Megan Hefti, hair stylist extraordinaire! She is the best stylist youll ever meet, and then never leave! Megan is truly an expert in her field who enjoys what she does, keeps up with the trends and always on top of whats best for your hair. She is all youd want in a stylist and more (sweetest person ever)... dont look any further and give her a go, you wont regret it.

I went to Haute Spa Salon and Kathy Watts was the stylist I saw. I asked for some highlights and lowlights and even showed a picture of what I wanted so there was no confusion. Kathy will act like she knows what she is doing, but unfortunately for me, I left my appointment with my hair looking like a patchwork quilt done by a toddler!When I asked it to be fixed she actually made it worse; because she doesnt know what she is doing! And forget about trying to get a refund for the service you did not receive but paid for! And to the Asian/pacific Islander lady that came in during my appointment, for this same incompetent stylist to fix a mistake she made with your hair too, Kathy said that she cant stand you and that you are irritating! Soooo people do yourself a favor and steer clear of Haute Spa Salon and Kathy Watts! She is an incompetent hair stylist and likes to bad mouth her paying clientele!

Nice place. Friendly staff. Smaller than I would have liked for being a spa. Prices are high as well. If I am expecting a spa like experience I also expect a spa like atmosphere.

One of the popular beauty shops! What makes it standout is the cute design of everything in this store, and, when I say everything, I mean not just the products but also the interior design. They all have the good quality of the beauty products that you want plus their staff members are very friebdly and accommodating.

I saw Kathy Watts for a cut, color and Brazilian blowout. I wasnt sure what I wanted, I asked for suggestions and let her do what she suggested and couldnt be happier! I have curly frizzy hair, the Brazilian Blowout took the frizz out and now I have soft, frizz free curls. I couldnt be happier, I found my new stylist! I highly recommend Kathy.

Couldnt have been more pleased with my visit! Booked a 90 minute massage, manicure and pedicure the day prior. Upon arrival I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and decor of the place. The owners were wonderful and all the services exceeded my expectations. The prices were almost too low for what I was getting! Absolutely will be returning in the future, and sending more clients their way

From the moment you walk in, youre completely at ease. Although the space is trendy and amazing - it feels welcoming and hospitable. The staff is always friendly. The owners are super nice. Feels like somewhere you want to be. I love it.I visited the place twice, first to get a hair cut and then for a full body massage. Good for the body, mind and soul. Never rushed, always warm, friendly and inviting. I walked in tight and left floating away.This is my hair home and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. I will definitely be back.Thanks Gary!

Great Family owned salon. They are incredibly helpful and fairly priced. When I was in there last there was a bridal party looking like they were having the time of their lives. I always get a great hair cut and there are so many services I think I might book a whole spa day next time !

I came to Haute salon with dry damaged hair and left with healthy looking silky locks. The staff were lovely and my stylist (the owner) was helpful and informative. He gave me very good advice and was friendly and accommodating.The salon itself is beautiful, there is coffee readily available. They are host to some excellent products for hair, skin and eyelashes too.When I tried to pay for my treatment and products there was a problem with my card, the bank had blocked it because of my failure to notify them of my travels. I had to phone the bank, the owner even tried to phone them on my behalf. Everyone was calm, patient and understanding. I had a wonderful experience at Haute salon and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I wont go anywhere else now, new favorite place!!

This place is the best kept secret in San Diego!! High-end salon haircut, full service for reasonable rates.The owners are so professional and take their time with each customer ensuring a quality haircut and style.I originally booked a haircut out of convenience to its proximity to my work.....now I drive 30min on weekends to get my haircut since Im so impressed with the service and quality of my haircut.

Love the Haute Spa Salon. My teenagers and I have been going here the last two years and are glad we made the switch from our former salon. All the stylists are skilled and very professional--Gary is awesome. This is a top notch salon with great products, people and reasonable prices.

My past stylist cut my hair for 8 years. Since I moved and got to San diego, I have been avoiding to cut my hair due to trust issues with hairdressers. Found this place and its a gem. Love it!

Gary does the best men haircut in SD. Happy to find him close to my house. Used to drive 40 minutes about 15 years to get my haircut. Will never go back to my previous barber shop. This guys hands are brilliant! Will recommend everyone to try him out. My son and my dad also started to go to him.

Haute Spa Salon is truly amazing! I have been going to Gary for years for my Brazillian blowouts- he is incredibly skilled at what he does. He takes the time to do a very thorough job and makes sure that the results last. I had searched all over San Diego for the best Brazillian blowout- this is it! I now live in Texas but fly back for my Brazillian blowout here. Thank you Gary and Narine for such a great experience every time!

Awesome! I found this place in point Loma, Googled and checked that reviews on yelp, had the best haircut by Gary, now my wife goes to her wife Narine and she gets her hair colors and eyebrows done. The best salon and spa in town, cleanest as you can imagine! Too friendly atmosphere. Glad I finally found local established salon and spa for my family.Highly recommended!

Narine is fantastic. I had been looking for a new salon and could not be happier. I have difficult hair - very thick and curly, and Narine gave be the perfect cut. She is also great at color, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and expertise she brings. Not to mention she is nice person with an amazing story. Highly recommend this salon, and especially Narine.

I came into town for an event and was fortunate to get an appointment with Tawny (sp?) for an up-do. I was rather nervous, ater a disastrous experience a few years ago going blind into an out-of-town salon...but there was no need here! Tawny was absolutely great, she recommended a style I wound up loving and did a spectacular job. She is obviously passionate about her work, and her talents are evident! I saw other stylists doing wonderful things while I was there. I will not hesitate to come back the next time Im in town! I was thrilled with the work (and the price was most reasonable as well!)! Great place, awesome atmosphere.Living in San Diego for almost 10 years I was trying different salons and professionals and was not finding my place until I have been at Haute Spa Salon.Totally worth driving all the way from Del Mar to Point Loma for my self, my husband and kids for wide range of spa/salon services.Finally my husband trust someone professional to deal with his hair and beard: and thats only Gary.Narine is the only person whom Ill trust my hair and nails.I was so scared to try Brazilian hair treatment for my super curly hair. and for this Christmas i did it. and I am absolutely happy with the result :)Gary pierced my 3 years old daughters ears without her realizing what happened. She didnt make any sing noise and was super excited and happy on the end :)Thank you

A nice place to get a spa experience in Point Loma.

My wife and I just found out about this spa and came in on a whim to get my wife a mani/pedi. When we called they were very friendly and set us up with an appointment on short notice. Upon arriving, we learned that the spa is under new ownership and they have really done some great work! The spa is very well set up and clearly renovated professionally. We were offered beverages immediately upon arriving and had a short wait. During this time we met both of the new owners, who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My wife got the mani/pedi, and said it was the most detailed treatment she had ever received. While I was waiting, they recommended that I could receive a massage while I was waiting! It appears that they cover the broad spectrum of spa treatments. The massage was amazing and we will certainly be returning. The best surprise was that the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of treatment that we received. I give this business my highest personal recommendation.
