Unprofessional. My mother went in for a procedure and the dentist refused to complete it because his technique was triggering her gag reflex. Isn’t this a common occurrence for patients to feel at the dentist? Bless your soul if you’re able to endure items in your mouth without ever feeling discomfort. This location should look into hiring patient, real professionals and not dramatic, uncooperative divas.

The absolute worst experience Ive had with a dentist. I sceduled the appointment due to my filling falling out and my wisdom teeth comming in. The dentist Mr. Johnson entered the room without even introducing himself, i had to ask who he was (first thing that was off). The first thing he said was do you floss and proceeded to give me a kindergarten hand lesson on flossing which he could have spared. I also noticed no conversation between the dental assistant and the dentist which every dentist Ive ever been to they are talking to eachother and conversating but the energy was very weird here. He then begins to go through my xrays and huffed and puffed under his breath and im thinking in my head ok you dont like your job and I feel it strongly or youve had a long day which I shouldnt be paying for. This is what really annoyed me, he goes through my teeth with a needle like tool as roughly as could be as im clenching my fist and tensing up but that didnt stop him. I said ouch and my body language definately screamed IT HURTS and he did a yea whatever kind of mumble. He was saying numbers to the dental assistant about each of my teeth but NOT AT ALL EXPLANING what his findings were which made me extremely annoyed. After all thier MY TEETH! I tired to ask questions because a normal dentist explains his findings but it was like he was mumbling and trying to get it over with. I tried to ask another question and he said i just pull your teeth i dont do anything else. It was very dismissive. I recieved a refferal for a orthodontist and for oral surgery and they sceduled an appointment at the end of the month for me to come back for what I assumed was to fix the HOLE in my tooth. Fastforward two weeks later I found another dentist because I knew I wouldnt be back. So Ive attempted to call City Heights Dental for two days to get my xrays faxed to my new dentist. I ended up calling another dentist tied to Family Health Care because Im sure they have access to my records. I spoke to some guy who explained that City Heights is swaped because of Covid and i responded with that explains the service I received. He emailed me my X-rays and confirmed if ive recieved my refferal for my wisdom teeth and then we discussed my next appointment with City Heights Dental which I said should be for a filling. Heres the kicker! He said its for a deep cleaning. So I call City Heights and I get the front desk lady on the line and I ask her to confirm what my appointment is for and she said deep cleaning I told her I need a filling and she said thier not doing fillings right now. WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO ME? as thats the only reason Im even dealing with you people. Thier communicaton is horrid and I could have saved myself a bad experience had I known this. Im happy to never return! I literally left with more questions then when i came. My two dentist appointments since then have been great! Hopefully your experience here is better 💚

Get ready to wait for awhile. I had an appointment for 12PM to fix my fractured tooth. After an hour of filling out paperwork, I was told that they lost my appointment (even though I had an email verification and text message). They claimed there was nothing they could do, but if I didnt mind waiting they could try and squeeze me in. 4 hours later I just ended up having to leave because they were about to close. If youre looking for a professional dental clinic, I would advise looking elsewhere.

I came in as a walk in for (agonizing) dental issues, and was clearly in at the wrong time for such an appointment. Litzy helped me initially, and checked to see if I could be squeezed in the schedule.Dr. Johnson was my dentist, and he was as professional as I would hope for.The wait was minimal, the staff friendly and professional, and they assisted me in getting these problems solved.I will definitely come back!! Thank you!

It was very busy here, I had a toothache so bad that I couldnt focus. They gave me a form to fill out, I filled it out, they gave me another form, for my doctor to fill out. He filled it out wrong, it turned into a run around between the dentist and my doctor. I wish theyd given me gas money lol. The real kicker is when i went it and the receptionist rolled her eyes at me. Very unprofessional. Also, they wrote my birthdate down incorrectly despite having my ID. I dont know how they managed that. Anyways yeah the service sucked so I went to a different dentist who got me in right away and was super nice. I will never come back here.
