For starters it was like playing phone tag with the office and it took forever for them to call back. Once my son finally got in and scheduled for the surgery, it apparently did not “take to this body” according to Dr.Klatt. My son needed another surgery to fix it and was told by Dr.Klatt that it would be a simple, easy fix, no cast and just a walking boot. After the second surgery he was put on a no weight bearing order for 7 weeks. Definitely not an easy fix then. According to Dr.Klatt, he said there was a complication in the first surgery that Caused the second to have a no weight bearing, but I was not made aware of until after his second surgery. The scars on my sons feet from this procedure are also pretty bad, his incision was not closed very good and looks rushed. I felt like I was lied to, and the second surgery wouldn’t have been needed if it was done correctly in the first place. I was dissatisfied with him. I do not recommend him at all.

BEST! Dr. Klatt is well experienced with a vast knowledge and understanding of his work. His ability to connect with my daughter and put her at ease was exceptional. He was available for all appointments and listened to our concerns and addressed them. He was never rushed, nor too arrogant to be bothered with questions or concerns.

Dr Klatt was SO great with my 7 year old! He made her feel so special and had great bedside manner. She loved him. He was also very informative and thorough to me and my husband about the procedure he preformed.I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good orthopedic surgeon for their little ones!

He took care of my 13 year olds broken arm with compartment syndrome. Hes had a liver transplant so is immunosuppressed, and they took very good care of him. Very amazing Dr. He is super knowledgeable, and has incredible bedside manner. If only he were a general family practice doctor... Wed go to him for everything.

Best Doctor we have ever used. My 11 year old needed double foot surgery and he was great. Not only as a surgeon but also making her feel good through the whole process!! Very pleased and highly recommend!!

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Klatt for years for her scoliosis. He is SO SO good with kids!! He has the perfect bed side manner. He made her pinky swear today that she wouldnt date any guys until she was 30...and if she DID like a guy, she had to bring him in so he (Dr. Klatt) could threaten to put his feet on backwards if he (the BF) didnt treat her right!He has kept an eye on all my kids over the years. Do not hesitate to go see him. You will LOVE his personality and way of explaining things!!

When my son broke his leg badly, we were referred to Dr. Klatt by the orthopedist who put the cast on, for a second opinion. There were 2 sets of xrays, one from the ER and one from the orthopedist. Dr. Klatt and the fracture clinic reviewed only 1 set of the xrays (from the ER) and called for an emergency surgery at Primary Childrens Hospital. I kept asking why one doctors decision (the bone was fine and could be put in a cast) and Dr Klatts was so different. Every single person brushed us off and continued to railroad us toward the surgery.While waiting for the surgery, we realized that all these decisions had been made on incomplete information. At no point did anyone try to access the second set of xrays, even though it was the middle of a Wednesday afternoon. They put my son under general anesthesia to take more xrays and realized they had made a mistake. The excuse they made was X-ray machines at different providers dont talk to each other, so they couldnt access updated information. The nurses at Primary Childrens were horrified at the incompetence. Dr. Klatts team was dismissive of every question we asked. They are still demanding to be paid for the entire thing. Do not EVER ask for a second opinion without having every X-ray ever taken printed out and with you the entire time.

My newborn had to get a harness put on for hip dysplasia and Dr Klatt has been absolutely amazing! He’s so great at explaining everything so you don’t feel terrified. It’s been such a wonderful experience with him and would always recommend.

The Best Pediatric Ortho doctor! He explains things and is super knowledgeable. I may have to go to UT if my kids get hurt!
