I used to love this hospital but no longer do. I had to go to a dental appointment there but was told to go to the school by the hospital. Got there and was told it was actually at the hospital. Which is about 2 minutes away. However no one informed me there was construction everywhere and the parking garage is a joke. Took 30 minutes to park because people dont know how to park. So I was turned away for being thirty minutes late even though it was due to their miscommunication. Super frustrated.

High quality Healthcare with friendly staff. Just beware of parking issues and construction. Take advantage of the free valet.

I stayed at u of u twice for covid , the first time ER was good and the nurses were mice except one who I heard say she didnt want to have the covid patient. The second time I felt pushed in a little corner room and the nurses seemed mice but none of them wanted to come in and they never sterilized in there. There was a commode by my bed which I sensed was more for their convenience I was encouraged to wash my hands after using it. No vitals till I was ready to leave. Food was inedible and tasteless. I received MRSA staying at the University hospital prior a fees years ago. I came home this time and a week later I end up with a bad infection and am being treated at st marks. Why I of u has the reputation of amazing is beyond me. I give it 3 starts instead of one because there were some awesome nurses the first covid stay.

Worst place to end up for an accident. Extreme high bills with the worst patient care ever experienced in my life. Doctors don’t communicate well with staff everything is miss communication and sorry didn’t know comments. While getting an MRI couldn’t breathe from Covid mask, plastic mask for mri and while in the mri scan was banged by employee to stop moving. I have so much more to say. Sorry you guys couldn’t Milk my health insurance I’m glad they put a stop to it. You guys wanted to keep me in that building of a prison for weeks more just to ring up the bill. My health insurance paid 80% of your 60k bill Lol you guys are ridiculous with the worst customer care. If I have a choice I will never see you guys again in my life.

I came in for a minor concussion and trauma to the neck. The staff handled me very well considering I have no family and am living alone. They gave me referrals for follow up and have shown they care about my well-being. I may have been at the hospital without family, but my neighbors were family enough. :)

I just called asking for covid19 testing as Ive been near someone who tested positive yesterday, when I called they told me that unless I have symptoms I cant be tested! There are kids that live with me how can I keep them safe if I dont know if Im infected? (Btw I was talking to Claudia who told me this)

Went to ER, staff was amazing. The small rooms were clean and comfortable. Only improvement I would suggest would be a TV to engage one while waiting for patient and family.Good job U of U

Worst L&D service. Decided to deliver here for my high risk pregnancy. Came in labor with plenty of time to admit me. Resident refused to admit me until I measured a 5 according to policy? (I think the resident didn’t want to get out of bed.) Told them I go very fast, this is my 6th baby, 5th VBAC, my baby has Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect (AV canal). Wouldn’t listen. After waiting for over an hour in triage had a precipitous delivery, no epidural, no neonate team ready for my baby. Wish I would’ve delivered at American Fork hospital instead or IMC. Avoid delivering your baby here if you can.
