I normally would give the salon a four this is before Covid. I made an appointment two weeks in advance for memorial day weekend I received a text in the morning 1 hour before my appointment They canceled my reservation. I called back to see if a different stylist could see me and they said sorry all stylists are booked. This is horrible customer service .Very disappointed in their customer service.I am a business owner and I know a customer service is about. You find a solution in a case like this. Especially memorial day weekend. Also not happy that they charge your credit card 100% if you cancel on them.

Appointments are kind of high on difficult to get in basis! Thank u covid..and they want credit card or debit card in adva6for payments..charge if reschedule 24hrs

I’ve been coming here now for over 4 years to get my hair done. I got a text message this morning that I have an appointment tomorrow at 9am. With the lockdown happening I wasn’t even aware that they were open again because they didn’t have an outside area to move to so they were all closed just a month ago. Since their Google Business listing says they open at 10am I waited until 10am to call them, 23 hours before my appointment to let them know I wish to move my appointment. They told me because I called an hour late they wouid charge me 50% of my appointment. I explained why I had waited until 10am to call them and the lady on the phone said they can’t change their google opening times (yes you can, just claim your business and change the hours) and I should’ve heard in the news or seen on their social media they are open. What kind of an excuse is that?! I don’t follow my hairdresser on social media nor do I keep track on when they decide to close and open again. I also never received their reopening emails which I already told them 3 months ago when they said they sent me emails. If they charge for a no-show I expect them to give me an adequate heads up and not 24hours before my appointment (they have a texting system which is what I am relying on) if they’ve been closed the last couple months. If they had texted me yesterday, more than 24 hours prior I could’ve canceled yesterday. It’s a bit convenient how they sent the text out right at 24hours before the appointment. Also, every single time I have an appointment I have to wait at least 20-30minutes for it to start. I NEVER not once complained about that nor did they let me know in advance that my appointment will start late. But if I let them know an hour late about moving my appointment they want to charge me??? They just lost a loyal customer.. tomorrow will be the last time I am going there.

Reed was amazing and courteous with COVID requirements. I live in the Bay Area and definitely look forward to my next trip to SD to see Reed! I asked him for his best work and have received compliments from the moment I left the salon. Thank You Reed!

I had an awesome experience at this salon! My husband and I stayed in Mission Beach on our honeymoon and I was inspired to chop all of my hair off while we were there. So the day we got there I looked up salons close by and this place looked the chillest and had great reviews so I gave them a call. They were available the next day! The woman on the phone was super friendly too. When I went for my appointment they took my coat and gave me a robe and I met my stylist Liz, who is extremely down to earth and fun to talk to. She specializes in short cuts so when I told her I was ready to chop off my curls she was super excited and had so much fun with it. The cut was exactly what I was going for and I left super happy! Definitely recommend this salon.

I had an appointment, but due to rain,I was late and notified them. When I arrived,they said I couldnt be seen bc they hadnt booked enough time for me to get my hair colored,and we drove 30 minutes to come over here as I had been coming here 2 yrs. Very disappointing

The best. I came in for a cut and style and had Macy. It was the best haircut I’ve ever had , she is very talented! My hair is difficult to cut, and she took her time and it turned out so nice. Highly recommend Macy

This salon is wonderful, so glad I found it. Booking the appointment was a breeze, did it online via there website and had no trouble at all. Lizette gave me the most awesome cut, I LOVED my hair! I will definitely be a new regular here and I highly recommend Lizette for a haircut!

Had a really great experience. I’m from out of town and was hesitant getting a cut with someone other than my regular barber. But Liz Radford would definitely be my regular hair dresser if I lived here in San Diego. She’s young but clearly loves what she does. She takes her time and her work speaks for itself. One of the best haircuts I’ve had! Other salons said they couldn’t get me in for at least a week but this Salon fit me right in and gave an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone! Paulina was there until bout a month ago. I love this location, but gave to follow Paulina to their downtown location. Pb is great. Walk in salon always calls ahead and reminds me of my appointment. They are easy to find and friendly. They know so much about the products they use and are so very passionate about pleasing the clients. Meeting our unusual, and usual needs no matter how difficult the color correction is...it will come out without turning your hair to cotton candy! Lol. Thanks ARCS Walk In.

Now Gabi is here couple days and Im so happy I came. (In progress to be full time in this location). We touch up roots....so in need. (Ugly Betty no more). Gabi did a Top deep conditioning and an always incredible brushing and mermaid curls. Gabi is that bright beautiful spirit that makes that time that you are with her pass smooth and pleasant. We talk, laugh, yep we speak in Portuguese, and I learn so much about new products and techniques. My hair never looked so good!! Proud of Gabis emotional intelligence and knowledge. She moved from LA already with lots of experience. Happy she restarted here at Robert Cromeans Salon Sd.* Gabi also cuts my hubbys hair.

Everyone here is very kind and courteous, especially my stylist Ashley! I tried to do an ombre on my own, which was a bad idea, and she fixed it and made my hair look beautiful! Really nice atmosphere and the staff is approachable and informative. Would 100% give them my business again and recommend to family and friends.

I decided to give Walk in Salon a shot after being referred by a friend. I scheduled an appointment for 1:00. She was super nice and helpful. I arrived at the salon and was politely welcomed and checked in. I took a seat at the couch and at almost exactly 1:00 I was greeted by stylist Sammy. She was super nice and made me feel comfortable right away. She Totally fixed my hair from the previous barber. AMAZINGGGG shampoo and style and I was on my way. Would recommend 10/10!!!!

Love this place. Front desk girls are so nice & professional. The BEST stylist is Vanessa! Shes a perfectionist & knows exactly what she is doing. Would highly recommend seeing her for color or cut or anything, she can do it all.

Love the service, but the girl working with me just couldnt get the idea that I needed a short haircut which is easy to maintain. I even showed her how short it should be on top of my head. She tried to do her best, but no dice. I had to go somewhere else to fix it.Usually, my husband and I had good experience at the place.

My hair dresser is Desiree and she is fantastic along with many of the other hair dressers there. I and my daughter have been seeing Desiree for a few years and we just love her. This salon is relaxing and the people are very friendly and helpful.

I am extremely happy with my hair cutter, Linzy. It is refreshing to know that she is so leading edge with her skills as she attends workshops, shows and industry events constantly. I also appreciate her positive upbeat personality during my visits which is like a 45 minute vacation!

I have been going to this salon since 2007. Always had a good experience, which is why I keep going back. Yesterday, went in for a “trim.” Asked the hair dresser to trim one inch. I think you know where this is going... she took 6 inches off. Not to mention, didn’t even fix my part before cutting. It was going in a diagonal direction, not centered at all. After she was finished she started running her fingers through my hair talking about “how long it is.” Um, no. Not anymore. Now, looking at pictures of my hair before she cut it I can’t believe she took as much as she did.

Love this salon. Great location and good service. Unfortunately if you find a girl that is good at her job she is going to move on to their more expensive salon or be bumped up to a more expensive tier of service. Its good for her but not for the customer.

Not REALLY a walk in place. I tried to get in on a Saturday afternoon & they were booked for the rest of the day. I would say an appointment is a must. cant rate their service so they may be great. I will have to try again.
