.I would tell them to just be upfront about the total cost which I would gladly pay anyway.

Had a bridge installed and the whole Affinity Dental group are all very professional and have the office and employees safely prepared for all clients during this Covid Pandemic

I went in today for a root canal and was incredibly nervous but the staff here was very reassuring to me that everything was going to be fine ! The patient care here was amazing ! Going to the dentist has always been kind of a nerve-wracking experience for me but everybody in the office made the experience so much easier for me today!

Resently we took our 92 yr old mother in for a tooth extraction. My mom balked--it took 15 min of allay her fears. Everyone helped to reassure her. They were all so kind and patient and the dentist was so gentle. The procedure turned out to be complicated. When it was all done, my mom actually thanked the staff and said she was glad they did it! How thankful I am!!

About 8 months ago, I had a tooth break. I was able to get in that next day. They fix that and they did a deep cleaning. Everyone in the office was wonderful. I have been back for more cleaning. Now my husband is going back for a second visit to have his crown work started. Yes, I will recommend Affinity Dental to anyone who needs dental work. Love the people there. They are very caring.

I had my first visit (exam and X-rays) today at Affinity Dental - Hillcreat today, and I will definitely be returning for my dental needs! Everybody from the front receptionist back to the X-ray tech, dental assistant, and debris were very helpful and friendly, and offer great conversation! I wasnt rushed through my visit, and time was taken to explain everything to me so I comprehended it well. I plan to return for my recommended dental work, and will update my review accordingly to better reflect their services. :)

Dr. Miller is incredibly knowledgeable, and was very professional, giving me a couple of options for my Invisalign treatment. Options that I was not given with my previous dentist. For that I am very grateful and would recommend this practice wholeheartedly

I love this dental office. Everyone is like family. The doctors are very professional and courteous and the regular hygienist is awesome. I know they wont recommend treatments I do not need. They also see my kids for their dental needs and my kids are very comfortable there. I highly recommend this dental office.

Ive had pretty bad experiences with dentists since moving here from the bay area until I came here. Became a patient just before Christmas 2018 and I have been very happy with the Dr kory and her staff. The whole office is kept very clean and that is very important to me. Also , all my appointments have always been on schedule , also a huge plus because thats very rare at any office youll go to.

After this office has your business/money, the extra care is lost. The last two appointments at Affinity left me feeling like I was on an assembly line to generate profit- there was no aftercare discussion. My cleaning (a deep cleaning but not the deepest) was fantastic. Both the hygienist and the assistant were very helpful and didnt rush me through everything - I hadnt been to a dentists office for several years and had questions as well as trepidation concerning pain. I ended up feeling NO PAIN, and I am now confident I will go back in six months and continue to take care of my teeth properly.

My visit was a referral from Kaiser under their insurance plan. I had an appointment within 2 days for the evaluation and the wait was only ~15 minutes (the reason I gave two stars instead of only one). My reason for the visit was to have the upper appliance re-lined as well as the lower to close a slight gap between appliance and the gum line with my 3 implants.An inexperienced, technician (under the supervision of another x-ray tech) took several x-rays of my upper and the lower jaw with the three implants. Several had to be re-taken because the target was not sufficiently visible in the image.Then I was seen by an assistant who ordered a scan that was to be an extra $150.00. I asked if she was a dentist. She said she was a long term assistant to the DDS. I asked repeatedly to see the dentist, they did the scan without the doctor approving the need.This scan was done by the x-ray tech who was previously supervising . She placed my chin at too low a level, which made my back stick out to the point where the device could not rotate. It was re-done, with me standing upright. Not the sign of a trained professional!!I asked the assistant again to see the dentist and after insisting to see the dentist the DDS finally arrived and stayed in the background.Back at the counter they gave me the bill with an estimate with average prices that apparently reflected insurance participation. This bill states that the lower was secured by two implants, when in fact there are three.The fact that I had to insist to see the dentist. In all my dentist appointments through my life I met the dentist either first or right after the seating even for cleaning. The inaccurate count of implants shattered my confidence and I did not make a follow-up appointment and told them that I would check with my original dentist who did all the previous work in my mouth.Thats what I ended up doing and I am very happy I did. The original dentist did all the work and gave me an unexpected, most generous, discount since Kaiser would not cover this as he is out of network.I should mention that Affinity Dental did NOT charge me for the $150.00 scan, they must have realized that a billable procedure needs the approval of the DDS. I am not out any money at Affinity Dental except for the low co-pay.

Almost everyone was very accommodating. I needed attention on very short notice and I received it. Dr. Kory is delightful as is front office staff.

The dentists and their techs are very, very good. Got the best teeth cleaning I ever had - got rid of stains others just couldnt get in the past. I also received good advice about work needed and good advice about things I need to do in better ways at home. And they dont waste my time.

They were my dental office from 2005-2008 and 2015-2018 (I moved away and came back). I was so happy with their service and staff that I only wanted them to be my dentist. I have had a lot of work done on my teeth over the years and they were far and away the best to me.

I had made an appointment for a yearly exam, they wanted to do a deep cleaning I said I will schedule a follow up appointment for my teeth cleaning and the dentist told me I was wasting their time. The office staff was nice, the dentist, she needs to check her attitude

Other than the fact that it was a visit to the dentist I found the staff to be helpful and considerate.They explained every step in the teeth cleaning procedure and were mindful and concerned about my comfort. I required a consultation with Dr. Khoury and, even without a prior appointment, she fitted me into her schedule.

I am super scared to go to the dentist but finally decided to go due to this tooth ache Ive been having. They made me feel at ease and reassured me everything was going to be okay. I was surprised at the extra charge when I checked out. No one informed me that I had the option of accepting or denying an additional service...or what that procedure was. I should have refused to pay but I was dumbfounded by it.
