WOW! I don’t know were to start, I am extremely pleased with all the work performed and couldn’t be happier with the progress made in such a short time. The whole staff was so Kind & so knowledgeable every single person I encountered made me feel very comfortable. Had a tooth extraction today and I’m deathly terrified of the dentist and the fact I had to be awake you could only imagine the panic attack I had prior to my appt. Dr. Tran was so comforting and incredibly quick. I was in and out in 40 mins. Everyone here has been so amazing! I highly recommend this office.

Came in for a horrible tooth ache and the doctor was able to fix it that day. Not only that but they made sure my experience was basically painless and easy. I have always had anxiety with dentist because of a previous bad experience but I didn’t feel anxious at all the whole time. Where do I begin. This place is so amazing! To start the customer service is impeccable. On my first visit they welcomed me and made me feel like I’ve been going there my whole life! When I talked to the dentist she informed me of everything that was going on with my mouth! She provided me with several options, solutions and information to the work that I need to get done. She was very informative! The second appointment it got even better my dentist Dr. Gladvin made me feel at ease . Check this out he even turned on the chair to massage me! When he numbed me to get ready for my procedure. He could understand that I was uncomfortable with needles . But he made it painless and quick . Let me tell you that the work is spectacular! This is by far the best dentist I have been to! They text you for appointment conformations and tell you that they are looking forward to seeing you. Did I mention the the great music selection and great assistants ! This will forever be the place I choose and I know that if you get services here you will too.

When it comes to hospitality and making my dentist experience as happy as can be - A+ on El Cajon Blvd does it best. The receptionists, assistants, and of course, Dr. Gladvin, are always happy to see me. It makes me happy to see them! My few experiences going to A+ have been amazing and I can’t wait to return for my checkup in a few months.

Dr. Víctor is nothing short of a miracle worker. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 20+ years and would have panic attacks any time I just walked into a dental waiting area. However, I met with the dentists at A+ and we worked out a treatment plan including sedation so I could be relaxed. As you can imagine, I had plenty of work to be done. After just a few weeks of seeing Dr. Victor a couple times a week, I now go without any sedation and love my new smile. I cannot stress enough how great they are especially with people who have concerns or major work to be done. Everyone there is family and celebrate each milestone as I progressed to where I am at now.

I came in for a dental emergency after years of avoiding the dentist due to anxiety and extremely sensitive teeth. The entire staff has been so accommodating and worked with me to not only get my emergency dealt with, but get a plan in place for the future while making sure Im comfortable every step of the way!

I have been going here for about a year. I had one cavity filled and I get cleanings done every 3 months. Its slightly more expensive and out of the way of other dentists I have tried, but it is worth it. I have had a complicated dentist history and A LOT of bad experiences with dentists. I have seriously seen at least 13 different dentists and establishments. I feel comfortable here, everyone on all levels communicates with me and it is a very well run establishment. I adore my hygienist Claudia and schedule my appointments around her. One time they messed with one of my appointments a few times, I came in and they said Claudia was booked. I was very annoyed because I rearranged my schedule so that I could see Claudia specifically. They were extremely apologetic, tried to make it work for me, and in the end I settled for a different hygienist that day. She was AMAZING. I felt so silly for making a stink. Ive just had so many bad experiences with hygienists and dentists, I was scared to see one other than Claudia. I was so impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism of everyone there, every time I go. I feel HEARD there. So I pay more and drive 20 minutes out of the way to go there.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, pleasant facility. Massage chairs and TV or music is a great distraction while work is being done! Easy to get to.

I had procedures done with not Dr. Gladvin and Dr. Victor my experience working with them was always amazing. Both these dentist were always welcoming and gentle with any procedures I had done. I like how kind they can be — but their lack of understanding of the current circumstances of people’s lives when it comes to finances, such as being heavily affected by covid, is complexed. They try to offer their best customer service, but are not entirely inclusive and understanding of their clientele’s hardships.The parking can be tough during busy hours, but I also didn’t expect to receive attitude when I told them that my car was blocked in (even though I was told to 🙃). Overall disappointed, probably would have been treated differently if I had money.

I dont review much, but damn:- relaxed ambience and staff. no joke, they operate on you in massage chairs to maintain vibe and comfort level.- attentiveness to my needs. i shared that ive had a rough dental history, and they listened and were able to put my worries at ease.- they encourage education and proper preventative care. not only do they treat you right but they try to make sure you dont come bother them often.toasts to Ken, Katya, and of course Dr Doan for helping me come out of my 4-year hiatus squeaky clean

I came in for a regular cleaning and the dentist refused to do the cleaning that my health insurance covered. He said they needed to do a deep cleaning which I understood but nevertheless they kicked and screamed during my cleaning I could tell. Once I told them I only wanted to take care of what my insurance covers at the moment, customer service went right out the window. I agreed to start a payment plan for my next follow up appoint for a deep cleaning that was suppose to be $600. Turns out they set me up on a plan for a total of $1000 and randomly stopped taking my payments. This place is suppose to a “family” dentistry but it’s more like a used car lot. Awful.

The Techs & Dentists were very detailed with the information given and totally made sure understand eveything that will be done..The Admin staff were definitely caring and made you feel easy about financing and scheduling..I dont have the names, I will Dr.Victor, Sarah , Gonzales took care of me as if i was the only patient as well as Goli, Danielle as well as the rest of the staff always made me feel welcomed. Claudia is a great hygienist! I was only due for my teeth cleaning, not an exam, however she noticed that my recession seemed much worse so she quickly grabbed a doctor to look. Sure enough, my root was almost exposed and they recommended I get a filling done ASAP, and they even were able to fit me in later that day with Dr. Janice who I’ve been seeing for the past year! I really appreciated this since it’s very difficult for me to get time off work. The staff at A+ Family Dentistry really care about their patients and try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend them for your oral and orthodontic needs! Dr. Janice is very skilled in Invisalign as well!

What a terrific experience as a new client for A+ Family Dentistry. Their name reflects the quality of service and care you receive as soon as you walk through their doors. I’ve never had a dental office be as thorough as A+ was. From sending multiple reminders and confirmations about my appointment, to showing informative videos, photos, and a closeup view of my teeth, I feel like I learned more about my dental health in my first visit here than all the visits I’ve had combined over the years. Dr Janice is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel as though I’ve known her forever. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit here, which is the first time I think I’ve ever said that about a dental office! I highly recommend them.

My experience with Dr. Gladvin has been amazing and every tech has been so nice. I had a dental cleaning, two rounds of glow and had my front tooth filling replaced. The shape was off before and Dr. Gladvin did such a good job fixing it for me. I also got a night guard, because of grinding my teeth when I sleep and their prices are very reasonable. It’s so hard to find a good dentist that prioritizes your needs and doesn’t try to push anything you really don’t need and I felt very well taken care of and that he was genuine and trustworthy. I highly recommend.

I never expected how friendly and comfortable it would be, I been afraid to go and clean my teeth for I hadn’t going back to my previous dentist. However this place is really good, comfortable and helpful and the their prices is reasonable too.

Everyone I’ve talked to — the dentist, the hygienist, the assistants, and the administrators— have been friendly or downright charming. Everyone has been transparent and informative. It also seems like a really diverse workplace, which is fantastic.The place looks put together and clean and the entire staff takes care with COVID practices. Their chairs give a subtle massage, and their top-of-the-line equipment is placed in good hands; I’m much less sore after coming in than in other places.My one and only issue is that prices are higher than expected. I don’t think they go out of their way to fleece folks - they seem to suggest what they consider to be the best course of action and they’re kind regarding financial constraints.Good equipment costs good money. Totally understandable. But my insurance covers less of the work here than other places. Maybe that says more about the insurance than the dentistry. If I could, this would be a 4.5 star review.All in all, I would recommend this place to my friends and family. And I’m happily making this my new dentistry.

So let me first start by saying that I’m not very good when it comes having to go to the dentist I normally avoid it as much as possible. My experience at A+ Family Dentistry how ever has been an amazing one they have taken amazing care of me from day one and it definitely doesn’t have the feel of a dentist office when you come in it’s very comfortable. The staff are amazing and kind from the moment you walk in till it’s time for you to leave. I highly recommend A+ Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a dentist in the San Diego area.

They are gentle and patient. Everyone is awesome from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the doctors. My favorite hygienist is Berenice, she has been deep cleaning my teeth and gums for a few years now, she keeps me informed and is genuinely concerned for my health. Had fillings done today, over covid I ate too much sweets. Luckily Dr. Janice and Lizzet took care of me. So happy with my fillings and enjoyed the experience. Having a Dr. with steady hands, small hands at that :), and very considerate of patient comfortability made this easy and pain free. I can’t thank them enough. Would highly recommend if you are high maintenance like me lol.

I cant believe that I walked away feeling HAPPY about having cavities filled. Usually when I go to the dentist I am alway tense but not at A + family dentistry. Very one was very professional and love their job.
