I really should have done my research before getting shoulder surgery from Dr. Robert Z. Tashjian. I felt like like he didn’t care about me or listen to me. Having assured me he would do his best to avoid my tattoos, he went right through the middle of both of them and didn’t even line it up right when he stapled it together. (Thanks bro.) He also didn’t listen or care that I didn’t want any pain medication, he prescribed me Oxy anyway. Long story short he doesn’t listen, doesn’t care and I wouldn’t recommend him.

Had full rotator cuff tear and bicep tendon re route, and I was amazed how fast it healed. I am a 55 year old baseball player and by 4 months i was already throwing and by 6 months I was able to pitch again. Now a year and half later I can throw as hard as I did when I was 30. I totally credit Tashjian for the surgery and the Rehab i received from the UofU. Thanks!!

I had 2 previous shoulder surgeries by a different surgeon that had failed. I was referred to Dr. Tashjian in hopes he could help me. And he sure did. He spent more time than I thought someone would to make sure he was doing what was best for me and my case. I will forever be grateful for him and his team on helping me get back to my old self.

Having been in the orthopedic and spine implant business for 25 years, bed side manor, is he on time or how his staff treats me is irrelevant. A perfect or near perfect surgical outcome is the only thing I care about. As a former college football player and weight lifter my shoulder cartilage was non existent. After enduring pain for 4-5 years I decided to have shoulder replacement surgery. I did my homework and selected Dr. Tashjian. Two days post op I was totally pain free. My range of motion has improved dramatically. Hes the go to doctor.

He never made me feel rushed and explained my shoulder issues and proposed surgery in increasing detail as I requested of him. He has a great staff of nurses, schedulers radiology technicians and Residency and Internship MDs working alongside him and his staff. Parking for offices and for the orthopedic surgical center very close to entrance and convenient. works with a full range of on-site other orthopedic specialists and physical therapists who all work very well together.

Dr Tashjan did both shoulder that were blown! I am so happy! The BEST Othopedic Doc I ever met. Did two total reverse shoulder replacement surgeries. THREE ORTHO RESIDENTS FROM THE U OF U MED CNTR SAID i am a poster boy for shoulder replacement surgery. Close to full range of motion and pain is gone!
