Dr. Landau and his staff are amazing! I have had a lot of appointments with them over the last 2 years and am 100% happy with all of them (cleanings and fillings) Dr. Landau has replaced all of my old metal fillings (6?) with nice white composites and also recently completed some nice new bonding for my front teeth. All looks and feels great. Office is clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and remembers all about you. Even the music selection is pretty good.

A lot comes into play when you see a dentist. I know because I have had a LOAD of work done over the years. I want the office to be welcoming and efficient. If my appointment is at 10a, I want to be seen within 5-10 minutes of that time...not ONE minute more. I also want to feel that my dentist (Dr. Doug Campbell) is up to date on all the latest technology, skilled, patient, and a perfectionist.Art of Dentistry nails it. They really do. If it were up to me, I would have settled for less that perfect teeth. But Dr. C ensured that I did not. Additionally, I love that the office will work with your schedule and personal needs. I prefer to schedule appointments after I leave the office. Also, I expire after about 2 hours. They know this. And they know that I will happily break up appointments so that no single appointment is too long. (I watch Netflix during the long appointments!)Last, the support staff here is so on the money. They are all friendly and accommodating. And efficient!! This really is key. I also get the feeling that they all really like one another. This creates a warm environment.Cant recommend Dr. Doug Campbell more. I have been going to this office for a decade+ I know.

Though most would dread a visit to the dentist, the Art of Dentistry is truly a private practice that breaks the mold (pun most definitely intended). As soon as I walked in, I was graciously greeted by kind, smiling receptionists, who ensured that I was well taken care of and that I received any help I might need. My cleaning with Darcie was one of the most painless and thorough cleanings I have ever experienced. Not only was she careful and precise with her instruments, she was also extremely mindful of my comfort the entire time (something you most certainly do not get in most dental offices). Dr. Campbells feedback was extremely insightful and instructive, and was not too hard on me, though I am sure he could tell that the quality of my oral care left a lot to be desired. Like my hygienist, he was quick to put my mind at ease with plenty of funny remarks and humor, making me practically forget I was in a dental chair. What is different about this office is that I feel like I am part of a family, and that I am not simply another client. I cannot recommend this office enough.

I am one lucky girl! I recently complete Invisalign treatment at another dentistry office and was planning to get my teeth whitened to removed the yellowing that happened during the course of treatment. As anyone knows, this is a pricy endeavor.I happened to participate in a fundraiser for kids with special needs and I submitted a ticket into a raffle for teeth whitening. Lo and Behold, I won! Little did I know how lucky I really was... but I was soon to find out.I set myself up to come in for my first appointment with the office, the Art of Dentistry, to assess my teeth for treatment. My first impression of the office was, Wow!First, the office is uniquely decorated in a way that feels quite luxurious with interesting art and sculptures everywhere. They definitely see dentistry as an art and not just a clinical practice. Beautiful! But even more compelling to me was how I was treated by the office staff. I had never received such a warm welcome from any dental office...and Ive been to quite a few.As for the whitening treatment, they provided me their highest quality product, the KOR whitening system, and gave me the VIP treatment to go with it. I was so overwhelmed by their generosity of time and resources. I had several in-office visits to make sure the treatment would have the best possible outcome. Each time I went in they were so kind and accommodating of my little 5-year-old crumb-making sidekick.I love my teeth. I love smiling a big teethy grin. I was so self-conscious before treatment. The whitening system was mine to keep with extra whitening to do touch ups as needed. Wow! This is a superbly run office. Top doctors, first tier technology, highly skilled support staff and most importantly everything is aimed at minimizing discomfort from arranging appointments to actually having the procedures most of us would avoid if we could. The service at all levels of the practice are excellent. This really does put the ART in dentistry.

I had recently moved to San Diego and had not yet established myself as a patient with a new Dentist, when I had an unexpected injury that required immediate attention.Dr. Landau and the team saw me that day, completely outlined the severity of my injury, the required treatments, timelines, costs, and everything I can expect along the way. They took excellent care of me not only from a dental standpoint, but a mental one as well.Sometimes heading to the Dentist office can be spooky, but I never felt that way when I was in the office. Dr. Landau was always excited to see me, and like the challenge of making the repairs that were specific to my injury. His enthusiasm to fix the damage, made me feel at ease throughout the entire procedure. I have worked with many of the hygienists and all have been friendly and professional and made me want to be a model patient. Does anyone love going to the dentist? Maybe not. Ive been seeing the dentists at AoD for more than 20 years now and I can say that all the staff make every effort to give the best care to a patients individual needs. I never feel as though they recommend something unneeded. I truly appreciate the fine quality of their work. Over the years, depending upon the problem, Ive been treated by each of the dentists at the practice. Im always treated with respect.Now, some background. I grew up in a small town in southern Louisiana where there was only one dentist. He was rough and rushed. I developed a near phobia of dental visits. Later after undergraduate school I moved to New Orleans and the woman who was my dentist was not unpleasant but my phobia continued throughout the 30 years there.I moved to San Diego in 1998 and at the recommendation of a friend who was a patient at Art of Dentistry I made an appointment. From my first visit with Dr. Addleson and René a hygienist I realized that this was a different kind of place. Everyone was quite pleasant the atmosphere was relaxed. Rene took her time with the hygiene procedures. She was careful when working on sensitive areas. That was the first time in 47 years that I left a dental appointment not feeling bad. While Im not eager to go to my dental appointments (who is?) I realized that I havent lost sleep the night before an appointment since I started care provided by this team.René is long retired and Ive had several hygienists all of whom are equally careful and caring.

Ive been seeing Dr. Campbell for about 5 years now and he is TRULY THE BEST!! I dont even live in San Diego anymore but am happy to drive the 2.5 hours to see him. He is so talented at cosmetic work and made my teeth look perfect. Additionally, he has filled several cavities for me and this is the first dentist where Ive never felt any discomfort during or after the process. Dentists can be super hit or miss, and Ive experienced horrific ones in the past, which is why I refuse to go anywhere else now. Also want to give a shoutout to Darcy and the other fabulous hygienists, my teeth have never felt cleaner! Couldnt recommend this office more, they have taken great care of me and are always super nice!

How can I even begin to describe the difference Dr Addleson made in my life when he performed my smile makeover almost 13 years ago? He is an incredible artist, a wonderful person, and left an impression on me that will last forever.I left San Diego and moved to the east coast soon after he created my beautiful smile.
